My Jeep broke down on I-70 and Shane stopped to assist. He went above and beyond to ensure our tow went well. He let us use my AAA and took us to a car rental facility and stood by until we had arranged for a rental so we could continue our trip. He is a roadside angel.
Justin is the best! He went above and beyond to get our van started up in the ridiculously frigid temperatures. I called and he was at our house in 15 mins. Highly recommend this company and Justin!

As a passenger of a service from Ryan's recovery, I would like to give the biggest shout out to their recovery driver Lucas. Our friend called him out to recover him after sliding off a snowy road. Lucas showed up to a far location within 15 minutes and pulled him out with ease. During that time another vehicle got stuck and Lucas pulled him out in short time as well. Wildly enough when we left in a 3rd vehicle, the steering went out and Lucas had no problems loading up our vehicle to take back to town. As a manager of a 24hr road side commercial tire shop, I could not ask for or request a better technician to add to my team. Lucas and all other road side techs (tow and recovery especially) do not get the thanks they deserve. Thank you again Lucas, I hope your company recognizes you for your excellent service.
Thomas…… is hands down the best most professional and kindest tow truck driver I have ever encountered. I broke down in the mountains and the hunt was on… multiple tow truck drivers started stopping to “check on me”…. However, Thomas was the only one who wasn’t trying to push me around. I was so pleased that in the end Thomas was the driver that AAA called. When Thomas arrived he already knew I had my “child/puppy” with me and he informed me that he had already made a bed on the floor with blankets for my pup. Much appreciated and I hope the owner of this company truly realizes he has a diamond with Thomas! Stay cool Thomas and thanks again for your help!
I can’t say enough good things about Justin, the driver who helped us out on the I70 outside Frisco, while traveling for the holidays. Justin helped our family of 4 with a dog. He shared concern and empathy for us on the side of the road and was fun to converse with on our drive to Denver. Thank you Justin!
Needed to get towed out when I slid off the road and got stuck. Kyle with Ryans recovery did one hell of a job he was patient explained everything and got me out. exceptional service. Helped us on Hwy 70 when we were stuck on the side of the road with a loaded trailer and no power to get up the mountain. He helped us twice and found a safe place for us to unload trailer and another to work on truck. We would not have made it period if not for him helping us and then to come back to help us again was what I consider a great service! Thank You Shayne! You were kind and professional and a hero!
Dennis was amazing. He pulled over when he say us on the side of the road and tried to help us fix the car and then gave us a tow when we could not. He was helpful, patient, kind and very safe driver.
After thinking our vehicle was repaired in Idaho Springs we started up the mountain only to have water and steam begin to pour out the hood!! We pulled off onto a pull out and were just beginning to access the problem when Vald pulled in behind us. He calmly helped access the problem and soon Shayn drove up. They were able to arrange towing us back to our home! We so appreciated how courteous, calm and professional they were- they handed everything and we are very thankful for their excellent care of us!! :)
Lucas saved the day. When our rental car wasn’t safe to drive he brought us a new one and returned the unsafe vehicle. He was very busy but rushed to help us so we didn’t have to wait as long as the rental company said we would. Lucas stayed in touch to clarify some confusion and keep us informed. We got a flat tire on our way up to Vail. We were planning on having to wait for at least half an hour but Shayne from Ryan’s Recovery came out within 5-10mins! He drove us to a safe place where his co-worker Marco came (we needed a bigger tow truck to transport our family of 4) to the dealership. Shayne and Marco were both professional and so kind, helping us to get to a repair shop quickly, but safely, so we could continue with our trip.
Car was overheating on the side of the road just outside of Silverthorne, Shayne saw me and pulled over. He was extremely helpful and called his other driver Justin to come pick up my car and I was able to get it back home to steamboat springs. These guys were great, the fact that he saw me on the side of the road and stopped to help without me calling them says a lot.. very appreciative for there assistance.
Absolutely the most amazing service ever. I lost a wheel on my 35’ trailer on I70 and needed a tow. I couldn’t get anyone to help due to the size and those that offered wanted to charge an outrageous amount of money in my time of need. While I was on the phone with the insurance company, Shayne rolled up and said he could help. He figured out how to make it work and he got me to a repair shop by the end of the day, which by this time was day 3 dealing with insurance and the vulture tow truck drivers waiting to pray on people passing through. Shayne and Ryan’s Recovery was the only company that would help me and not take advantage of me. I could go on and on how awesome this whole experience was. I would call them again any time I needed towing help. They are honest, trustworthy and offer a fair price. They went over and beyond to help me.

