S&M Repair and Towing provided phenomenal service! They answered my call quickly and were so friendly. Michael gave me a very fair quote to tow our Chevy Express 3500 1-ton van and our small travel trailer.
Drew showed up quickly. He was incredibly accommodating, even letting our entire group—two kids and two pets (dog, cat)—ride along. He loaded the van and towed the trailer behind, making the 200-mile trip quick and easy. Drew was so professional and courteous, and was a total sport about our old smelly mini schnauzer.... Thank you for being so helpful. We enjoyed riding and chatting along the way. You guys are the best, thanks for being there when we needed you.
I do not recommend using these guys. I had them replace the entire fuel system on my service truck, it took them three weeks longer than they quoted and they had absolutely no communication, I had to call them four times a week to find out what was going on. I didn’t even make it half an hour down the road before it blew all the coolant out of the system and the engine got hot because the lines were not hooked up properly. The next day it was leaking fuel all over because they used low pressure lines for a high pressure system. After I repaired that six of the injectors were loose and leaking and they broke one of the clips off the return line, so it popped off and the truck died on the freeway and I was stranded once again. Now fuel is spraying out of the fuel lines that come off the pump, it left me stranded yet again on the side of the freeway in Texas. I had to pull the entire intake system off just to find that every electrical plug they took off, they broke the clips on them and more loose fittings, as well as bolts. I now have to get the truck hauled five hours to shop that knows what they are doing. I wish they told me that they were not qualified to do the project instead of going to school on my dime.
My family and I were stranded on the side of westbound I-70 just past the Colorado border, and S&M Towing truly came to our rescue. Both gentlemen I spoke with were wonderful — I believe Michael took my call, and Dylan was the one who brought our car back to us.
I was a nervous wreck, but they answered all my questions patiently and made me feel completely at ease. Even though Dylan was finishing another job, he still got to us quickly and safely delivered our vehicle all the way to Cheyenne Wells (about 40 miles away).
In the middle of the chaos, it was such a relief to have them take care of us. We’d absolutely use their service again and highly recommend them!
Gus, you da man. We had a blowout on 287 5 mi north of Eads Co. We have a 24 foot class C motorhome. And it was 9pm on a sunday. He came to the rescue and flawlessly loaded our baby and unloaded it. Reasonable price and fast. Thank you!!!
These guys are literal miracle workers, I strongly recommend them for any lift or tough task. Michael in the office provided top tier customer service and again, they are miracle workers (see photos)
At the end of May, I was fortunate to cross paths with these wonderful gentlemen. I had a beer load that needed to be reworked (rearranged) so I could be legal on the road. These gentlemen, quickly figured out a solution and reworked the load in record time. These are some of the most kind and professional men out here doing what they do. I am grateful for the opportunity to meet them. I highly recommend, they are great at what they do and extremely nice. Thank you gentlemen!
Trying to get home, got a flat tire and Gus drove out over an hour to pick us up. He was prompt, helpful, and friendly. So grateful and thankful for him and S&M Repair and Towing LLC.
S&M Repair and Towing really helped us out. Our Navigator broke down on the side of the interstate with our 3 kids in the back. We had somewhere important to be for our son and hitched a ride with a friend...leaving our car stranded. We were able to keep moving with our day all while S&M handled the car. They were really great with communication and went above and beyond to make sure our car got to where we needed it to go to get repaired. The service was excellent and quick. We felt really grateful for that.
These guys are the best. My tire fell off on 70 around 414. I tried to change the tire but was literally positive I'd be splattered as the cars were going so fast and so little flat space. Even if I could jack it up enough, the tire rotation 4 days ago was so poor I needed 4 days of work and had my dog, luggage, everything stranded.
Roadside assistance through insurance said that it would be 2-3 hours. I honestly wouldn't have made it that long I don't think I was so close to the highway. Scared, angry, cold and worried about my dog and my life I called the local company. Price was fair if he could get to me in 30 mins, I really thought I'd get smashed.
He made it in 20 and happily let me put myself and my car in his truck. I felt safe again and could think. He helped me plan everything out, waited while I checked into the hotel before dropping my car off and was such a good person.
Burlington has been nothing but great to me and I'm so thankful for y'all and everyone here. Ive met so many people recently and am bad at names the young gentleman who served in the military is just an overall really good man and I appreciate his help a lot.
AAA towed my car here for repairs when it suddenly stuttered and died on the CO/KS border. I was frustrated when the next morning they told me they actually don’t do repairs, just towing. They weren’t able to help with my vehicle, but they really came through for me where they could when I needed help so I’m still giving 5 stars. Thank you guys!
On our way home from Colorado and blew a tire. Called S&M Repair and Towing they drove an hour away to come pick us up. Gus was helpful, reliable, and all around a great guy! Thank you so much for your help!
The guys who work here are great. They were extremely helpful, polite and considerate when my car was stranded in the snow on a desolate County Rd. Being from very far out of town, and slightly scared, they helped me with my problem attentively and made me feel safe in the process. Thank you all, again, your professionalism & hospitality was an unexpected comfort.
On my way to the Topeka Ks area, pulling a 6’x12’ Uhaul enclosed trailer, driving a 99 CHEVY K1500, my lower ball joint snapped 2 to 3 miles out of town past their exit. I have Triple A but didn’t want to wait on them to get towed and their description said they were a 24/7 tow and repair shop, they only tow out of this shop and their sister shop works on semis.
They are not affiliated with Triple A but with help out with high volume calls.
Anywho it was 6ish pm on a Saturday 10/28/23. My balljoint snapped and I didn’t want to be stuck on the side of the road for the night with weather rolling in. They were able to get to me quickly like I wanna say 30mins, maybe an hour. We disconnected my pickup from the trailer, got the pickup loaded up on the flatbed, and they hooked up to my trailer. I asked to go to Goodland which I though was close just looking on the map, it’s an hour away and they would’ve changed $300, vs going back to Burlington to the Quality Inn which only charged me $150.
Long story short they were able to offload me, my trailer,and my pickup in the parking lot of the Quality Inn, safely and with no damage to anything that wasn’t already damaged or broken. And due to my situation I was going to make the repairs myself, so I asked if I could get a ride to Oriellys to get parts, so I wouldn’t have to walk all the way there and back, and since it was kinda on their way back to their shop. I was able to hitch a ride to Oriellys to get the specific parts and tools for the job.
My pregnant wife and I ran over something on I-70 that deflated one of my rear tires nearly instantaneously. 1/2 inch hole clean through the center tread of the tread. This wasn’t my first tire change so I got after it, until, I was stopped dead in my tracks trying to remove the plastic lug nut caps that Audi installed over the lugs. No tool for this in the tire kit, thanks Audi. After Audi roadside couldn’t find me any assistance I called around and I was directed to S&M. They sent someone out immediately. While we were waiting we McGyver-ed a solution to pull the caps off with my shoe lace. Not that this would have got us very far, the spare was nearly flat. As we got the spare attached the guy for S&M arrived and filled the spare with air. No charge because ‘they didn’t do anything’, I argued we owed them. I was unsuccessful in submitting a payment. We couldn’t be more thankful for your help today. Thank you 1 million times! Highly recommend.
I was traveling East on I-70 when my car completely lost power, was able to coast into a hotel parking lot in Burlington. USAA would have taken HOURS to get there. S&M was there in 20 minutes. Gus was super friendly and helpful. Really appreciate him as I’m 2states away from my destination. Thank you so much Gus, for making a difficult day easier with your friendliness and encouragement!! He towed me over to Grants.
Hands down the best experience I have ever had with a tow company! My family was picked up within 30 minutes of calling. Gus, the driver, was so pleasant and helpful. The rate was fair. The cab of the tow truck was so clean and smelled good. If you need a tow they should be your only call!
On our way home, we encountered some tire issues on the trailer. Lost both right side tires. These guys came out and got us hooked up in no time. Gus got us to a tire shop for some new tires. These guys were awesome. Thanks again to Gus and Nathan for all your help.
Picture this: 6am going 75mph east bound I70 my suv’s driver side rear wheel decided it didn’t need to be attached to my vehicle anymore. After a leftward jerk and some loud grinding I managed to pull safely into the center median. After a quick inspection it was very clear what happened. Three of my 5 lug bolts backed out and the remaining two snapped off. I drive a luxury SUV so, no spare and run flat tires meant I was Stranded.
S&M answered their phone immediately and without hesitation sent a tow truck to fetch me. Again, luck was on my side as I was only 10 miles from Burlington. A half hour after my call Gus showed up and rescued me. Gus was friendly, knowledgeable and easy to work with.
Gus took me to the local body shop, that I’ll review next, they got me in immediately, examined my vehicle and determined the damage was minimal and that I could continue on my journey.
After hitting a deer at midnight on the way to vacation in Breck, from Illinois, Gus from S & M came and hauled our vehicle back to Burlington and was the most helpful guy at the worst time of mine at the moment. He was friendly, helpful, kind and got us where we needed to go. A+++ service Gus!!!
When you start your morning or with a flat as soon as you get on the highway, Chances are it's not shaking yup to beat great day. After waiting a couple hours on my roadside assistance, I was referred to them by a passing state trooper. I called abd they were there in under ten minutes and had me back on my way quickly! Friendly and professional service fort an out of town traveler!! Thank you!!

