Scott went above and beyond to hold my hand and help me buy the correct parts for the DOD/ AFM delete on my ‘11 Sierra. He took the time with me to quickly answer questions even on his days off (my fault, don’t do this). I did the repair and had him tune the truck, it’s runs great for a work pickup. Will be back for more tuning in the future! Thanks again!
Had a high end build done by another performance builder on my 4.6l 4v motor, wedged in a 1968 Fairlane. Never got above 180 whp. Took it to Scott. He diagnosed the issue and performed a partial rebuild, saving most of the good components. This was a 3 year father son project. Scott went above, taking the time to explain everything to my son...and myself. Motor is now great, he even re-tuned it to pump gas from E85 for the cold winter days. Scott also was on call as we started up the motor answering our question. 5 Stars all the way for performance and customer service.
made an appt 3 weeks in advance. scott told me my work would "take 3-4 days" 1 week passed and i had to call them to find out what was going on. was told "a huge problem with a current car was delaying them, but my car was next". another week went by, and i called them back. (they never initiated contact). same story, delayed by another car problem. said he would have it ready in a few days. told me he was "going to work on it all weekend even sunday to get it ready. his friends car broke down and he was unable to get mine ready. finally he told me it would for sure be ready on the 4th of july and it was. i went to pay the 2nd half of the $5000 agreed on price (he wanted half down) he told me that he had quoted me $5500. if it was 5500 why did he accept 2500 as half payment? i was lied to many times about completion times, lied to about the total $ amount. he was supposed to put a new under carb spacer on. (did not). and i then asked for an estimate for a trans switch (as a test) and he has never called me back. just cant believe a few days work took 23 days, cost me more than agreed on and didnt even include the $30 spacer agreed on. never again
Scott and Ryan pulled the 283, built in 57, from my 54 Chevy pickup and rebuilt it. They could not be more knowledgeable and dedicated. They did what was necessary and kept me informed throughout the process. They each cared about the engine and truck and that is reflected in their work.
This is the guy to use for your for your performance needs. Family guy, straightforward and honest. Total professional. Which is rare in this day and age
I was let down by many many shops, taking my car back and forth having them try to tune it correctly. Finally found a very good and reliable source. I can't say enough good things about automotive performance. Just got my car off the dyno and it runs absolutely amazing! I would definitely say if you're tired of waiting so long to get things done, and wanting professionalism then you have finally found the right people. Wonderful people very kind and extremely professional.
Scott and his team are awesome. I got a 91 tune and an ethanol tune. Very knowledgeable place that does amazing work. Definitely would recommend this shop even if it’s far. Very happy with what was done to my mustang.
spent about 40k on a new drivetrain etc, now spending having to redo every single thing over again, from day 1. Just really disappointed. Complete crook. Lied about everything. Paid for a new engine put an old one in. Work was so bad that car was unsafe to drive. Paid for a new ac doesn’t work and come to find out nothing was really done to it. Fuel and oil leaks everywhere.
Worked with Scott for the past 2 years and even from basic bolt on, pump gas to now even E and nitrous, ive never been disappointed. Even as an NA car it rips and i can take on alot of big boys with spray
Well what you read on Scott's reviews are true, Scott helped me beyond what anyone else would ever do he helped explain to me what's going on with my car and made it into a whole other animal. I brought him my 2014 Mustang GT500 and was not disappointed, if you ever need anything for your hot rod your first call better be Scott at Automotive Performance Center, i know mine will. Scott found big power left on the table from my basic tune. Woke the car up to a whole new level. He also takes the time to educate you on how to understand advanced tuning and mechanics to make your garage built car even better.
Was recommended through a Facebook group and was not disappointed!!! We took our 73 mustang in there with a decent amount of mechanical issues making it not run correctly. Scott was awesome and found the problems and fixed them all!! Kept in contact updating on all the findings, and with the Dyno brought out the true horse power! Definitely will be back and highly recommend.
Scott has been hands down a savior when it came to my 67 Mustang with a fuel injected 351w I built. I had another “performance” shop in Wyoming do the install and wire it all up and it was never correct. Initially Scott was going to Dyno Tune the car and get it running correctly. After a few hours of extra work for other problem areas mechanically, Scott fixed them all and got it running amazing. Down to earth shop, great knowledgeable guy, worth the 4 hour drive. My projects won’t go anywhere else!
Scott and the people at automotive performance center did a awesome job on my mustang they have installed many aftermarket part upgrades and a great place for dyno tuning. Very friendly and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend them Thanks Scott.
Scott is one of the best mechanics I've ever known he knows exactly what he's talking about he is also one of the best tuners I've ever seen great place to have your car work done if you want to go fast
