I've been taking all of my cars to B & L for at least 12 years. I try other shops but always end up at B & L because they do excellent work and fix things the first time around! And their prices are a couple hundred below other shops in the area. Honest and excellent work!!!! My hope is that stay open for a few more years!

They charged me $50 to change a fuse. They used the fuse that was in the extra fuse panel. They also didn't check into the other things I was trying to find out about the car, like the reason the fuse blew. Probably look elsewhere if you can. They're kinda scummy.

Service and price were fine, but I discovered later that the front tire installed was a mismatching diameter compared to the others. Thank goodness I never used 4wd or my drivetrain would have mangled itself! This is specifically something I'd trust professionals to catch. Now I'll have to be that much more paranoid in the future and certainly can't see myself trusting my vehicles to this particular shop

Step back in time and see what an old time tire shop was like. These guys are very kind and do a great job. And the price is very reasonable.

I am very disappointed with this business. I brought my car in with a loud noise. Was told it needed a timing chain and pulleys which would cost at least $3000.00. I took them for their word and as I couldn't afford the repairs, ended up financing a new car. Well because I love my car so much, my fiance got a second opinion. My car was drained of transmission fluid and oil, which I tried to give the benefit of the doubt that maybe it was from the inspection. However when he found cut hoses in the car that were perfect before, I was very confused and frustrated. The person we went to got my car running without replacing timing chain or anything, only the hoses that seemed sabotaged. I thought the prices here were great. I'm sad that this happened but won't be bringing any more vehicles here. Plus now I've heard many bad stories about this shop. Highly recommend going elsewhere.

B&L is a spectacular shop. They treat me like family every time I give them my business. They even helped respond to a roadside emergency I had with immediate and responsive towing service (through their partner, Brad's Towing). I could not recommend B&L enough for your auto repair, towing, and tire needs. Brad and Laura go out of their way to take care of their customers. They fully embody what it means to be a citizen of Frederick.

Had a bolt in my tire that needed to be removed and patched. Another tire shop refused and tried to sell me new tires without even looking at it. B&L got me in quickly, got it patched and aired up my tire in about 40 minutes for $20. Super friendly people too. Will definitely be bringing them other repairs in the future as well.

Took my vehicle in for a leaking AC system and the price was very reasonable. 2 months later the problem came back. Went back to B&L and they figured out the root cause and didn't charge me labor. What an honest way to do business! I will definitely come back here for further repairs.

Recently brought my vehicle in because I had a coolant issue that I could not figure out. The guys at B&L took my van for a day and diagnosed a weird issue I was having with my radiator. Although I wound up replacing the radiator myself, I never would have known the issue without their help - and they were fast and honest about what I needed. I also had an oil change and new tires installed and the service was great. I would come back when needed and would recommend them to others.

Super fast, super reliable. So glad I had my truck towed here when the alternator went out in Firestone. Truck was completely repaired in less than one day. Thanks for the help! If I lived closer, this would be a great shop for any repair!

These folks are great! Had some front end issues arise. They got my truck right in and had me up and running again in less than a day! Very honest people. Very affordable. Definitely found my new repair shop!

I have thrown a lot of work their way, mostly because they are not a big chain. That being said, I purchased a brand new set of tires from them 2 weeks ago. This morning I got a flat. I took the tire back to them and they charged me $10.00. I guess they needed the $10 more than they need my return business. Very disappointed.

Very sweet staff! Treated me wonderfully. Had a tire sensor light on they filled my tire and checked all the other tires as well for free. will use them again in the future!

These guys are awesome. I took my truck in to have my brakes redone in a pinch and they quoted me 575 for everything. They had it done in 3 hours from the time I walked in and the final bill was over 100 bucks less than the original estimate. Fast, friendly, great, HONEST service. B&L has my business from here on out!

Visiting from out of state and had a concern about my tire I needed taken care of before my trip home. My sister recommended B & L as they have always been fair and honest with her.They had quick, friendly, and great service!

Great people to work with! They get you in as quick as possible, show you exactly what they think is wrong and why, then do their best to get a quick repair done. They are a busy shop, but I've never had to wait an unreasonable amount of time. They charge fair prices for their work and the work is done well! We try to do most of our own repairs at home, but when it's out of our hands (like when my husband is out of town) we take our cars here. I highly recommend them. I'm not a huge fan of the stereotypical mechanic, especially those who take advantage of the public's general automotive ignorance. So, I don't give my recommendations lightly. My Dad is an honest mechanic but lives too far to help out in a pinch, so I know an honest one from a dishonest one, and I can tell you I trust B&L's diagnostics and work.

They sold me the wrong tires for my truck! Not even rated for a 2500 truck! Had a blowout on a road trip, luckily no one got hurt. Poor service. Even had my truck there for a week before they told me that they don't even do that kind of work on diesels. I do NOT recommend them at all!👎👎

I highly recommend B&L to anyone who needs a great local mechanic. Their customer service I think is incredible and their prices have always been the lowest out of the other places I called in Frederick/Firestone. My first time using B&L I needed a tire replaced. The dealership (where I usually get my service done due to a maintenance program) quoted me about $125 more for just the tire than what B&L did, and the dealership also told me it would take them 10 business days to get it. B&L was able to get my tire ordered in the next day. The second time was for front brakes. Again, B&L came in about $150 less than the dealership was quoting me, and they where able to get me in right away, even while being short staffed. It can be scary finding a place to work on your car that you can trust, and I am glad I went to B&L.

Went in to have 2 new tire's put on, thought I would have to drop off and come back... they did it immediately! Excellent customer service. We'll be back for sure. Great price too!

Took my 97 outback in for over heating, they checked over the entire engine for cheap. Problem persisted took it back and they looked it over again for free! Haven't had any issues since I've taken it in! Very good customer service, they let me know what was happening with my vehicle throughout the course of it being there! Fairly priced for a repair shop nowadays! The mechanics are trustworthy and prices are right! Bob was the gentleman that worked on my car! They also run in partnership with Brads towing, if you need a tow give Brads towing a call! Thank you B&L!! You guys rock!! And I'll be returning to this shop for future repairs!

Small, family owned and operated business with great customer service. I went in for a slow leak in my tire and they quickly found the piece of screw that was the culprit. Friendly and fast service. Highly recommended.

We've taken all of our cars there for various items and never had an issue. My husband gets quotes each time from several places and they come in lowest. The repairs are done as expected and we've never had any issues with them keeping our vehicle too long. I'm taking our Toyota minivan in to get the struts done and I'm not anticipating any issues.

These guys were able to correctly diagnose a humming noise coming from my car above 30mph. I previously took it to Automotive Import Doctor in Longmont and the misdiagnosed the issue as a bad transmission. When I took it here for a second opinion they stated it was actually a right rear wheel bearing making the noise. These guys saved me 3300 dollars (the difference in cost of a rebuilt transmission and the cost they charged me for parts and labor). My only issue was it took them 2 days to fix the car. I would rexcomend these guys to anyone in the tri town area, the price was fair and they know what they are doing.

I used to trust Brad, but either the mechanics are idiots or there scamming people these days. I took my vehicle there for steering issues, that said the rack and pinion was shot, it would be $1200. I got a second opinion, they replaced the bushings, a little over $100. I had B and L look at my A/C, they said the compressor needed to be replaced, $800. I went and got it fixed for $100, it was just the belt. I no longer trust these guys, and will not return.
