I was looking for somewhere to drop off an old hot water heater I just replaced. It couldn't be any easier than going to Iron Ridge Metal. The employees were all polite and friendly and the process was straight forward and efficient.
the auto salvage was amazing but the recycling part was horrendous with price what should have been over a hundred in scraping price was barely over 40. they have the worst scraping price I have seen very disappointed
Showed up to get a fender at 3:00 PM. They close at 4 but the exit gate was shut and people were being turned away. When my group approached the lazy workers said theyre closing early cause they didn't feel like working. A whole hour before their schedule close time, and I called ahead for my part and they never said anything. Garbage experience, I clearly need to go elsewhere.

I don't know what happened but this place is complete trash now. I've probably dropped loads off 20+ times over the last 4 years. The last year it's been nothing but a nightmare. I called ahead to donate a third row seat, which they said yes to, only to turn me down on site. I brought some electronics to scrap, which I've done many times, turned down on site. The attitude sucks. Thanks for wasting my time over and over.
Called to try and find a vehicle for parts. They had one available. The gentleman was promt and polite. Arrived to pull parts and was turned away since I had my son with me. There was no sign on site or notification online about no admission under 16 years of age.
The only problem I have is I drive all the way here with my pos vehicle because I need the money and they're closed . Almost every time I'm so over it itsays open until 4 then was informed hat they stop taking people at 345. I roll in at 340 and nope already closed. So what time exactly do you close? Not that it matters because I would rather drive to Denver or wait until Andersons is open than waste my time coming here again. It is ridiculous. I worked in the restaurant industry for 20 years and never did any restaurant I worked for ever have such random stop times. If we closed at 8 and someone walked in at 759 guess what we served them . Not that we liked it not that we still didn't have work to do to get out of there but we served the customer according to posted operational open times period and then we did our closing duties. As has every business I know of except this one. You won't see me again. Enjoy your time off. I'm adding onto this I guess as an update. Well I was mad mad mad when I wrote this but I overreacted in my review and just want to say that all these guys really are great and I have no problem with any of them or the business. I should have waited until I calmed down before reacting with a bad review and now I feel stupid. It dies still irritate me that the closing times are random but all in all this is a great place to go to search for parts or to recycle metal and they will still have to put up with me from time to time !
I called around a few junkyards and this place had the cheapest quote for what I needed by far. Great deal, seemed easy to maneuver between cars and the whole lot was gravel so no mud!
Holy price gouging batman. You pull the Junkyard part then drag it to the counter and they charge you more then you could have got it from rockauto. Tell me a used rotor is $12, new it's 7 on rockauto x2 is now cheaper new shipped then a pull and pay. Never again.

Do not bother selling or bringing any scrap metal to this place. Offered $1.oo a pound of copper when it’s going rate $3.55 nationally and more in Denver. Absolute ripoff and joke. Please call other places
Traveled all the way from longmont a 40 minute I get here at 2:20 and it literally rained for about 5 minutes on the way here and they used this as an excuse to be lazy and close early. Then I called several times to see what was going on and 5 times they answered didn't say anything and hung up on me. It wasn't until the 6th time someone answered to say they were closed. Terrible customer service and honestly terrible business ethic whoever mad that call today is a terrible manager who should get a pay cut for closing because of 5 minutes of rain.
Very good it's a pick a part location where you walk through the cars removing what you need. They also will get what you need so you can come and get it at the front. Cars were laid out according to the manufacturer, started with Ford, GM, Chrysler then the import stuff. It's a new facility so everything is clean with plenty of space between each vehicle to walk through and space to open the doors. Prices are affordable I got 2 alloy wheels with almost new tires for $70. Highly recommend this business, the people are also knowledgeable and pleasant.
BUYER BEWARE SCAM WARNING: the Thieving scam artists that work here will not only keep the parts you pulled that you're trying to purchase FROM THEM, but they will also steal the parts you purchased WITH RECEIPT PROOF FROM ANOTHER SALVAGE YARD that they conveniently "didn't see" while inspecting your bag at arrival. They barely glance at your possessions at arrival, yet go through with a fine tooth comb when departing setting the perfect scam operation to steal your parts and keep their own, all while claiming that it's not their responsibility to maintain accountability for their own unethical business practices. SHAME ON YOU IRON RIDGE FOR STEALING FROM HARDWORKING MIDDLE CLASS AMERICANS. I CAN ONLY PRAY YOU DISCOVER ETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES TO PROTECT YOUR CUSTOMERS FROM YOUR SHADY WAYS IN THE FUTURE.
Very clean and organized pull and pay salvage yard. Had a a good amount of inventory also. I recommend going here over similar yards such as the pull and pay in Denver.
Great yard but the bald dude has an attitude problem. I purchased all kinds of stuff from them and one of the parts had chewing tobacco in it. I couldn’t wait three days for them to open up so I returned it after I already went to AutoZone and they didn’t like it. They didn’t want to clean out the chewing tobacco out of the tank. I just purchased an 800
dollar trailer from them and they get upset about 20 bucks. Unreal the guys at Anderson are way better. Go to Anderson any day if you get the chance. We buy 300 To 500 a week at Anderson no issue. I would love to go to iron ridge but my guys don’t need to deal with attitude.
Great place,work bags are welcome but it needs to be empty (except tools) all rows are by make you need to go and walk the lot I asked about a GTP transmission but it was not in the system it was miss labeled as a base model grand prix so don't just go off the inventory on the computer prices are online and are reasonable I just wish they would give u a little bit of a discount for buying a engine and transmission together bathrooms outside in yard as well
It's a lot better than Anderson Anderson act like you're stealing from them just one guy there that will check you out and act like a cop and he will threaten you intimidate you so don't go to Anderson salvage
Absolutely love iron ridge and the 3 great guys that run it. What a great team they have . The yard is clean and organized. It's nice to have an Andersons yard near loveland. Seeing that I live and run my business in loveland it saves me tons of time and i look forward to shop clean up day so can take our scrap to iron ridge. ....keep up the great work boys ...
