Absolutely the best! I had my truck towed in after a transmission line broke. The repairs were done in a timely manner. The guys spent time explaining what broke and showed me the defective parts. We also had our daughters car repaired after a misfire left her stranded on the highway. The car was repaired quickly and properly. In a time where its difficult to find reliable honest mechanics, Volpe delivered. I highly recommend them.

Amazing place, trust worthy, good prices and great guys. Been coming here for years for everything. Ive come in for them to scan codes for me before and they have never charged me, Ive also had my cars diagnosed plenty of times and never been charged a diagnostic fee. If you want to feel comfortable and not anxious about getting something repaired, come here. I also have my girlfriend come here for everything because I trust these guys way more than places that like to take advantage of women who may not know exactly what their car needs.

Quoted me higher than dealership to change shocks and told me the shocks don’t need work anyway. I’m pretty sure they just didn’t want to do the work.

I just want to thank this facility so much. My car was hit December 9th on my way home from work (total loss). SPD called volpes to pick up my vehicle and Mike was an absolute sweet heart! He arrived at the scene in under 5 minutes. He was super kind and asked me if I was okay. He told me not to worry about my car it’d be brought to this location and I could collect my things whenever I was ready. Mike is an upstanding man. I also had the chance to meet Guido who was also a delight! My car was stuck there for a month due to the at fault drivers insurance not updating me and not once did they hassle me about my car being there. I thank you guys so much! This place is awesome and the customer service is incredible. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Love love love Volpes! They’re all honest, thorough, and efficient always. As someone w 3 unpredictable service industry jobs, I really appreciated their willingness to cram me in for a check up on some warning lights when I had the afternoon free last second. If you’re a woman GO HERE! They won’t take advantage of you not having extensive auto knowledge and will explain things to you.

They were awesome! Great price . My daily driver. I’ve had my vehicle for a long time. It’s a ford. (Found on road dead) . But Being a single mom and can’t afford new right now. I explained. But needless to say they knew it was urgent. Found out There was a small transmission leak. And my antifreeze container needed replacement. I dropped my car off in a panic of course. Highly recommend Volpe’s! Super nice guys who take the time to explain what issues were found & how they fixed them (to myself who knows less than 0 about cars lol) very reasonably priced & they never try to talk you into unnecessary services. The only place I trust with my car!

I cannot say enough good things about this place. They are honest and always walk you through what they’re going to do before the start. They are timely and friendly. My husband and I will be lifelong customers.

These guys are awesome. Brought in my car for what I thought was brake issues. They got me in the same day. They immediately found an axle issue that was causing my problems and texted me pictures of this since I was doubtful on the phone. Their tech Mike did research on my car after he went home just to ensure that he wasn’t missing anything. After some discussion, they still did the brake work I wanted them to do even though it wasn’t the cause of the problem, just because I insisted. They did this the same day with a full schedule. Also gave great recommendations for transmission shops I could go to to get my axle repaired. Will definitely be here again for routine maintenance and jobs that are within the scope of a normal mechanic. Rates were more than reasonable when taking into consideration the amount of time my car spent on their lift.

I can't overstate how amazing Volpe & Sons is!! They are so kind, so skilled, and so knowledgeable. I've taken my vehicle to them multiple times and each time they've figured out and fixed the issue far faster than I expected. I always walk out having payed much less than I anticipated as well. I highly, highly recommend them for all of your car maintenance needs.

Volpe is by far the best mechanic I’ve been to. They are honest and do their best to save you money. I will always trust my car with them and sleep easy knowing they won’t try to rip me off.

Volpes is awesome!! I had a problem with my muffler and i called them because everyone else had such a long wait. They saw me the next day got the part and fixed it in a day and they’re reasonably priced too! Definitely will be back!

I think this is my second review, but they are just so good I have to write another. They are so honest, caring, and good at what they do! They have gone above and beyond to help me out, even last minute. They always listen to me and explain thoroughly what the issue is, and never overcharge. I will always use Volpe as long as I live in Connecticut

Highly recommend. My daughter had a incident with my car over Memorial Day Wknd, Volpe and Sons were courteous and helpful to Her and her Husband that Saturday. The following week they were just as helpful to myself offering their knowledge when I learned my car was totaled. Thank You for making a tough situation easier.

The Volpe Automotive team is 100% fair, genuine, and trustworthy. They have taken excellent care of my mother's vehicle as a widowed older woman and have treated her with kindness and generosity. HONEST Prices. Amazing towing. Really kind mechanics - this is the best place for a second opinion. Has saved me multiple times on dealership fixes by letting me know the fair cost. Will always service/tow to this place!

Quick and efficient and easy to deal with. We take out work Vehicles here for regular maintenance and repair. All of the staff that I’ve spoke too have been very friendly and informative. The back lot they keep the vehicles and is easy to get too. I just call and tell them I’m ready to pick up and I leave without a hassle of other places. I’ve have also never been tried to be up sold on things I don’t need.

I had an issue around 8:00pm, on the Friday night before Memorial Day Weekend (5/27/22), and even AAA couldn't help me/ The State Trooper at the scene called Volpe & Sons, and The Boss, Mr. Volpe himself showed up, & did what the AAA towing service could & would not do, and got my car to the body shop I'd chosen. I could NOT be more happy with his service, and his towing expertise (it was a challenging tow to be sure). I'd GLADLY recommend his company to ANYONE who needed automotive towing or service!!!

I can't thank you guys enough! I always have great customer service from Volpes! If I need maintenance or repair work done I will only go to Volpes. THEY ARE THE BEST FOR TOWING IN THE AREA! They've changed my oil, filter, and tires at a great price and that day! I know I can always count on them to do a good job. They always have everything done on time and the quality of work is excellent. Very honest about what is needed now and what can wait, and honest with price less than 2 other places checked. That's great customer service and there's no way any other auto repair company can beat that.

The people we worked with were easy to deal with. We felt like they were honest, caring g, reasonable, and accommodating. I had brought my mother's car in. I'll be bringing my whole family here now. They earned our business. We also felt like the price was more than reasonable.

First time using them. Daughter popped her tire on the highway, I picked her up for safety they went and got her car. Replaced all 4 tires by noon the next day. I could not have gone to a tire store for less, including the tow. Great bunch of friendly guys.

The owners and the staff are extremely friendly and above all honest. My wife and I have had both our cars serviced by Volpe over the years and every time their service is always done correctly and their prices have always been fair. Simply put they care about their customers!

My car broke down and I had it towed here. I didn't call ahead and they fit me in and fixed my car. They didn't try to oversell anything and only replaced what needed to be replaced. They could have recommended more to be done to make more money but instead only fixed what needed to be fixed. I'd highly recommend them!

What an amazing business!! My daughter's car alternator died at the gas station. We were able to get the car home but knew we would need it repaired. With her school and sport schedule, it was going to be difficult at best. As I was taking her to the school at 600a, I noticed there was staff in the building at Volpe Auto. I decided to stop there on my way home. Even though they did not open until 7a they invited me in. The staff was helpful and reassuring when they heard our situation. We had AAA tow the car to them and by 8a the parts were ordered. The job was complete and the warranty info confirmed by 230 the same day!!! Thank you so much?

Had an accident and my car was towed here. Guido and Jay were sweet as pie and more than eager to help me not only fix my car but also fix it up for the lowest price they can offer. Thanks to Guido and Jay I was able to drive my car home in less than an hour, not only fixing my bumper but ensuring everything else with the car was working and safe to drive. It made me feel like I could trust them. I will be returning here (instead of my old body shop) to have Guido and Jay fix the pre-existing minor issues on my car! Thank you SO much Guido and Jay! :)
