I needed a hybrid battery pack for my Escape and located one at a competitor in GJ. Drove two hours to buy it and they were closed during posted open hours. No calls answered. Called Whitewater and they had one! They let me take it apart and sent a guy out with the forklift to help me get it to my truck. And the best part, it cost me just a bit more than half the other outfit’s quoted price. Back on the road. Thanks!

After dealing with a not-so-honest shop (and still currently dealing with), it was a true breath of fresh air to get truths and guarantees that stand up to judgement.

Great service and awesome deals. I have dealt with Whitewater Auto Salvage and 28 Road Transmission for 3 years now. Recently my truck broke down and I needed to get back on the road to Utah. They made my truck a priority and got me back on the road within hours. The kicker was they didn't even charge me cause it was a simple fix. We need more people and businesses in the world like this.
We have had nothing but friendly service from Leah, great prices, and over the top care for each of our vehicles since we have come here. This is our go to Grand Junction car repair shop. Repairs do take a bit longer, but you can plan out your schedule to accommodate for that very easily.
DO NOT TAKE YOU VEHICLE HERE! I dont even no where to begin husband took his jeep here they were supposed to fix the harmonic balancer and engine and transmission mount along with a pinyon seal. Picked the jeep they said they broke the radiator so they had to charge for a new one 149.00 my husband let that go then halfway home it started making a very bad noise got up to discover there was not one single drop of antifreeze in the radiator. Called them they said bring it back so it took it back there response as to the noise and no antifreeze was when they replaced the mounts it made other bolts loose so that was the noise it was making and the reason it had no antifreeze was because it was a air bubble in it. Okay now he just noticed that the front of the jeep has been wrecked the plastic on the bumper is broken the grill is loose ... So my guess is these people wrecked the jeep and that is how the radiator got broke. So warning do not let these people touch your vehicle.
This is absolutely the worst auto shop I’ve been to. Not only did they break my gear shifter and not take responsibility for it, they also broke my radio and when I picked up my car they had been using it as there own personal trash can as they threw leftover lunch wrappers, and fries, etc in the back seat and passenger side. They will never answer the phone and I had to take it to them FIVE times before they almost fixed it the way there were supposed to the first time I CAN NOT STRESS ENOUGH NOT TO GO HERE EVER
Leah is always reasonable on prices. They work hard. Build good transmissions. They do what they say they will when it's supposed to be done for a fair price. I'm still calling them first.
Not the friendliest or most helpful place. Sign on the door directed us to the yard. While in the yard we were confronted by someone who was less than polite telling us we needed to check in at the office. Went back to the office to find a lady who had walked right by us on our first trip to the yard. She was somewhat helpful, but didn't really seem to care if we found what we we're looking for or not.
Phenomenal customer service!! Whitewater went out of their way to find me the correct driver's side window after getting shipped several wrong windows from different Auto Glass companies. I have quite a collection! I live in Portland, Oregon and was leary about receiving yet another wrong window - which would have put my total at 6...like I said, quite a collection! However, after joking about the amount of windows that were piling up at my house, they sent a picture of the vehicle said glass was being pulled from. To my excitement - it was finally the correct one! They definitely did not have to do that; especially since I asked a zillion questions and felt like I was annoying them (I was promised I was not!)They were more than happy to answer all my questions, and were incredibly helpful! They even found me another part I was looking for. Thank you, Whitewater Auto Recycling for going above and beyond!
Bought my old "eye soar" of a truck for a fair price! On time and very polite! took less than 10 mins... And I am sure my neighbors were Pleasantly Surprised!!!... Just Awesome!!
these guys are the best!!!! Didn't have the exact part I needed but they found one that they could use and may even installed it for me I would recommend these guys to anyone I hope their business flourishes he also has a wonderful collection of miniature cars quite the museum but wonderful service