The day before I was to leave for Arizona, the taillights on my car in the garage came on. I tried to figure out the issue reading the manuals. Fun. Of course, by morning my battery was dead. I called AAA, and Thomas with Ryan’s Towing in Silverthorne, Colorado, was at my home in under 10 minutes. Thomas immediately quelled my panic and assessed the issue. He believed it to be an electrical issue after giving it a jump and that would be only a temporary help. He loaded it on the tow truck and drove it to the Nissan Dealer in Golden, 60 miles. Within an hour I received a text from the dealership stating they hoped it could be a fuse issue. You can imagine the horrors running through my head before his text! Fingers crossed! My gratitude to AAA and Ryan’s Towing is immense. What if this had happened on the road to Arizona!
I made a huge mistake yesterday taking my car up to a trailhead off guanella pass on a dirt road with snow that turned into ice when we were done hiking. We made it down the majority of the road ourselves but we felt we could not make it safely down without losing complete control and possibly flipping my Rav or going into a tree at the very end of the road with how steep it was. We were stuck in that spot along with another car that made the same mistake as us. I was able to call my insurance thankfully since I usually don’t get cell service up there and Ryan’s guys came out and they were unable to get up to us safely with their truck due to the ice as well, so they walked up and helped guide us safely down. It was terrifying but they gave us the confidence to help get us down safely. I was super appreciative of how nice they were and didn’t make us feel dumb for my really stupid misjudgment I made taking my car up there. Lesson learned!
Very pleased with their service, we were headed west on I70 towing our 42' 5th wheel, when our truck went into limb mode, we were sitting on the off ramp, wondering what to do, when Shane showed up. He and Quentin got our truck loaded on the back of their roll off truck & hooked up the 5th wheel, got us back to Denver, took us to the RV Park, pulled it right into our site & took the truck to the dealership for repairs. Best service we've ever had or even heard of!! Thanks Shane & Quinten!

Shane is amazing from Ryan's!!! As well as the other 2 drivers were so professional and courteous. They were more concerned about our safety on I-70 near Vail pass. They accept AAA and I have had AAA plus since 1980. Which gave me a 100 miles of free towing all the way past Denver. Ryan's Towing is the safest, best and most reasonable price of you don't have AAA. Don't get ripped off by another towing company on I-70 ( the black and orange) Mt. Towing. We got a flat on vail pass. Shayne and Thomas got us back to Denver safe and sound, really quickly. A worrisome situation with my 6 yr old daughter along became very stress free with how kind and sweet Shayne was. He took us to Thomas in Frisco who then got us home. Thomas was equally kind, sweet and accommodating. We were so grateful for them and grateful to be home safe and sound.
We were on our way to a wedding 4 hrs away from home. Shayne from Ryan’s Recovery saw us and was so generous to pull over and help us! I had an EXCELLENT experience with Ryan’s Recovery. I was stranded on the highway while the first tow truck company I called broke down. Shane from Ryan’s Recovery pulled over when he saw me to see if I was okay. He helped me call my insurance company and assign the pick up to him. He gave me loads of information on AAA and their affiliation and worked quickly to get me back home. 10000000% recommend to anyone!!

Tyler was my literal life saver getting my car down from being stuck off a 4x4 trail 12,000 ft up. Today was quite the day!!! Thank you to Ryan’s towing and their expert hands for keeping me safe and returning me back home after a 160 mile tow from the mountains back to the plains of Colorado. Nothing quite like your brakes going out on the downhill side of a mountain pass. Thank you to both Shane and Marco. I absolutely cannot thank you enough for getting me back home, safe and sound. You both went above and beyond your call of duty today/tonight. I will be forever grateful to you both. Hoping not to see you again- but when duty calls- I know for sure who I will trust.
I wish 10 stars was an option. Having lack of experience driving on icy roads resulted in hydroplaning off the road into about 2-3 feet of snow. Tires were completely buried - no way to get out without help of a tow truck. Thankfully enough, my partner and I were blessed to have Shane from Ryan’s Tow Service show up. Not only was he able to arrive within 30 minutes of us being on the side of the road, I’d say about 15 minutes of the 30 was spent trying to identify our location because we didn’t know what mile marker we were closest to. He did not get frustrated, he only continued to come up with solutions. While on the phone with him, I gave the phone to a firefighter who responded to the scene so they could talk and lead Shane straight to us. From the time he arrived until he towed us to a safer location than where he found us, he didn’t stop smiling. You can tell this guy loves what he does- he helped my partner and I in more than one ways! He turned a really stressful situation into a situation that seemed like a breeze once he arrived. Thank you Shane and thank you Ryan’s for hiring people like Shane!!!!!!! God bless!
