The price for 4 used but seemingly good tires balanced and mounted was quite reasonable. The tires looked good. At least 50 percent. Probably more than that. Steve is a very nice man. It was an excellent experience. Thumbs up
A hidden gem in stratford, Steve is a great guy. And always does a better job than could be expected. Ive used his shop for years and have sent dozens of people to him... don't let the location of the shop scare you

I have been going to Steve for years. He's always open, extremely reasonably priced, works quick. He will put on tires that you buy offline or from his inventory. Tires are new or used, used tires are great shape and last years.
Hands down the most polite man you'll run into. I go to Steve's in Stratford from other cities I'm in cause he's nice and has great prices and gets it done right the first time. Hard working older gentleman

Very rude and poor customer service went to get used tire low tread understandably so being it’s a used tire tried to negotiate price and just rolled tire away and muttered under his breath and continued doing something else like I was not there went to Barnum ave and got a better tire will never go back again and recommend no one does not about the money but the principle of how rude he is
I've been going to Steve for about 13 years now. You just can't get better prices anywhere.Especially when you buy in large quantities (I used to flip cars). I cant tell you how many times he had a strange size or could get them in a couple of days (older Buick Regal and Mercedes AND tires that were pretty much brand new). One set of Firestone Winterforce snow tires still had the little rubber hairs (those spiky things/sea urchin tips?)
All my vehicles and family vehicles ride on his tires. He works hard,Honest, stands by his work and super fast. He even has oh so many used rims for just about anything (I think I saw a set for a Conestoga wagon).I bought 6 used rims for my cars so I could keep a set for winter (2005 and 1997 awd Astro Vans)4xsnow tires and 2 for the under body spares. Absolutely amazing! Steve had me in and out - my 2 boys were fascinated by what he was doing and he took the time to talk them through it, and talked with them the entire time. I will definitely be back!
Steve's is a great place to get used tires. The tires are great. I would recommend if you don't want to go to spend the money at Town Fair Tire ,Steve's is the next best thing.
Today I went to Steves to purchase some tires. I have to say it was a wonderful experience. He's a great guy and very helpful. And I definitely will be using him in the future. Couldn't ask for better service. He had us in and out quickly. Loved how he had a conversation with us while working on the van. I recommend him very highly. And his prices are great also.
