I usually don’t do this however I couldn’t help but acknowledge how well the two men at the front desk handled each call or customer that came into the store Dennis and Alex have phenomenal customer service and is a great asset to that fire stone I’ve dealt with other fire stones and the customer service was not this Welcoming I really hope that you guys keep these gentlemen and actually I would suggest giving them a raise because they are great employees And do great at their job

I brought my vehicle to the Firestone location in Newington a few months ago for service. After picking up my vehicle, I later realized that one of the technicians had entered my trunk and removed my personal property without my permission. The item taken was a personal altar valued at over $100, which I had purchased as a gift for a friend while on vacation. Having to explain to someone that a gift you purchased for them was stolen shortly before giving it is both frustrating and embarrassing. Due to this experience, I will no longer be bringing my vehicle to this Firestone location or any other Firestone locations. I also spoke with an acquaintance who shared that they experienced a similar situation at a different Firestone location, which raises serious concerns about customer trust and security. I believe this matter should be taken seriously and investigated appropriately. Customers should feel confident that their personal property is secure when leaving their vehicles in your care.

They are awesome!!! I called them at 5:30pm to get my tire plugged and they graciously took me in an hour before they closed. I am so happy they were able to squeeze me in! Thank you Newington Firestone

Exceptional service from this location. Upon entry, greeted by front service front attendees, one of which was the store manager Dennis. There were a lot of people there Upon my arrival for various reasons and it was standing room only. I notice how they interactEd with all of their customers, whether I. Person or on the phone. The bays were all full and the mechanics were all busy. I came in for a quote on four new tires for my 2021 Genesis GV80 Prestige (265/40's 22inch). I had already received quotes for the top of the line "Michelen" tires, four of which was running me about $2300 w/ 50k tread life not included labor and alignment. Tried Town Fair, they had a similar tire,by Continental, but out the door, less than the Hamden location of Firestone, but still close to $2k. Upon my return from the airport I searched the other Firestone locations along the Berlin Tpke, and the the reviews, and here's where I landed. Not only did I not pay well over $1400 for the full service, I got a different brand tire, whose ratings were just as good for nearly 55% less and top tier service. They were not stocked in-house, so Dennis took it Upon himself to order the warehouse in S. Windsor to grab them. While he was gone for the tires my car made it's way to a service bay where a tech began removing the old tires. Mind you, I got there about 12pm. All this to say Dennis and staff were Exceptional. I will be back should I need service. I was seen and taken care of. The car feels wonderful. Thank you so very much! Stephanie

DENNIS AND MARK were phenomenal!!!! From the moment I came in to the store, they listened to me, explained things, and assured me my car would be taken care and they did. The service was excellent and fast!!!!!

They were kind, fast and effective the morning of Christmas Eve. Nothing better than having a flat tire on your way to the gym, but at least I got it fixed quickly!

This is specifically referring to the Firestone in Newington,CT. If you are looking for old fashioned customer service with no B.S. knowledgeable service and a handshake these guys are the example. They have worked on both my vehicles. (Even though reluctant due to them being foreign vehicles). Again service exceeded my expectations and put hope back in my heart for solid customer service... Worth every penny... And thank you Dennis.

I got 4 tires and an alignment. They had the wrong size but they gave me better tires and it was actually about $10 cheaper than they quoted me for. Excellent service

Customer service was great! The team at the Newington center took care of what I asked for & there was no pressure for other work to be completed at the time of my original service which was great.

Brought my car in for new set of tires to be put on. Justin the service advisor is fantastic, professional, friendly, helpful, and kind. Austin my tech did a fantastic job on my car. All were very professional, and no judgement at all. Would highly recommend this firestone location for anyone for service.

Both of our cars were serviced today at Firestone in Newington, CT. We made the appointments online. The cars went in 1 hr apart. Each car was serviced in under an hour. They explained everything in detail and the customer service was to top notch. My husband will be a regular at that location!

Took care of the bosses personal truck, he was pleased with the speed of service. Oil changed in and out in less than an hour. I think they asked for 45 mins and I believe it was out in around that amount of time. Thanks Dennis, and the Tech Chris for explaining things to me in a detailed manner.

Went to get my emissions and they hooked it up with a free oil change, mechanic seem very honest wanted them to check if I needed a drain and fill for my transmission and they said I did not so I appreciate the honesty, good spot to go to and reliable for sure.

Tires wore out prematurely. Vehicle is aligned by Firestone and tires are rotated by them. Yes they offered a discount. However, new tires were way more cheaper at Costco and they needed a few days to get tires. That’s bull for a tire store. If they stand behind the product, they should offer a better discount if things go bad. Let’s face it, you sold a crappy tire to begin with and then suggest replacing all tires and the new tire price is jacked up. Seems like a coin grab move. Drop rating. Tried contacting Firestone. Goodluck. They give you the run around and want you calling many departments and spending your time on hold. Quick to take the cash but not to solve the problem.