AAA left me stranded on I-70 saying they couldnt find ANYONE to tow me. I called Nathan at S&M and he was there within the hour and had our 27 foot RV towed to our location without any delay. Call these guys when you need a PRO.
Gus was our driver and he was a stud. We had hit a huge chunk of exploded semi tire and it did a bunch of damage to our minivan and Gus was timely, professional and understanding as we dealt with this problem nearly 2.5 hours from our final destination. He was easy to work with and we didn't have to wait long at all. I recommend this business without hesitation!
I have a huge lifted truck. My own insurance provider couldn't find me a tow service. Called these guys and within 30 minutes they arrived. They dropped my truck off at a local recommended mechanics. They also gave me a ride to my hotel.

Absolutely amazing crew here. I was driving from Oklahoma to Idaho on a Friday afternoon when my Land Rover broke down a few miles outside of Burlington. The issue was a bad fuel pump, and my only option was to get to Denver to a Land Rover dealer to hopefully get it fixed the next day and back on the road. S&M didn’t hesitate for a second about my request to be towed to Denver and picked me up within minutes of my call. We made it to the dealer just before they closed, and I got a loaner vehicle so I could at least get around while stuck in Denver. My car was repaired the next day and I got back on my road trip. Everything worked out as well as could be expected all because of S&M’s quick action and great service!
Thank you for your accurate timing and fast, professional service. Your service made all the difference in our ability to get our tires fixed and get back on the road to continue our family vacation. What started as a mini disaster ended with us arriving at our destination safely and avoiding the added expense of a hotel night.

Our truck hit a deer and had the radiator damage. The truck was not drivable, and I called S&M Towing. They rescued us in no time and brought to their repair shop. The next morning they have ordered all the necessary parts and quickly fixed all the problems.
I want to thank people who work there. We were dealing with Rod, he was extremely polite, friendly and professional! The bill for the tow and repair was very reasonable as well!
