It seems every time I need something for a vehicle buying it online is way cheaper than buying it from this junkyard they are ridiculously overpriced prime example was looking for a side window for a 92 Jeep they wanted $65 I found it online for $35.99 $51 after shipping and taxes

What an awful business and very poorly ran. The girl Kenzie in the office that I dealt with was not only incompetent but extremely rude. My boyfriend had gotten a windshield for my car from them we went to put it in my car and it didnt fit, unfortunately for us the evening we tried to put the windshield in was the last day on the warranty which happened to be a Friday and they were already closed. So ended up having to buy ANOTHER windshield that was on us. I called to see if they had the CORRECT one and she said there was one at their rifle location I told her I would call back after I looked a couple other places. Needless to say I ended up having to buy it from them when I called back to order it I double checked the info was correct because I didnt want to get the wrong one yet again. She assured me it was the correct one and repeated the info back to me, everything was correct. And told me it would be there on Tuesday (it was thursday) because it was coming from Delta. But when I read the order form it was NOT the right info for my car and I knew that if thats what was ordered it wouldnt fit my car so I called to make ABSOLUTELY SURE they were getting the correct windshield for the correct model we went over the info and what she relayed back to me was correct. I then asked if i could just go pick it up in delta rather than be carless over the weekend again waiting for it to be brought over. She said just call and let them know if I did that. The next day (friday) I decided to go get it. Got it home and went to put it in and ITS THE WRONG WINDSHIELD AGAIN! By this time its too late to call so I wait till monday and call to tell them it was the wrong one. The VERY FIRST THING SHE SADI WAS "WELL DID YOU GIVE US THE WRONG VEHICLE INFORMATION?" I told her "No I actually even called to double check you had the the correct info you said it was right" she told me to call back with the VIN so I did and she proceeded to argue with me telling me that I had told her that it was the classic model and that I didnt relay the correct information. Which I made clear multiple times that it WAS NOT the classic model. She said they had one in rifle they could hopefully get here by tomorrow. 20min later I get a call saying the one in rifle is no good and to bring the one I have in and they will refund my money.
This has hands down been the worst experience I have EVER had purchasing a part for my vehicle. I will NEVER do business with them again. The customer service was unbelievably awful. Ive never had someone try to gaslight me so hard in my life.
I DO NOT RECOMEND BUYING ANYTHING HERE UNLESS YOUR LOOKING FOR A GIANT HEADACHE AND TO BE DISRESPECTED WHEN THEY MESS UP.
Extremely rude staff. Front desk said to go see the guys in the back, guys in the back saying the people up front are stupid and don’t know what they’re talking about. Didn’t even allow me to explain what I needed as they were directing me back up front. I have been here before never to get anything accomplished and always terrible customer service. Will not ever go back even if they have the perfect part I’ve been searching for.
Bought a Radiator my boyfriend went down to pick it up for me. He. ask if they tested it to make sure it was good They never looked over it. All they said was it was full of Antifreeze and that it was good and I had 30 days to return it if anything was wrong with it, My boyfriend told him that if anything is wrong with it It’d be a big waste of time cause it takes time to pull a radiator out and replace it and to make sure that that part was good got it home took out my old radiator. Glad I re-looked it before putting it in, and It had a crack very noticeable took it back with my receipt. The lady told me it wasn’t there. I had the receipt right in front of them. I was there for a good 30 to probably 45 minutes before they can even give me a refund Never thought it would be such a pain in the butt to return a defective item back to them even with the receipt The guy that pulled it didn’t even put a part number on it so I suggest if anybody wants to buy any kind of items from them or parts. Make sure that they put a part number on it Because they will act like it never even came from them Even with the receipt right in front of them, I will never buy apart from them again
I can't say enough about this place or the people who work here. Their prices are reasonable and the employees are great...I was traveling and needed a fuel filter or I couldn't continue due to the fumes from the raw fuel and my safety. They by the grace of god had 1 bmw and it matched up perfectly. Louie pulled the past from the old car for me and I had to replace it right there in the parking lot. It was 110 outside, I had no tools and they let me use whatever they had available. After 3 hours of frustration Louie at the end of his day, had the fuel filter back in the tank and I was back on the road. No more gas fumes . A huge thank you to Louie and the whole staff. I recommend them to anyone.
these folks very helpful, got my part within 20 minutes of my arrival, let me install the part in their parking lot, asked if I needed help, then helped me diagnose an issue.
I went in looking for a tiny fuse box for a robotics project. The people were amazing and went far out of their way to help me. Unfortunately, I was unable to find a small enough box.
The staff did everything they could to help. I will definitely go back when I have automotive needs.
If you can't find a part,, someone could possibly find it here. The staff are ok. Short and to the point. It has a 2 rating because they charge to much. It's a salvage yard. No reason to sell part for close to brand new parts.
Great service, Needed a mass airflow sensor asap, dealer was $275,Cleaning it no longer worked, kept getting low power and check engine light, called trade center and they said they had one in stock, was not sure if I was going to buy one from AutoZone or napa, napa was over $120,Trade center was $45,with a warranty showed up,they told me about 15 mins to get it from the inventory, went to lunch came back, they had it ready at the counter, very good condition, swapped it out in the parking lot,took the old core back in, truck runs like brand new and no more check engine light. Older gentlemen at the counter was very helpful and gave me some very solid advice on why my original mass air flow sensor likely failed, and recommend I get rid of my oiled air filter asap and get a factory paper filter to keep the new/used senor clean and problem free.
Took his advice, with the new paper basic oem air filter, I have had zero problems and truck has a lot more power and no more check engine light. Super happy with service and they saved me $70 over the parts store, Will be back if need other parts, highly recommended, very nice people at the counter, they actually care about there customers and their vehicles.

