Not for poor folk on a budget, unless you compare prices... especially with locals

We had a great time. Dinny ro think that not much has changed at fairs in the 50 years since I last went to one as a kid ... I missed out! Great parking with plenty of space and attendants whonfuide you. Spacious layout so there is plenty of eoom for the people ro walk around and tou so t have to squeeze theough a bunch of people. Allot of tables and benches under twnts to sit and eat. Just be aware, phone signal coverage might be spotty. We were 6 people all with different carriers and all of us had teouble even sending and receiving text mssgs. Rip: arrange for a spot to meet as you areive, dont rely on being able to call others on the phone.

Overall a nice time. Good food, a bit smaller than other fairs it feels like but not bad. Prices were reasonable and support a good cause so no complaints!

Lots of rides for the kids. Great homemade baking. Trapeze artists, dog demonstrations, tractor pulling contests, all the usual animals.

Always one of the best fairs in Connecticut. Kudos to the Bridgewater Volunteer Fire Department for putting this together year after year.

Cute fair. Smaller than many County fairs in the area but still a lot of rides and decent food! They have tractor pulling, hay bale throwing and fun activities!

Had a blast at the Bridgewater Fair. Parking was great and effortless with the help from the Danbury Civil Air Patrol. They really know how to be organized and efficient !

Always a good time at the Bridgewater Fair. Great food (fried dough! Roast Beef sandwiches! BBQ!), rides for the kids, skillet, tosses, pig races and a lot of happy people. A great afternoon or evening out.

It's been quite a few years since I been! But it was bigger and better. Carnival, lots of vendors and places to buy from (clothes, crystals, kids stuff, etc) delicious food! All kinds of choices (prices a bit high) also there is admission 10 dollars and 12 and under free and seniors 8. Tractor pull, animals to feed, look at, pet. All different events. The website shares a schedule. Great for whole family!!

My family and I go every year. Not to be missed. And the food is amazing. Get the roast beef sandwich.

The Bridgewater Country Fair is a great place to spend a day with family and friends. There is something for everyone, from rides and games to food and entertainment. The fair is open from 4pm to 11pm on Friday, 8am to 11pm on Saturday, and 8am to 6pm on Sunday. Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and veterans, and free for children under 12. There is free parking on-site. The fair is located at the Bridgewater Fair Grounds, 100 Main Street South, Bridgewater, CT 06752.

Muddy smelly overpriced people with strollers run over your legs and you're hounded to sign up for things like life insurance and solar panels not alot of handmade crafts or food choices it's alot less than what this used to be parking was also a nightmare and even though there was alot of handicapped spaces we were still forced to park very far away and walk

Look forward to going to the fair every year. With covid it has been 2yrs since the last one. Happy it's back again!

Bridgewater fair is always the perfect kick off to the fair season. And it's all volunteers too. The food is all done by the fire department and that's where the proceeds go. Great cause!

Great traditional country fair, superb live music, plenty of entertainment and things to see & do, lovely family day out.

It was a nice time. I was a little let down because I'm use to larger country fairs. They had all the elements there, tractor pulls, pig racing, 4-H showings and pie judging.

Agricultural fair with clean grounds and friendly people in a small town with down home values. Ox pulls, goats, pig races, great fair food and a beer tent amongst other attractions.

Awesome time every year. Interesting vendors, good carnival, cool animals and great exhibits. The roast beef sandwich is a must and it is so cool to have such a big event to support the local Fire Dept. Definitely an annual tradition for anyone local. Don't miss it.

Grounds were very wet, but they had mulch everywhere to help. Fair was fun. Tons of vendors. CROWN FORGE was awesome to see someone forge in person, instead of just on TV.

Annual county fair with small town feel with livestock and amusements, farmed out to 3rd party amusement company Tufano, that detracts from the small town it’s in. “Americana” is diluted by the traveling fair employees all wearing their company t-shirts. Proceeds from entry go to Volunteer Fire Dept., rides, amusements and foods to Tufano, big sponsor tents like those from local car dealer, and landscaping company all give it a commercial feel. Been there four times and for good or bad the experience has been identical. They just need to change the date in the programs. As a town resident I wish there was more of a local presence, beyond the few tents selling baked goods. It just seems like a $$$ suck; would like to see some more ad hoc events that people could participate in, beyond organized events like the tractor racing. Would be nice to see community building events and presence of Town, with proceeds going directly to the Town, instead of just the VFD and Tufano if they’re going to call it the Bridgewater Fair, otherwise call it what it is. This sounds snarky and jaded but there is much more to be desired after attending (paying) more than once. Especially considering it clogs up traffic in town, uses town land, staff, police, etc. I don’t think Norman Rockwell would have anything to paint here. Lots of hearty, greasy food and rides for kids, in fact It seems like stroller city with every child and families from neighboring towns.

I had a lot of fun. It was right after they had rain so the fairgrounds we're a bit muddy, but were still navigatable. I'll go back next year.

Even though the fair had a lot of rain the day before, they did a great job trying to keep the mud puddles passable. Loved the fair..

Must go to summer fair! Delicious chicken and roast beef truly special. Usual assortment of other foods pulled pork, corn, fried dough and icecream. Bands and a beer tent round things out. Menagerie of animals horses, cows, sheep, goats, chickens, pigs and rabbits. You won't be disappointed.
