I ordered a part off this companys page on eBay and there was nothing but problems with the site (thanks to eBay) I was beginning to lose hope and count my losses. That is until, I came into contact with Camryn M. This guy not only helped me, but made me feel like as a customer, I mattered.The reason this business got 5 stars is because I couldn't give them 6. Camryn M. Helped me for two full days including during what I can only imagine would have been his time off. If I didn't live in indiana I'd shake his hand personally. I can see why this business has been around for a while, please keep it up, you're all awesome!
I ordered a seat for a vehicle I’m repairing. Due to New York State regulations, it’s illegal to purchase used airbags here, so I searched out of state and found what I needed at this junkyard in Connecticut. I contacted them on Thursday to confirm they had the exact seat I needed — including the correct color and airbag compatibility — and after confirming all the details, I paid for the seat in advance. I clearly informed the salesperson that I would be driving 250 miles from New York on Monday to pick it up.
Unfortunately, when I arrived on Monday after a long trip, they brought out the wrong seat — completely different from what I ordered. No apology, no explanation, no attempt to make it right. I wasted an entire day and a round trip for absolutely nothing.
Extremely disappointing experience. If you're considering doing business with them, be warned: double-check everything and don’t expect accountability if they mess it up.
When you have a vehicle break down for any reason, it’s a start of a headache, but I have to say that the professionalism and all the help was five stars all the way, especially Camryn, who went above and beyond and he was the aspirin to my headache? We've used Ding's for years, but Rich B over there is especially helpful. He asks all the right questions to make sure you're getting exactly what the vehicle needs. Just recently he's helped me out a good bit sourcing parts I can't find. If there's an issue with a part that was delivered, they're pretty quick about finding something to swap it out. On top of all that, Rich is really easy to talk to; plenty of other places you can tell the person on the other end of line really just doesn't want to be there. Terrible customer service and communication, we were told we would talk pricing once i came there due to scratches on the part. I Drove an hour to this place and come to find out its even worse then he had said. I then to try talking price and getting it for less then the price i was told but conveniently tommy the guy i was on the phone with had left the yard and would not pick up the phone. I tried working out a deal with the other employee that was there but all he said was i have no authority to do anything on that and its almost 5 oclock i have to go home. Wouldn't recommend these people to anyone i know
I wish Ericka sold groceries, gasoline, and toilet paper too so I could just buy everything from her. Impeccable customer service. Ding’s is my one stop shop for used/reman car parts.

I drove 2 hrs from NYC and it was worth every mile. When you call Ask for TOMMY, he went beyond and above to help me get transmission and transfer case for my Mercedes. All the parts match description and serial numbers. Here no monkey business allowed, but only real people with real parts.. they store everything in warehouse so all the mechanical parts stay in good condition and lubricated and ready to be installed. Def I would do business with them again.
Do not ever buy from these guys, they scam people and sell products that have way more damage than what was discussed, then they say they have no wiggle room for giving any of your refund when the markup is %600, and they do not get back to you after you tell them what’s wrong as in no big deal to them. After all said and done the amount of money I put into the part I bought and made MAJOR repairs to, I could have bought a brand new part and had it painted.
Andy went above and beyond when I got a used transfercase with a faulty motor/module. He worked with me personally for a couple of days to one replace it and two make sure it’s the correct module. I’ve been to dings in the past for parts and I’ll always be back.
I’m in NY they obv in Connecticut, Called on Monday of all days, spoke w/ Ericka she located part (front fender) very professional told her id be “sending someone not today probably tomorrow” again Monday someone came in, I sent person ten minutes after my people were in route I emailed Ericka saying I found someone they’ll be there in 2 hours. 5 minutes later emailed back we haven’t pulled yet (my fault) said I will call my people back she said “No I will get our people on asap” and she did, fender was better than advertised, a guy loaded part in car for the lady I sent and they could not have been better. Great group of people and the part saved my azz on this end color matched and all. Do not hesitate, call Ericka and the crew!
Ordered a Sentra Transmission from Brandon, arrived quickly, got the customer's car running. Even arrived with the transmission brain box, which solved 90% of install problems with these CVT's. Great folks who know their stuff

I recently got several large parts for a car needing theft repairs through Ding's and it could not have gone smoother. Ericka was able to find almost everything I needed and I really appreciate her patience. Pricing was very reasonable, including the freight charge to ship it to me two states over. I would do business with Ding's again in a heartbeat!

Impressed with Ding! A part I needed had fallen through from another source and I had a limited window to make a repair appointment. Ding worked with me to get the part I needed quickly, despite their crew being slammed. Very friendly, great customer service and the part is in great shape at a very good price.
I was very pleased with Andy’s work ethic and professionalism. To be sure his task to find the part I was looking for was a difficult one. The availability of the part I needed is in very short supply. Although it didn’t work out, the company refunded the purchase price without a hassle. Ding’s is a first rate company to do business with in my opinion.

I do bodywork and buy/sell cars. Most of my experience with people in the used auto parts industry is that they are rude and demeaning. These guys are top notch, professional and polite. They treat customers with dignity and respect and their prices are fair. They pull the parts and have them waiting and ready for you to come pick up. Other used auto part yards can take note from these guys.
This is based off of 1 experience with them. Found them on line and was able to find the parts I needed. Staff were friendly and helpful in locating the parts.
They even forwarded pictures to my email so I knew what I was getting. After calling about 15 yards, these guys were the friendliest to work with. Andy helped me place my order. Most places made me feel like I was just bothering them by calling but not Dings.
Andy ordered the parts from a location in Virginia on Friday and they were there waiting for me to pick up Monday morning.
I had to keep checking my GPS when I drove out to them as I was convinced I put the wrong location in. This yard is located in one of the prettiest countryside locations. Kind of funny.
Anyway, thanks to them I got the parts I needed at a decent price and a really nice road trip out of it! Would definitely use them again!
