Probably driving too fast for conditions and found myself in the ditch with a professionally lowered Audi A4. Knocked a hole in the oil pan and needed help. Called Martin knowing he could get the vehicle out of the ditch, on the truck and to my mechanic in Denver without any damage. As expected, Martin was able to do what I needed done in a professional manner. This process took an expected amount of time and exceeded my expectations. Will definitely use again!

Worst service they cuss you out for getting stuck and call you names depending on your race. If you're a non-white expect some racist people to help you and they will overcharge you if they hear an accent that's not from usa. They do not deserve even the 1 star I have to give so I can leave a review.

My car battery was dead and I needed a jump; they were super responsive and showed up on time. Very efficient and friendly!

Hilly is the best! Being a typical dumb southerner I backed my rented 4Runner into a embankment of snow and couldn't get out. Hilly came to the rescue. But that's not all. I left my wallet on the passenger seat of his tow truck... and he made a 45 minute trip to bring it back. Thanks again Hilly!

Martin saved our day!! We got our truck stuck in a mess of snow on the side of of FS 128. Although he was extremely busy due to heavy snow and increased holiday travel issues, he made it to us with great timing. The nature of the forest service road drop off and the angle of our truck as it was sucked into the drop off snow created a tough situation. Martin has been doing this for decades and his experience was invaluable, as he was able to efficiently pull us out of our predicament. Not only did he get the job done and get it done well, he also spent time sharing experiences, as well as best practices for avoiding these issues on mountain roads in the future, and managing them when problems arise. We're new to the area, so his advice was very welcomed! Knowledgeable and efficient is the combo that you need in a situation that requires these services. Martin is just that combo! I wouldn't hesitate to call him if you need a tow, pull out, or any other auto urgency services!

Slid off the road in a relatively low car and I unfortunately wasn’t there when they came to get it so I could coach them on how to take it out. I have lots of experience with towing low cars, and this car was EASILY pull able with limited damage but I come home to my car in my driveway and the front bumper completely ripped apart cracked and with extreme damage that was not there when it was off the road. It looked like they didn’t even try to keep it from damage. Sure they got it out, but if you have a car that has less than 4 inches of clearance do not call these guys. (The pictures are difficult to see and no I didn’t hit or run over any trees)

Requested a service to get my car unstuck from a small ditch trying to get out of the parking lot for work. The service came quick, however they do seem to be in the business of taking advantage, what was a 20 minute job to get my car unstuck cost me almost 300 dollars. I’m young and have very little experience with this type of thing so I thought it was normal at the time and, but ive come to learn that is far and way above what I should’ve paid. Especially if you’re new to the area or from out of town, watch out.

If I could give 6 stars I would! Hilly's completely exceeded my expectations. I got stuck in a ditch the day after Christmas and knew they would be slammed. I called and was told it was impossible to get help that day but then was told I could be helped in 30 minutes since I was on the way to other clients. Tow truck showed up in less than 30 minutes and my car was out in just a few minutes! Such a nice man that helped me out. Made me feel so comfortable and confident in his ability. Can't thank you enough, Hilly's!

This company is the worst. Our jeep broke down and when we called to ask about getting a tow, the man who answered the phone was going to charge us $1000 plus for a tow. We told him we were going to see if we could get our car to work and we would call him back. When we called him back, he never answered the phone and he didn’t return our call from the message we left. When you are in the business of helping people when they get stranded, stranding them further is absolutely NOT the way to conduct business. If I could give negative stars I would.

Martin saved us! I was two hours from home camping with my kids when my car decided it was done adventuring. Martin got us to a reliable mechanic. We are so grateful for his help.

My truck was dead in my buddy’s driveway where I was visiting in Winter Park. Martin was there within 1.5 hours of my first call and was a pro who had my truck trailered and headed to the mechanic very promptly. Competitive, fair price. I recommend Hilly’s

Martin, Martin, he's our man, if he can't tow it, no one can! Got stuck in a ditch after being pushed off the road by a plow last weekend. Called Hilly's, talked to Martin, who gave me an estimate, showed up within 20 minutes, and had me out and back on the road in 30. Really professional and knowledgeable. Hope I don't have to use them again, but, if I do, I know who I'll be calling.

Both my and my husband's cars started having issues and we brought them in to Hilly's for service. The owner was honest, fair and reasonably priced (so much cheaper than a Denver shop and he never tried to upcharge us on things we didn't need!). The service was completed the the same day. We are happy customers and won't hesitate to bring our cars back to Hilly's again.

I have to say I'm impressed. My son recently moved to Fraser and his car developed a fuel leak. He called not knowing much about the area or establishment. He told them his concerns and what he thought might be the problem, they listened and they got him in on the same day, got the issue fixed and out the door within a few hours. They even offered to give him a ride back to his place while they diagnosed the issue. Price was reasonable per hour and definitely beats driving more than an hour up and down the pass to the nearest Subaru dealership. Thanks for your kindness and quick response time to the issue. Being new to the area can be intimidating when having car issues and this shop pulled through. A big THANK YOU to the crew at Hilly's Hooker Service!