I've worked at a few junkyards in my day but to be told this is not a junkyard by the old guy at the counter lmao. I want factory speaker because they sound better than after market. Was told they would lose money selling them to me which made the other list of parts I wanted not worth getting here. These people only care about big money. Total waste of time every time I come here. Drive to Delta, or spend your money elsewhere. It's sad because people out here have no choice.
This place used to be the go to spot for used parts. Don't get me wrong they still fully test their parts and sell good parts. The big thing that changed is they no longer have ANY give on their prices. Example is a tail light assembly for a 98 Ford. Their price was DOUBLE the price at one of the Auto parts stores. It was very easy to confirm that it wasn't an online deal by simply calling and pricing that store. They wouldn't even match the price of the new part at the store with their used one. I get not wanting to match Amazon but not matching or beating new parts at a local shop is suicide for an used auto parts yard.
Horrible service was charged almost 800 dollars for a tow 1.5 mikes to their lot and because of them being closed because of Christmas they charged extra storage. I couldnt get any sooner because I was in the hospital. The cops ended up getting called because i didnt want to leave it there another minute. Then they said they wernt the ones that wrecked my truck. Do not use these people on purpose. Unfortunatly they can make their tow truck payment off one customer during Christmas. Even asked for a veteran discount and do not offer.
Be prepared for an uninviting atmosphere where the sign behind the counter - “can’t fix stupid” - pretty much sums up the employees attitudes towards customers. If you walk in with the mindset that this can be a humorous experience and picture yourself in some comedy movie where you are the dimwit in the scene, it could be quite enjoyable!
Giving 2 stars instead of 1 because the man at the counter figured out for me that I didn’t actually need to replace the part I was looking to replace. So he saved me lots of time searching for said part and money.
After leaving a place like this I always ponder on how these type of people treat close friends and family, if they have any, and how many years it might take to deteriorate into such a miserable existence. Surely at one point they were happy. Next time I’ll choose another business unless I’m needing a laugh or if I’m down and need to be reminded that there are much bigger a$$holes in the world than me.

Excellent source of used car parts if your on a budget and need to repair your car. Definitely won't blow you away with customer service or patience for the inexperienced home mechanic. But at 1/3 the price and 3 western slope locations I will go every time I need a car part or want to recycle and get paid for it.
Grumpy old men. Loved it! All I wanted to know was their return policy, but they were too grouchy to tell me. Later I read on the invoice that it's return for in-store credit only. Just a heads up. The GOBs are pretty funny, though.
Too bad I can't give negative review. These men were extremely rude after they sold the part I prepaid for to someone else. They firmly refused to return the prepayment. Doesn't that sound like stealing?
I'm used to cranky old men, I actually enjoy older folks' company much more than my own generation. However these were the rudest guys I've ever met. Don't treat me like I don't know anything, I may be a young woman but DO NOT treat me as if I'm inferior. I was raised around buying, fixing, and selling cars. No need to beat a dead horse, I know what I'm doing. Thanks. The lady was nice though. From the looks of it these old men could care less about bad service, since they are replying with snide remarks to reviews.
I do NOT recommend DOING ANY BUSINESS at this location!!! The employees are extremely RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. Quit possibly the WORST business I've ever stepped foot in. I am literally still in shock at how TERRIBLE these people treated us.
On a brighter note, DAVE'S SALVAGE YARD is an awesome choice for your business, I would HIGHLY recommend them. The staff were super FRIENDLY HELPFUL and PROFESSIONAL. They actually went out of there way to help us with the parts we needed and prices were good as well.
Absolutely DO NOT recommend. If I could give zero stars, I would. I went today to get a window for my vehicle and while I was getting what I needed, things were stolen out of my vehicle! (I was only there a max of 15 minutes). When I informed staff, they told me they couldn't do anything and supposedly do not have cameras. I think that is so weird that they don't have cameras especially with all the car parts that they have that are worth money. So does that anyone can just go, take and resale?! My vehicle was parked and they saw nothing?! Weird. I honesty do believe it was one of the staff members. If you need parts, please go elsewhere or order it online!!!!
I would give Zero stars if I could. They shipped me an engine that was full of rust and debris. I've been trying to get this returned for almost a week now and I'm just going in circles. Last week I ordered an engine for a Mazda, when it arrived, we pulled of the parts they recommend replacing with a used engine. Upon removal of the water pump, rust and small amounts of debris where in the engine. I can only assume that not all the fluids were drained from the engine, causing this metal deterioration, even though the engine comes with a tag saying all fluids have been drained. I wanted to exchange this engine for another, but Trade Center only had the one. In that case, a refund would be great so I can buy an engine elsewhere. We sent pictures via text message to whom I am only assuming is a secretary. She replied with "Wholly Cow! It shouldn't look like that!" via text message. They offered to refund the engine only after they receive it, leaving me in Limbo until I get my money back. On top of that, I am supposed to pay the freight to send it back. $150 to me and then $150 back to them. So I'm out another $300 until they can determine if the engine is "Bad enough to consider refunding me the freight." I have called 3 days now trying to reach some resolution. On the second day, one guy told me that they wont refund the freight cause "We will just resell the engine when we get it back". I informed him that was unethical business practice to sell an engine that knowingly wont last long. He informed me that it has "good" compression so it will run just fine. On the third day, I got ahold of the owner, Ray. Same circles as before, only this time, Ray laughed at me and told me "I have better things to do". He proceeded to hang up on me not once but twice. When I called the third time, he left me on hold for one hour and thirty one minutes before he picked up the phone and hung up.
I went here and had to get leaf springs for my truck, they had em shipped from rifle and were a decent price. I really like coming here. Never had an issue, I love the older gentleman that works the desk he's awesome. The new owners are really nice. No issues here and bc of them my truck is up and going.
