It's come up so mitzvah easier. New system where they actually give you a slip to where all the card are labeled and located to make your trip much easier... and barrels on wheels to use.
The front desk employees have all been kind to me. They have also been accurate in itemizing huge messes of parts I pulled. Older guy cashier went out of his way to help ring out a particularly big (5 wheelbarrow full) order and help me get it moved to my vehicle before they closed.
If you are a Car Junkie this is the place for you! It is $2 to get in. You have a huge selection of junk cars to choose from to get whatever part you possibly need. When you check out the parts are super cheap! They take cash or card. Make sure you bring your own tools and wear dirty sneakers or boots. You're going to get dirty. They have wheelbarrows to help you once you pull the parts out of the car to get them to the checkout. They offer 60 and 90 day warranties on most parts as well!! Had a super fun time pulling parts and accessories needed for my car! (2013 nissan murano) but they have almost every car, truck, suv you can think of.
New service car locator in the yard,tells you exactly where your vehicle or alike vehicle are located.Left ,or Right side and row.Game changer.I was out with my parts 25 min flat.
I called what I thought was 1 location ended up being half hour away. Then after telling me to stop by I ended up needing to hit the pick n pull. Im in a black and white dress. I expected to just grab n go. Otherwise they had exactly what I needed and great price!!
Not the best "pick and pull" too much parts and debris in the rows between the cars. Difficult to navigate especially with your wheel barrow if you are using one. Also, not very happy with the pricing. The whole point of going to a "pick and pull" salvage yard is to save money. They often charge the same price for a part that I can get off the shelf at other yards. Why go through the work if you aren't saving any money? Also, if you are going in there with your own wheelbarrow, you have to deal with going up and down stairs with all your tools...not fun. If there is a plus it's that you will probably find what you are looking for here. Other than that it's just not the best "pick and pull" yard.
I called for the second time on 12/28/2024 to resolve some miscommunication with a part I had ordered. The older-sounding man that was speaking to me through the phone took my whole situation as a joke and was giving me this sarcastic attitude without being useful one bit. If it wasn’t for Kurtis/Curtis today 12/30 I wouldn’t of had my solution!
Do not trust those parts or Brian Adam’s please go anywhere else ..
and that one star comment that girl left under me is the same situation they will hang up on you
Worked with Adam, best experience I've had in a long time. I called from out of state and he was super polite, got a work order together, paid online and got my parts packed nicely in a couple of days. I'm impressed!! It never goes this smoothly!
Usually don’t have any issues with Chuck and Eddie’s and have purchased multiple parts from them for my car and friends and family. My rating is based on my customer service experience today. I called to ask about a battery for my car, first call was transferred to a voicemail where I left a message. Tried calling another location but I guess there’s no difference in the numbers listed because I reached the same person. He wasn’t overtly rude just seemed annoyed and in a rush to get me off the phone. Anywho, he transferred me again and this time I reached someone. She informed me that they don’t keep inventory on batteries and she had no way of knowing what they have. I asked if maybe someone could take a peek for me real quick as my car is currently in the shop and I have no way of driving there to look myself. She hung up on me. Like come on ma’am. The first man literally told me that he transferred me to someone near the batteries so they could check for me. But I guess you just didn’t feel like looking and hanging up on me was easier. Thanks so much for all your help.
Best spot in Connecticut to pick your own parts. But I feel they removed or scrap cars from their field inventory to fast and not updated with same make and model to freshly pick parts from.
Please try to avoid this place as much as possible. I traveled 2 hours for a broken windshield I paid for 2 days before. The guys are really horrible and are not properly trained to deal with customers.SMH I'll never recommend this place to anyone
I'm sorry I always love this place but I went in there and they can be a bit rude and so I tried to find what I'm looking for and they wouldn't even tell me where the car was located although I called earlier and they told me was there and I know they invoice these things so they know where it's at but I had no help at this time so it's not going to stop me from going there hopefully maybe they just had a bad day but they got to learn how to talk to people even though I also saw some preferred treatment with other people the place is great hoping never leaves but I hope the attitude adjustment gets done.
Spoke plain English,wanted a 070 paint code Toyota RAV4 drivers fender,keep from painting you know,sent me 040 paint code,I can get a fender local and paint dumb but,thanks but not next time,loosers
The reason they didn't get 5 Stars is because you can not buy vehicle bodies. For a vehicle that they paid 400.00 I tried to pay 1200.00 and they said that no vehicle is sold here.