Well exceptional would be an UNDERSTATEMENT!!! Chris was nothing less than stupendous in advocating for us with our extended warranty company (extremely painful experience with the warranty co but NEVER with Hilly’s!). He fought hard in getting the right engine and turbo for the car at the price that was fair! He went above and beyond in the quality and service and honesty department and reassured us with a 12mo/12,000 part and labor warranty! This car has NEVER ran so quietly and smooth! Could never have asked for a better experience from a mechanic during our 2-1/2 month ordeal. Never pushy, never high pressure, very thorough, precise, expert repair and replace of the engine/turbo. Even the little things like wash the car and balance the tires before we picked her up and drove her to Kansas City from Fraser. NO ISSUES! RAN PERFECT! Thank you again Chris and Hilly’s for always getting back to us and fighting for our little Subbie’s life! Lolz

Car died halfway up the pass & I got ride into Winter Park. Had no idea who to call & called Hillys tow. They sent truck out right away & said they would have time to look at car when it got their shop. Martin picked me up & we got car towed to the shop. I thought it was a fuel pump but they figured out in about a minute it was a fuse. They took it for test drive & everything checked out. They even gave me a spare fuse. Best $45 I've spent on a car repair. Still had time to get to Mary Jane & ski some powder on a spring day.

My boyfriend and I were unlucky enough to get a screw in our tire after spending the night in a nearby town. It was a Sunday, we had a very long drive ahead, and absolutely no one was open who could plug the hole for us. We called Hilly's and even though they were closed, a nice guy answered the phone and offered to come in just to help us. He met us at the shop within minutes and quickly repaired our tire for us. He was a life saver! Thank you!

Stopped in to see if they could repair my tire, had a large bolt stuck in it and needed to drive to Denver ASAP. They paused what they were doing and had it fixed in about 3 minutes. The other place in town told me it was a 4 day wait!

These guys are awesome. I have used Hilly's several times over the last 10 or so years...usually for stupid stuff like locking my keys in my car at Spring Splash (2 years in a row) but this time I threw them a whammy and got my Jeep stuck on a snowmobile trail (for the record, they should clarify the "above snow vehicles" terminology on the signage) Anyways, Colin was amazing. Super easy to work with from the start - he was text-friendly and instructed me how to send a location pin. When we hooked up (no pun intended) the next day to get my Jeep out, he was prompt and KILLED it with the tow truck. As in driving backwards up a snowmobile trail for a mile to pull out a very, very stuck Jeep. He absolutely could have told me no way when he saw where I was stuck, but he didn't and I really appreciate it. Give these guys your business - they are absolutely the best in the valley!!

Excellent tow service & mechanic work! Brad was extremely knowledgeable about my Jeep, and also the friendliest tow truck driver I've met. Based on our conversation he is also highly skilled at off-road vehicle recovery, so if you get stuck on the trail he's the guy to call. They had me back on the road just 2 hours after loading the vehicle onto the tow truck, including diagnosing and replacing a failed sensor that prevented the vehicle from starting. I highly recommend this shop if you need towing or repair near Winter Park!

Tonight was our first time visiting Winter Park with my family! We were so excited that we went joy riding and end up getting stuck in some snow trying to turn around. What a night mare! Thank God they arrived quickly and got us out! We seriously had dug ourselves in deep! But... we are very grateful for Colin and This tow truck company! Our trip is not ruined by this. We will continue to enjoy the rest of our vacay.

I was stuck in snow with 4 young kids. We were out in less than 20 minutes from the time I called. Driver was friendly, fast and didn’t damage vehicle. Price was also very reasonable. I highly recommend.

A friends car broke down late Saturday afternoon. Initially, Hillys was too busy to service the SUV that day, but after hearing the story, Chris took the time to understand the issues, showed great levels of compassion and agreed to tow and repair the vehicle that day. When finished, he test drove the vehicle back to my house. I appreciate the customer service and your willingness to go above and beyond. It truly helped a friend out who would have otherwise been stranded 2hrs from home. Thank you!

3 stars for service. 1 star for price. Hence the 2 star rating. Their service was pretty average for a towing company. That is not why I am writing this review. The fact that I got charged $250 for them to pull my car out of the snow is the reason behind this rant. Their justification for charging that much was that it took them an hour. The entirety of their time at our car was only 20 minutes. In the end they said it wasn't about the money, but to help people. I find that hard to believe, especially when you have a corner on the market and can charge anything you want. My one regret is not guaranteeing a price before they pulled me out. I'll never make that mistake again.

Ridiculously overpriced. When my son's car was stuck in a dangerous position the Granby sherif sent Hilly's. They charged $250 for getting the car back on the road. Since it was an unplanned emergency, my son did not have the cash. He asked if he could call his parents to get help with the bill. The man said he was too busy to wait for that, so he would have to impound my son's car. Then he proceeded to add $200 more dollars to the total bill! $450 for a tow?! I can't see how that is anything, but fraud. BTW- the bill was paid within 5 hours of the service. fee.

I generally don't review businesses, but after today I feel that I need to say what an amazing job these guys did. My wife and I got our pickup stuck in the mountains near Fraser and they were able to immediately come up to the mountains and pull us out for a very reasonable cost. Perfect customer service and a wonderful outcome. Thank you!
