This is my go to place. It has changed from the last time I was here but the folks are always accommodating.. they have also added more products in the show room to help out the oil field folks I will always come back.
I bought a bell-housing for a Ford F700 5.9 Cummins. These guys were fast and courteous. But most important was I got the right part. It came very well packed and clean. The 1st place I now look for used truck parts is Active.
If I can not easily get it in Canada then these guys are my first call in US.
This place is a junk yard for semi trucks the guys at the counter are very friendly with good customers service but the prices for use parts honestly they are a little high you can get a new part for almost the same peice. And you have to wait quite a little bit to get your parts if they have it
Don't judge book by cover outside front of place looks like a salvage yard.
On the inside it's neatly arranged, there is variety, they have new items, price was very good for part I needed. Overall worth the trip.
After my experience with the owner or whoever was there while I was purchasing a camper from someone else on the property I would NEVER recommend anyone to this shop. The guy was super disrespectful and as the old saying goes one bad comment leads to more then one good comment.
Honestly im very disappointed. I purchased the engine and when it arrived 3 days later we found out the motor was locked.i called them the next day and they were able to send me another one.we made sure the motor wasn't locked again.but after getting it installed we notice antifreeze leaking .found out it had a Damm cracked in the block. Unbelievable..even if it has warranty I'm just wating thousands of money in just labor.rather not waste my time with them and just move on and take a lost .
When looking for cab specific, not the place to go. I go out look for the part, take a picture this is what I need. Then they come back with something else.. I should have just walked away. It's like going for a peterbilt door and they come back with a freightliner door it's from a truck... But the last time I was there I did get the right part. Just a hit and miss kinda place..
Active truck parts the employees are nice the stuck to there word when they said they would check for a part an call me back the next day they did and the part was good. Only thing on the parts is they will not budge on the price. I bought it because I really needed it an brand new it would of costed me $600 from them it costed me $300 and a week after I bought a installed the park I was In a junkyard found another of those parts well I bought that one too an it costed me $21. But all in all they did have what I needed and they are why I got back on the road for half the price of new
I got a radiator shipped to me and paid for it to be installed and it instantly started leakit'll be started leaking I contacted them and they are telling me that they may give me a partial refund for the order but not for the freight Before I ordered the radiator they promised me that it was pressure tested and this was definitely not so I would not and will not do business with them ever again I'm going to have to wait a long time to even get a partial refund and have to put the money up for another radiator in the meantime. All while this slows down my business.
These guys are unethical crooks. Spoke with a guy name Ryan (crook) quoted me $50 for wiper panel off a 25 year old truck. After the price was agreed I payed for the part, Ryan calls me two days later after part was shipped and tells me the shipping was more than he thought and would need to charge my card for another $37. Needless to say I cancelled my order and will find the part elsewhere.
Do not trust this company they are unprofessional shady crooks. Don’t waist your time speaking with a supervisor because they are conveniently never available to answer questions & take responsibility.
Great parts place for big trucks! They've been in business there 42 years. Very friendly staff, Ryan was very helpful getting the right parts I needed and Lou was great to wheel with at the front desk. I definitely recommend for any big truck parts you may need!
Extremely poor customer service, was treated very poorly by John after having multiple issues with there parts. Prices are terrible, so were the quality of the parts I received. I will not go back or recommend them. Expect to be sworn at, talked down to and treated like a thief. I would leave less then a 1 star review if it were possible.
I recently purchased a used part from Active Truck Parts. The part in question had a fair amount of cosmetic blemish, and I took the part back to discuss with the company. I was shown the door and told I bought a used part and should not expect new quality. While not enthused with the answer I got, the way in which it was delivered left a lot to be desired. I mentioned I was planning to write this reciew, and walked out the door. As I was getting in my truck, the manager flew out the front door and demanded that I mentioned that I was “a f*%#&$,! d!*#!” in my review. I asked what I had done to be called as such, and he again ranted about me buying a used part. Customer service doesn’t seem to be a strong aspect of their business.
Great place for any and everything truck related. It's not a 'you pull it' yard however so getting small odds and ends is somewhat difficult unless you talk to the right guys there.