I called two locations today with hopes of being able to be seen first thing tomorrow. Thankfully, this location had the availability I desired. I was super pleased with how patient and friendly the staff was while helping me adjust as a first time customer. I will surely be back to update my experience once the work has been completed. Thanks a bunch! Sir Dennis was amazing and made my first visit unforgettable! I will be back for routine maintenance! Dennis is an amazing account professional. It’s refreshing to work with an individual who truly understands and provides customer service. After shopping around, I chose Firestone solely on how he handled my inquiries as though they actually mattered. Never felt rushed or pressured for decision. It’s difficult these days to find service personnel who give you their full attention. I will be returning for tires on the rest of my vehicles.

Recently came in for a screw suck in my tire. It was late but they squeezed me in. They were able to switch out my tire and get me on my way in about 30 minutes. I was thankful I had purchased the protection plan on all 4 tires when I got them a few months prior. It saved me a bunch of money on a replacement tire (because the tire couldn’t be fixed due to where the screw was located). I’ve always had good service and experience with Firestone on the Berlin Turnpike in Newington. I will continue to take my vehicles there for all tires and services!

I give them 5 stars. Cause they were great! Very friendly. Plus very helpful. They answered all my questions. Plus took great care of my care. Been going to them for years. They have a great team that works there. Very knowledgeable. I recommend going there.

I had a great experience with Dennis at Firestone. He worked on my 2015 Honda Accord and did an excellent job identifying the issue and explaining the diagnostic results clearly regarding the transmission pressure sensor switch. He kept me updated throughout the process, ordered the necessary parts and made sure the repair was done right. Really appreciated his professionalism and communication—highly recommend Dennis and the Firestone team!

Excellent customer service. Got everything done that was needed with no hassle and no BS thank you to Mike the store manager and lovely techs. Will return for all vehicles needs.

***UPDATE*** Went again for an oil change and alignment check. Arrived at 8AM again. I decided to give it another try only because I had a coupon for a free oil change. I was told I would be out the door in about one hour. It was almost two hours again! Almost made me late for a 10AM appointment I had. Needless to say I will not be going to this Firestone location again. I went in for an oil change, tire rotation & alignment. I had an appointment for 8AM. I have come for this service at this location many times before and have been out within the hour. However, today for the same service it took 2 1/2 hours. This was an incredible inconvenience for me as it made me late for other appointments that I had. There was no explanation as to why there was a delay in performing the service. The gentleman who cashed me out at the end reminded me to give them a five star review. I cannot do that. 2.5 hours for oil change, tire rotation and alignment is completely unreasonable.

I brought my car in for an oil change and didn’t get back until almost 6 hours later. I called to see when it would be ready and the employee gave me a specific time. I arrived after the time I received and they told me it would be another 20 minutes. The front end employees seemed off putting and unpleasant. They behaved strangely and one straight up ignored a coworker when she asked him a question. Following up almost 2 months later, I spoke to the manager who said I would receive a refund and never got one. They also didn’t put air in my tires and something has been wrong with the tire monitor system since then.

I would give this place 10 stars if I could. Not only were they quick but extremely knowledgeable and was able to identify and resolve my car issues within 48 hours. I want to give a special s/o to the lovely Justin D.! I came into Firestone in a very emotional state and he was calm, reassuring and answered all of the millions of questions I asked. Thank you Firestone, you have found a very loyal customer! :)

I came here for an oil change & a brake inspection since my brakes have been previously replaced by the mechanics here before and I have been complaining about the same noise three times now. After first installation, they stated that the noise was coming from the fact the brake pads were incorrectly installed. They asked me who installed them originally to which I told them they did, therefore they re-installed new brake pads (this was in less than a year’s time). The noise has continued. Upon today’s inspection, they expressed that my back brakes were completely worn out and need replacement (since apparently only the 2 front had originally been replaced and paid for even though I had asked for all 4 to be replaced at once since I do not have time with work to keep driving back and forth) and suggested new brake fluid as well. At first I gave them the go ahead, but changed my mind quickly because of the issues I have been experiencing. After I left, I noticed a piece to my car was left underneath my windshield (which only became aware to me once I was on the highway and it began to move) which led me to inspect the rest of my car and that’s when I noticed the cap to my brake fluid compartment was left free floating underneath my hood. If these obvious items are left in such a way, how can I trust the brakes would’ve been completed correctly? I truly find this unacceptable, people come here and trust you to do something SAFELY and it’s a little scary when items like this are carelessly missed/misplaced. This makes it hard to trust in your work for bigger issues.
