Thank you to the kind and very efficient men who helped pull our car off a snowy mountain causing no more damage than was already done. They were kind, friendly, knowledgeable and very skilled.
D&J pulled my jackknifed truck and trailer out of a snowy ditch and got us down the hill safely. They were fast, easy to work with, up for a challenge and very friendly and helpful. 10/10 would be towed by them again if needed!
Was broke down on a not great part of 285, hardly a shoulder, then up hill from there, on a curve, in a rain storm. Jeremiah was there super quick and was so nice in a stressful situation. I really appreciate him. Thank you so much!
D & J towing helped us in big bind the other day. They were there and got us unstuck in 30 minutes after calling. Super friendly and how quick they were was a blessing!
We were in an accident on a snowy and icy I-70. Jean the dispatcher and Joe the truck driver were excellent. They both were so accommodating and eased the stress of a traumatic situation! They gave us great advice and great service!
this is a really good company, i’ve had my car towed by them like probably 4 times at this point, brady and all the other guys are always so nice definitely would recommend!
Terrible towing company. I have worked with them a few times and each time the customer service is atrocious. The company will not go up a driveway that have snow on it. The company is in a mountain community. Most driveways will be on a hill and will have snow on them in the winter. They wouldn't tow the vehicle. On a different occasion they informed me there were no keys in the car and the door was locked. Upon inspection the keys were under the floor mat where they had told us to leave them the day before and the door was indeed unlocked.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME trying to get service from this company. More likely than not, they will leave you stranded and in need of finding a different tow company.
UPDATE: D&J responded that they did complete the tow for me. The SUV was in fact not towed. This was indeed the case on two separate situations. The situation with snow on the driveway was an issue with a car where the brakes went out on the vehicle. Clearly, I could not drive the car down the driveway with no brakes. The option to pay you to come up the driveway was not provided to us. We would have gone that route if that option was provided. Completely understandable.
With my most recent experience, yesterday, D&J contacts me to complete the tow and indicated to me that they are closing in 20 minutes and can we hold off on the town until the following day, I agreed. I then informed the gentlemen that the driveway had snow on it. He requested I move the can to the bottom of the drive, so we did that. We placed the keys with the car and left the SUV open and the account was notated to such. I was contacted this morning by a female who informed us there were no keys in the car and the door was locked. Again, upon investigation the keys are there, the door unlocked and again, the vehicle not towed.
I respectfully disagree that my review is misleading or unfair. It is purely a fact-based review of the service we were not provided. As well as being left without a towed vehicle and the need to find a new provider.
If you say you are stuck on the side of the road and need a tow they will not come and help nor offer anything. Was stranded with limited service and finally got a hold of them and they could not care less because it wasn’t a situation they’d profit off enough. Do not recommend this place. The dispatch lady even told us to not try evergreen towing because she is the same representative for them and won’t even try to help. All it seems they care for is towing to impound so they can profit more. Maybe lie and say you need to impound a car and they might actually show up to help you
Edit: My boyfriend and I have no affiliation to Arvada (live in Littleton) we were not looking for a ride to there. We were looking for a tow to get a truck out of the snow about 35 ft off the road. Sounds like you disappointed someone else that night too
Made the best of a bad situation. They were able to help me out of a bind and change a large and heavy 35” tire when everyone else was closed. Can’t than you team enough, super nice guy and had all we needed to change the tire on a big lifted truck. Thank you very much for your help today!!
Unethical and Predatory Behavior This company took advantage of my elderly mother. She called for help with a flat tire, and instead of offering the most straightforward and cost-effective solution—like simply jacking up the car to remove the wheel and take it in for repair—they insisted the entire car had to be towed. This was completely unnecessary and shows a clear lack of integrity. I can’t trust a business that preys on vulnerable individuals instead of providing honest and reasonable solutions. If you value honesty and fair treatment, I recommend finding another tow company.
My car would not start so I called AAA. D&J Towing took the job and were there within a half hour. Very polite, friendly, and did a great job getting me on my way. This morning that started out crappy ended up very pleasant. Thank you D&J Towing. I will definitely recommend you to my friends!
Wow!!! Incredibly fast and friendly service. I was super stuck. And D&J bailed me out! Steve (driver), was fast and fearless! Hooking a car on an interstate on ramp is not for the faint of heart. Dispatch was efficient and I only paid what I was quoted. If you ever need a mountain based tow, call D&J!!!
They were dispatched thru AAA, said they couldn't tow my car bc it was a wreck and would be "difficult to do" and they "need a winch truck" which their truck had. Tried to charge Me $300 and took my business elsewhere. Manager was rude. Tow truck driver was no help. Called another tow company & they got it out in less than 10 minutes without a problem with the same type of truck. Don't recommend them at all. Call Reed & Rush Towing instead
I can't speak about their services, but I will comment about their "friendly" drivers they apparently employ.
