My car needed to be seen several times. The first time they fixed the problem with no hassles. The staff was kind, courteous and straight forward. The work was done in a timely fashion.
This last time, I was given an estimate and was told the possible outcome. Upon further investigation of the problem, it was determined the cost to fix the car outweighed the car’s worth. There was a concern more repairs would be needed once they began. I was saved hundreds of dollars. They were looking out for my best interests and best outcome! I had a great experience with them overall.
My dad and I went there the day after a concert and the towing guy came after an hour even though it was closed that day. The guy’s name was Keith (or Health I forget) and was the most understanding and helpful man. He helped us blow the tires up and was very calm, kind, and quick.
Just purchased a 2015 Jeep grand Cherokee from these guys. Had a great experience with the salesman being up front and honest and not pushy. Carfax was listed on the add. If you're looking for a good vehicle from good people, this is the place to go! Highly recommended.
Helpful and asked for nothing in return. I found a nail in my tire while at a shopping center. Flagged down one of their trucks and the driver was nice enough to jump out to take a look, talk me through some options, and ultimately help me save the tire completely.
I would give 0 stars if I could. Towed my car within a half hour of me parking in the lot. No one in the booth to pay for parking, no way of knowing I'd be towed because the signage is in the lot not facing the street. Looked all over and called the number to find out where my car had been taken to. I was told it was cash only, so i was forced to walk around downtown Hartford with my friend to try and find an ATM. I consider this a pretty dangerous and unnecessary predicament to be in for 2 single females at 1030pm on a Saturday night. Finally got a ride to the tow spot around midnight and the person that gave my car back was quite smug. I heard they towed 3 other cars within the same hour!! I reached out to try and get some sort of compensation or explanation and never heard back. This business is disgusting and predatory. SHAME ON YOU
I love this garage there are very reiable n dependable and price are reasonable . I was misdiagnosed at a different garage my vehicle sat for 6 months n they figured it out the 1st day I towed it to them . Salva is the owner very cool person Casey manger another very cool person . I bring both my vehicle's to them
I have been a customer at CT Auto for several years now, as well as 3 other family members. We have been very pleased with the service and honesty we have received here. Casey is always on top of his game, polite and respectful.
I have not had to use their towing services. However, I work in downtown Hartford and I do know if you don't pay to park, no matter how long you've been there, they will be called for a tow. CT Auto is just DOING THEIR JOB!
I have been going here at least 5 years now. When I was buying a used car from another business, (my car now) they helped to look at it and give me their opinion and feedback. Since then, I go to them for all my cars needs, oil changes, and any other problems that arise. Casey is usually the first person I try to call for any of my car issues, troubles, and repairs.
I do not trust just anyone with my car. I do not trust places that try to over-charge, constantly try to upsell you and tell you this this and this need repairs.
CT Auto has definitely earned my respect and loyalty as a long term customer.
They always notify me when other things are wrong with my car, always give me a fair priced estimate, and never push the sale onto me or keep haggling me about it.

Just recently drove my car in a day before me appointment.. without hesitation Casey had my vehicle in the shop.. ordered the parts I needed took of all after market warranty issues..these technician are 2nd to none .. for the problem corrected while Casey and I joked it up about life with kids . My son's car had all 4 tires and rims stolen and left on blocks. We went through Town Fair tire and they recommended CT Auto. They did a great job getting the car on the flat bed and transported to Town Fair. I would highly recommend CT Auto and Towing
This company is robbing people of their money. I do delivery work and I left my car in the city center for 1 minute, when I returned they were tying a rope to tow my car. They immediately asked for 133 dollars. I asked for 5 minutes to go to the ATM, I returned immediately and they towed my car, it is very unfair. I came to this address with Uber and the owner of the company is the same person who towed my car. I waited for them in their office for 1 hour at 12 at night, they towed a new car from the city center and they were returning, they told me very rudely to complain to anywhere you want and all they said was "OK". They took 210 dollars in cash from me. I want to complain to the State teams so that they can inspect this company
Had a great experience all around from this company on multiple occasions. From the tow truck driver who was fast and on time, professional and friendly to the office staff who are responsive and more than happy to help… I highly recommend CT auto & towing.
They're exceptional in their Auto mechanics. They do a very good job and seem to know what they're doing. They're honest and keep their auto services as exceptional as the dealership will do for you but with a very good pricing.
Ct auto has worked on everything from my beater daily to my AMG, diesel pickup to International box truck. Every vehicle has been handled with care, and zero corners cut. Staff is very professional and have tons of knowledge. Only shop I’ll take my vehicles to from small repairs to major body work in they do it all. Would recommend this shop 1000 times over again
The only shop I trust to tow my cars, they are meticulous and are able to tow lowered cars with ease while other shops wouldn't even try to do it. Slava and his team are the best around!
I called after getting a crazy quote to fix my AC. Casey was so kind and offered a much lower price and was super flexible about getting me in as soon as possible! AC has been working great for the past couple months and look forward to coming to CT Auto & Towing for all other car needs! Highly Recommend!
This company seems highly unethical and preys on people near the XL Center. My partner and I stopped in Hartford for a quick bite after a long drive. They must have been watching us park because within 10 minutes, our car was towed. We had to take a $20 Uber to their location and pay $210 to get the car back.
Back in February I was in an auto accident in Connecticut and CT Auto & Towing were sent to pick my and my damaged vehicle up. The operators awe prompt and professional and offered a lot of helpful advice for the situation. Back at the shop Casey and the crew kept me informed and updated on all parts of the process of getting my totaled vehicle taken care of. All around great group of guys working here. I cannot recommend them enough.
They are amazing at what they do. My car was in a fender bender and they made it look like nothing ever happened. They also had the car ready for me a couple days sooner than they expected. Mr. Gofman the owner and Casey Orr were in touch with me the whole time and were both very professional. And there service is definitely top notch and would definitely bring my car there for services again if needed.
I saw they were selling a 2018 Audi a8 4.0t on Facebook marketplace. I reached out to them to let them know that I was possibly interested. They are based in Connecticut and I am in New York. After having a positive back and forth with one of the employees named Joe, I decided to take the 5 hour trip and check the car out in person. Joe had already responded to any questions I had and he even did a video of chat walk around of the vehicle. He assured me that the vehicle was in great condition and that he thought that once I saw it in person, I would agree. So when I arrived he was there waiting for me and eager to show me around the car and show all the features the car had. I took it for a test drive and it drove great. I decided to make the purchase and they were able to get me a temporary registration so that I would be able to drive it home the same day. They reiterated that it would come with a 30 day/3000 mile warranty in case anything did happen that it would be covered. Overall I am extremely satisfied with my experience with them. They were all great to deal with and didn't try any of the "hidden fee" nonsense that many places try to do that advertise online. I am definitely a happy customer and I will update this review if anything ch3. But as of right now I would definitely recommend them and can verify from experience that they are an honest dealer
Friendly and kind staff, clear assessment of the work that needed to be done taking in to account my situation. Was one of those tricky issues with 7-8 different possible causes. When that did not address the issue I took car back in. They detailed what might need to be done to fix including labor costs. Since it was an old car I decided to not proceed, I appreciated the honesty re costs to fix. They also promptly inspected at the used car that I planned to purchased and bought my old car for a fair price.
