Decent place but they really need to put someone in the inbound scale house so we know where to go, as opposed to having to block the scale, walking inside to ask someone where to go, then getting attitude for blocking the scale. Wouldn't that make more sense?
I googled this place for metal scrap and says it's open. But, when I hauled truck load to this place it says it's closed. It's a waste of time,wear tear and wasted gas traveling 150 miles.
It's a turn down for the day ??

Update again:. Just double checked prices, 36 lbs of aluminum isn't $1 while 35 lbs of cans is $11 and total is $13.
Edit: this isnt the first time I was shown a price and charges something well below even half..today it was .75 cents a pound and I was given .25 cents.
I took in bright yellow brass 1.50 a lbs!!! and was given .60 cents a lbs because they said it was dirty brass!!! Somebody should do something about this ripp off!!! How many people have they done this to and how long!!?? I'm not even going into the copper I took in too!!!
Good bunch of guys. Had fun joking around while there. They made it pleasant to basically be at a high class dump. haha Got $5 to drop a fridge off there.
The people were pretty prompt and it was fairly easy to get in and get out and the pricing was reasonable for my scrap metal I would definitely recommend this place for anybody who is looking to get rid of scrap