I would assume their drivers know when they need to yield to cars who have the right of way instead of bullying cars to get out of their way. Apparently the older man driving this morning forgot this while first pulling into the middle lane and then assuming I should either slam on my brakes or drive into the Ram truck next to me in the right hand lane just so he can continue to gracefully merge onto 74. The man then drove by me at the next stoplight screaming and flipping me off while he was turning and navigating through the intersection to clearly head to their place of business on Bryant drive.
I never leave reviews, but being a small medical business owner myself I felt motivated to do so. Maybe next time he should refrain from acting like a child while driving a company vehicle, and just drive how he is supposed to and what's required by law.
EDIT: After a year, D&J Towing finally checks Google reviews. Seems like they really care, huh?...
Why should I take time out of my day to call your business after being harassed on the road, to most likely just be harassed again over the phone by another incompetent employee of yours. I never required your business, nor did I seek out your business. You think I "owe" you a phone call, or need to help you correct your own employees? You somehow think that Google reviews are only here for your friends and family to leave fake reviews.
Here's a tip though, don't hire ignorant people. Oh wait, isn't this a family business?....
Lovely service. It was Joe’s first day and I couldn’t even tell! He was quick and took every safety precaution. Drove me all the way back to the city without hesitation. Felt very safe and very thankful.
I don’t normally leave reviews but the outstanding performance of D&J Towing exceeded expectations. From Carrie in the front office, Glen our wrecker truck driver, and the gentleman driving the flatbed were so helpful and professional. Glen went above expectations to help us. Thank you very much!
Jeremiah arrived promptly as arranged and did a textbook job getting my vehicle on the newer looking flatbed truck, making sure that he had hooked-up 4 very solid points of contact on the tow vehicle. He was very knowledgeable about his job and was informed about the body shop location and asked about the individual that I had been working with there. Jeremiah also discussed the condition of my vehicle with me and was very knowledgeable about the process from a mechanics perspective. I was extremely pleased with this experience and highly recommend D & J Towing.
Great communication. They were prompt and courteous. I have a lowered car and they handled it perfectly and no damage. I would not hesitate to recommend them or use them again in the future.
This company was called for us by AAA and they did a great job! They were prompt in calling to make arrangements to pick our car up. The driver was friendly and knowledgeable and safely towed it down the mountain to the shop requested. No hassles!
I had a massive engine problem about a 1/2 mile from my house and was able to get my car back to my house in one piece. I have basic AAA coverage which only covers 7 miles for a tow and the shop I needed to take it to was 10 miles away.
Tow truck showed up right on the estimated time AAA provided. The driver, Glen, who helped me out, was awesome and super considerate and also educated me about AAA insurance. He informed me about a different level of coverage from AAA that covers 150 miles for a mere $30-$40 bucks more. This 5 star review is more for him than anything... I’ve never used D&J towing but if they have more employees like Glen, I’d gladly call them before anyone else.
The guy who came out was amazing! Highly recommend them! He definitely made me feel better and just was so nice and happy and made me laugh, which is so refreshing when your car isn't working. Definitely great at making you feel better. Very professional, hardly any wait time, definitely could tell her knew what he was doing!
My car basically exploded on i70. I had my dog in the car and I barely was able to get my car to a safe spot on the side of the road. Not only did this tow company make me a priority and had someone to me... in the middle of i70 by Golden Colorado, but they went above and beyond during these pandemic times. They got me safely got a gas station and the gentlemen who did towing, was kind and respectful and went out of his way to make sure I knew I was going to be okay. Then they towed 70 miles for me. He called when he got there. Told me where my key would be, he even apologized for how my night went. I couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you. Use this company. My safety was their concern and that made so much difference.
An excellent choice if you ever need a tow. Our truck broke down on the first day of our honeymoon and D&J was able to quickly pick us up and tow us to a service center. The driver was super kind and made sure we were set before leaving. A great company all around!
bought a new-to-me RV and woke up to a dead battery. service arrived in under half an hour (and i was in a pretty remote spot) for a jump. super friendly and courteous. the problem ended up being bigger than i thought but the service man answered all of my questions, got me a fix good enough to get me to a shop, and gave me a lot of great advice. had me back on the road in less than ten minutes.
Absolutely fantastic! They rescued us off the side of I 70 during heavy traffic and made fantastic time doing it. The driver was incredibly friendly and professional with the car i call my baby. Strongly recommend this place.
Mark was super friendly and had my Subaru Forester on his flat bed really fast. Mark had a very busy weekend during the bad weather, but he was in great spirits and was so helpful. He got it to my mechanic on a Sunday so it could be assessed on Monday. I highly recommend and I’m very happy AAA uses D&J!
Having D&J's number just in case is advisable. Showed up, loaded, and out quickly. Price was very reasonable. I feared they may have under charged. If the quality of service I got is the same for every driver then they are definitely worth calling again.
I was pleasantly surprised by the great experience I received. They were there quickly and Brady knew what he was doing. I would happily use them again. In fact, put them in my phone contacts for future use. Thank you The dispatcher was quick and polite. That really helped with the coordination. They towed my truck and trailer together.
