I’ve never dared take my car anywhere else. They do a phenomenal job and have been servicing my vehicles for years. They tell you how it is, are real kind folks who know many in town and frequently help community members with more than just their cars! Tyler is the best!
Easy to book my appointment. Reasonable price and great service. Had my car services for the winter changeover for snow tires and alignment. I have a Jetta TDI and a regional tire retailer can't align it not I problem for the ship and they installed new tires I purchased from amazon(no warranty from shop but from manuf). Will have service done there again.
Rude customer service and my credit is 750. They make it seem like you looking for a car bothers them and it’s an issue that they’re in Sales. There’s definitely a lot better places to buy from than these guys.
I was in quite the pickle w/ my cars issues! I was able to call and get it looked at and fixed ASAP! Tyler and the guys worked fast and efficiently and I couldn’t have been more grateful for the speed and timeliness of my services. I stopped here after having my car repaired at the dealership. The dealership did not put something back in place. The guys at Northeast Auto went out and looked at my car immediately. They knew exactly what the issue was and kindly repaired (minor fix that sounded major) it for me on the spot. I couldn’t have asked for better service. I will definitely bring my car here for service in the future… and I will definitely bring more doggie treats!!
I recently brought my wife’s car in for multiple repairs after having extremely bad experiences elsewhere. The team here were so friendly and open about the process. They were very detailed in their inspection of the vehicle and were upfront about what work really needed to be completed vs what could wait. I ended up doing all the work that was needed due to the integrity and expertise the team showed. The cost was very fair and the final work was exceptional. We are from out of town and had a strange noise coming from our truck's suspension. Tyler was very patient and friendly. They seem very busy and professional. An older guy that was called to do a test drive to find the noise- not so much. He was a tad grumpy but it could've been an isolated incident (ya never know what's going on in someone else's life). They are conveniently located to our house so will use them again.
Been going here for 20 years! Danny runs a tight ship and takes a lot of pride in his business. Tyler is a heck of a nice guy who will make sure you get done what needs doing. If there's something he can't get that day, he can tell you where is the best place to do so (tires and things along those lines are most common). The prices are good especially considering most small businesses would absolutely charge more. The service is always top notch and very prompt. If you have any car issues, I recommend giving them a call!
The service and hospitality of the managers and staff at Northeast Auto & Truck are beyond fantastic! This past week I was involved in an auto incident and stopped by Northeast to determine if my car was drivable. I have never been a customer, but the staff (manager?) willingly came outside to look at my vehicle. He determined that I could not drive it anywhere and gave me advice as to next steps. I spent the next three hours in their waiting room with my grandson while waiting for a tow truck and putting in a claim to my insurance company. They were beyond welcoming, making sure that we were comfortable and also gave my grandson crayons and paper to color with. They were just so incredibly helpful in a stressful situation. I would definitely use their services as I can imagine their entire business is based on excellent customer service. Oh, and we LOVE their mascot dog Griffin!
As a newcomer to town, I asked neighbors and the local Facebook group where they go for car maintenance. The most common answer was Northeast Auto, along with adjectives like "trust" and "fair pricing". So I had a timing belt and engine gaskets replacement done there - and I agree with my neighbors. Work like that isn't cheap, but their pricing was reasonable (and a little bit cheaper than I had expected after first looking up quotes online).
Here's the reason I really wanted to write this review: while my car was in the shop I had a child go the ER via ambulance, and when I called to ask about my car they picked me up and got me to the hospital right away. That is going way above and beyond being a car repair shop. Things like that are the difference between a "bottom-line-first corporation" and a locally owned first-name-basis business that cares for you, that you trust. If they tell me my brake pads are worn down and should get replaced, you'll be darn sure I won't have to wonder if I'm getting upsold - I'll get the new pads. Thank you NE Auto.

Love this shop, been going here almost 15 years now and never had a bad experience. Been to other dealerships when our vehicles were still new and under warranty, and the bad experiences there really proved what a great place this is. Great family run business with attention to detail, noticed our turn signal light was out at a recent oil change and changed it without us mentioning. Thanks for always treating our vehicles and family with care!
Excellent service! And my car wheel problem was rectified in around 7 minutes. Employee's are all professionals and over many years they have got me out of so many problems. I would never go anywhere else!

Awful, would never return. My wife used them when on a trip and we had to get the same part replaced when we got back. The shop said they never even tightened the part down.
My brother's family and I have used Northeast Auto and Truck for our car and truck repairs for years. They are the most honest snd reliable place I have ever encountered. These atributes should not be taken lightly as we all have been fleeced by repair places at one time or another. They never recommend or do repairs that are not necessary, their pricing is VERY competitive and the service and repairs are top notch. I recommend them highly. Even if you have go out of your way to use them, it is well worth it to by treated with respect and honesty.
If you've ever been ripped off by a bad mechanic, or a shop that took advantage of you, you know how awful that can be and the expense it was!! If you never want to experience that again, then you MUST make Northeast Auto and Truck your new repair shop! These people are honest, fair and always stand by their work. My daughter took her car to a mechanic shop in Manchester and they told her she needed almost $1,000 worth of work! I told her to bring it to Northeast Auto because I knew they would tell me the truth about what her car needed. THE CAR WAS ABSOLUTELY FINE - It did not need ANY of the work they told her! Please - save yourself money and heartache. Make Northeast Auto your new repair shop. It'll be one of the best things you do for yourself! It is located right off of Rt. 2 in Marlborough, CT.
