This towing company went above and beyond allowing me to stay at an Airbnb while I was stranded in Colorado Springs past operating hours in 38° weather. They were super helpful getting me and my car home safely.
I have used All Mountain Towing and Recovery for three service requests for AAA and I will say that I have gotten better from them than AAA themselves, and I say that as far as communication. AAA has sent out All Mtn Towing & Recovery for two tows and a lockout and Zach has been professional and helpful all times and gotten to all types of service in amicable time. Great service and communication with All Mtn Towing & Recovery supersede’s all expectations of towing and recovery services. I would high recommend this company to anyone needing these services.

Long tow from Buena Vista to Colorado Springs. Cole was very professional, arrived earlier than expected, was a very safe driver, and very personable to chat with for the 2 hour ride. Would definitely recommend this company very highly.
We got a flat tire with no spare on 4th of July weekend in a semi-remote area. AAA got us connected with Alita who was very pleasant on the phone. She gave us an ETA for a tow and provided other resources as well for transportation. Cole arrived sooner than expected. Cole went above and beyond to take care of us! I found my tire off my rim early in the morning and the lug nuts were seized and I couldn’t get them off with the tools I owned. I felt silly that the only service available to me for a tire change was Hartsel but Alida the dispatcher and Don, the mechanic/tow man who showed up were not only friendly and kind. They were efficient, very informative and continued with phenomenal customer service and communication. They were so nice about driving all the way to Leadville for a tire change. Highly recommend this team of people for any roadside needs!
Here is why you should hope you never have to deal with this company:
I wrecked my car last Thursday after hitting black ice going 60mph. Pretty bad accident (I am okay!) and had to be ambulanced to the hospital. All Mountain Towing handled the tow of my car.
Later that Thursday, when I spoke with a customer service rep at all mountain towing about my car, they told me that they could ship my license plates to me (given my insurance was picking the car up for a review on if it was totaled). The rep told me (and my insurance) they would call me shortly to coordinate logistics.
5 days later, having not heard anything from the towing company, I called them back. The service rep I spoke with this time told me that they did not take my license plates and that they could not help retrieve them (after the car was already taken by the insurance company). They offered no help and basically told me I was SOL.
The service rep I spoke with was very rude, blamed me for (1) not thinking of taking the plate off my car after my accident and before my ambulance ride, (2) for not knowing about a niche law that prohibits towing company's from taking anything out of or off of the cars they tow.
I explained to the service rep that I relied on information that was previously told to me from their team, and her defense was that "it was that employees second day". She then hung up on me.
I also spoke with my insurance and they told me that the car was not picked up until yesterday.
So in short: All Mountain towing gave me wrong information, sat on it for 5 days without calling me back, then blamed me for something that was clearly a result of improper employee training and poor management of a situation.
Luckily towing companies don't have to win customers!
Yesterday was terrible -- my car slid off a snowy road into a tree. BUT! All Mountain Towing was amazing! It was Sunday, but the staff were kind, fast, and Shawn The Amazing Driver not only showed up EARLY, he ALSO knew how to deal with my EV (not typical for towdrivers), AND ALSO dealt with my post-crash dog in the car AND ALSO allowed an extra pitstop for us to move belongings from the crash car to another. Thank you all for your kindness! You were a bright spot in a tough day.
I had an amazing experience with these guys! Back in late August I got a flat 2 hours from Denver with no spare :/ Krissy I believe was her name..lovely lady helped tremendously over the phone and I couldn't thank her and I believe Zach was his name who towed my car two hours to Denver. I couldn't thank them enough! What a wonderful company! Thank you guys! :)
5 stars for this company! I ran out of gas near Hartsel....and my insurance company's roadside assistance was unable to help. Along came an angel named Crystal Boyd to the rescue! She drove into Hartsel and returned in no time with a can of gas. I don't know what we would have done if she hadn't come by!

My truck broke down in twin lakes and they showed up within the hour. I had my dog with me and the driver let him sit in the cab with us. I cannot thank this company enough. The dispatcher even gave me recommendations for shops in town. The driver also offered me a ride to the parts store. Absolutely wonderful people and they made a tough situation just a little bit better with their kindness. If anyone from All Mountain is reading this, thank you all so much.
We were at a Jeep Club event in Buena Vista and our Jeep developed an electrical problem and would only run intermittently. Unfortunately the Jeep was also our tow vehicle to tow our trailer back home to Grand Junction. We called AAA and they called out All Mountain. Their driver Zack came out and did a great job getting our Jeep loaded and hooking our trailer up. He dropped the trailer off at our house and the Jeep off at the shop. Zack was very helpful and personable and it was a pleasant 4 1/2 hour ride home. I found that their pricing was fair and that Crystal in the office did a great job organizing things so it happened quickly and efficiently. I can't recommend All Mountain highly enough.
The biggest shout out to Beth and Kohl today!!! We broke down right outside of town and called AAA after a mess of getting set up for a company. Beth reached out and assured me they were on their way! She even gave me many numbers for an auto shop to have the car looked at. I couldn't get ahold of anyone before Kohl picked us up, but he was able to find a shop to look at it and tell us what was wrong. Because we could get parts, we were going to have it taken back to our home town 200 miles away they worked with our aaa to get it covered and even are waving the fee to hold it overnight for 2 nights and get us taken care of on Monday! They even dropped us off at a hotel so we could get a room while we waited for our ride home. I can not express the appreciation I have for both of them, and making a very hard, frustrating day go as smoothly as it could. Good people and good companies do exist!! Thank you guys again!
When our van broke down in Salida a week ago, Chrissy on dispatch was our guardian angel working through red tape with AAA to cover our tow. John was our fellow NC buddy on the 3 hour tow to Denver. All of their professionalism and expertise helped guide us and make us feel comfortable rather than stranded. Thank you All Mountain Towing for not giving up on us! We made it back home!
Cannot say enough to express our gratitude to this company. I have never had to use a towing company before and my son’s car broke down in the middle of nowhere. When I called for help, Chrystal, not only helped me, but she stayed on the phone with me and helped me get signed up for AAA. This was a painful process but she stayed on with me the entire time and helped me navigate that process. This saved me over $300 in cost. The driver (John) even came to pick me up when I was walking back to our vehicle and offered to drive me back to where we were staying. I scheduled the tow with AAA in advance to have my non-drivable vehicle towed from my house to a repair shop. All Mountain dispatchers contacted me several times to keep me up to date regarding the status of the service. In spite of a heavy blanket of snow the night before, the driver arrived on time and delivered my vehicle in time for the scheduled appointment. Driver Jeff was courteous and professional. Very satisfied.
They towed our vehicle after an accident. The response was quick, they were extremely professional and friendly. Beth even tracked down our garage opener and arranged for us to receive it. We are impressed. We sat for 2 hours waiting for our insurance company to connect our case with a towing company. Ultimately, they told us we’d have to wait overnight on the side of the highway. HUGE shout out to Jordan for all of his amazing work. After a flat tire forced an overnight in Buena Vista, he arrived exactly when he said he would the next morning. Picked me up from the hotel and drove to the car, then got it loaded in less time than it took for me to get my coffee order!
He was incredibly courteous, and got me and my car safely to Gunnison. No easy feat driving over Monarch in a huge truck!
