I haven’t been to a hardware store with as knowledgeable and helpful a staff as this in years. We’re talking pre-home depot, local hardware store knowhow and service.
Locked my keys in the car while visiting Cornwall and ended up waiting in this hardware store. Eric was extremely helpful and great at sales (he walked me through the sales table for some incredible finds). Looking forward to visiting again. Thank you.
Best service I have ever had from a hardware store. On my first visit upon movingto the area I bought 2 ladders from here and realized they wouldn’t fit in my car. Stupid mistake but Kevin offered without hesitation to put them in his truck and do the 30 min round trip to my place. He wouldn’t accept any gratuity or fuel money. Since then he Jeremy and D’artagnan have given not only excellent service but the best advice and tradesmen referrals. Love this place.
These folks are very helpful. And for a small store front, it's actually very deep and had a lot of specific hardware. Yes, their prices will not beat the big chain stores. But you can be done with your errands here in 5 minutes or less sometimes.

We received EXCELLENT customer service on two separate occasions at Northwest lumber. The person who helped us was friendly and knowledgable. Much better than home depot in every way!! Would certainly go back.
