We came here today to pick up my daughters car. The people were nasty and not knowledgeable. They asked for paperwork that doesn't exist and do not know what they're doing. We blew over six hours to pick up a car that should have taken 5 minutes all over them being nasty, not helpful and giving us bad information. Only after the two staff left later in the day did a nice women help us. The environment is toxic and the people are nasty, including the owner. Sad, they're a big company and in our back yard. Never again will we use them, stay away and choose a friendly, knowledgeable alternative.
came to pick up my car after being towed. brought a dealer plate, as the registration was expired. they requested ‘additional paperwork,’ citing that they could not release the car without it. when i asked what exactly they needed so i could obtain it, they said they weren’t sure. the staff were extremely rude. when they came back fifteen minutes later with a list of the paperwork they needed, it was a slew that i have since validated is not legally required. do not waste your time or money here.
My car got stuck in the mud in an off-road area, and I repeatedly asked the workers what the price would be before they started towing me. Each time, they avoided giving a straight answer — pretending to be busy, talking on the phone, or simply ignoring the question. At no point did I receive a clear number or any explanation of the costs.
The tow itself took less than 10 minutes and only covered a few short meters to reach the road — and at the end of the job, one of them told me that “in the best-case scenario,” it would cost $5,000. I was completely shocked when I heard that number — I didn’t know how to react or what to do at that moment.
After that, they said they were taking the car to their storage lot until the rental company would pay. I refused to leave the car there, as I already had a strong feeling that this was being handled in a manipulative, high-pressure, and non-transparent way.
When we arrived at their lot, I was directly told that if I wanted to get my car back right now, I’d have to pay $1,275 on the spot. It was a clear ultimatum — either pay immediately, or I wouldn’t see my vehicle again. I paid the amount under pressure, even though it was obvious that the price was excessive and I had no real obligation to pay it.
Top notch company. Got in an accident out of town, 350 miles from home. On Columbus day this place got us put back together so that we were safe to drive home. Price was fair for the repairs. Towing seemed high but then I have no reference. Plus they completely cleaned the interior and exterior of our SUV.
Through a comedy of errors my 3 kids got locked in our minivan and I was left outside with out my phone or keys. The gentleman from Modzelewski’s who came to help was so kind and quick! He treated the situation with more urgency than the police officer and within a minute I was in my car and able to hug my babies. They have found themselves a customer for life.
