Dutch Automotive has the most knowledgeable staff members in the Valley. If you want your car fixed and fixed right, this is the place to go! They’re able to break down what you don’t understand and get to the root of any problem your vehicle has, top notch!

Had front end damage to my truck and Dutch Automotive made the whole process easy. My truck looks like the day it came out of the factory. They worked with my insurance company and it was seamless! Brendan was great with communication and time frames. Only place I'll ever go to have work done for my vehicle!

Top notch!!! They go the extra mile too. Had my wife’s Passport in for some roof damage and they were fast and thorough. Kacy, Brenen, Tucker, and Roy came together and made the car look better than it did when we picked it up from the dealership at the time of delivery!!! Clean upon returning as well, inside and out! They handled our insurance company like pros and made the whole process painless. Thank you Dutch Automotive and Team!!

This is an excellent body shop! They do what they say they're going to do and that is hard to find in this day and time. I highly recommend them.

I am very disappointed!! They are very unprofessional, giving the fact that 3 people recommend me this shop. I went in for an estimate and was told yes, we will work with all insurance. Since the beginning lack of communication from their end and my insurance. I was the one calling both parties. I was willing to pay the difference that my insurance did not want to cover, but I also wanted them to advocate for the customer as I was told in the beginning they would. A little over a month later, I get a voicemail stating sorry we will not be taking the "Job" we dont want to work with you or your insurance. There was no explanation as to why I called and was told the same thing, not one single vaild reason.

Insurance claim. Took 4 weeks longer than scheduled and had a multitude of excuses. Then we get the vehicle back and major mechanical issues that were supposed to be fixed were not. The entire time there was no communication and customer service was horrible. We would have to call to get an update; and they always seemed annoyed. Would say that they told insurance. Maybe call the car owner and update them??!! Definitely would not recommend this company. 🗑️ the lack of communication by Brennan was absolutely unacceptable!!! And I've read all the negative reviews on this company; and they always respond by telling the customer that they are wrong and just don't understand. So, I can't wait for this!!

Very ridiculous to tell a local to come in at a certain time to have something checked out, they arrive 20 min earlier than said time, and you tell them it will be an hour. I then asked if I could make an appointment and they don’t take appointments and that’s not how it works in the automotive industry. They just messed up an opportunity with a person who would’ve been a deeply loyal customer.

I had an excellent experience at Dutch Automotive with my Tesla. Their team is highly professional, communicating effectively throughout the repair process. They fixed my car fast and even detailed it, I felt like I was getting a brand new car! I highly recommend their top-notch service and expertise for any car repairs! Thank you Dutch Automotive!!

Total ripoff. Will never go here again. $850 to replace headlight bulbs and to tell me I might need struts. I’m all for supporting the local business owner, but they’re gouging the customer. You’re better off traveling to another local business that values their consumers.

Expensive, but the service we got here was great. They called us multiple times to let us know what was happening and when we could expect to get our car back. They also really pushed their suppliers to get the parts we needed quickly and worked us into their schedule so we could get to our flight later in the week.

The Dutch team are experts at body work. They take the time to make sure everything is perfect before releasing the car including dealing with hard to deal with insurance co's. I am a car guy and expect repairs to be perfect and Dutch meets that standard.

Josh went so far above and beyond in taking care of my car and the work was excellent!!! His prices are reasonable, which is rare in this Valley, and he has earned my trust and my business forever. Thank you Josh for making my experience EXCEPTIONAL!

These guys are awesome and their technical knowledge is just top drawer. Driving out to Beaver Creek to ski, the control solenoid for the turbo on my BMW wagon quit working leaving me with a smallish 4cyl engine to get over two mountain passes. When I got to Avon they were quick to schedule us for an appointment, diagnosed it an hour after they had the car and had the parts on the way. The whole was good to go in less than a day. Can’t recommend these guys enough. They’re top drawer.

I had a fantastic experience all around with this garage! I needed the door replaced on my Toyota Land Cruiser. Once the replacement door showed up, they got me in and out in a day! Everyone there is kind, professional, and the place is incredibly organized. I called ahead of time and they said to come by whenever. I showed up the next day and they knew exactly who I was, had a file started for me, answered all my questions, called right away when my truck was done, and everything was perfect. Absolutely top notch!

I can’t say enough good things about Dutch. My fiancé and I drove here from Dallas, TX for our Christmas vacation. We had severe vibrations from an unbalanced tire for the entire drive. I needed to get all four tires checked out and rebalanced before we make the 900 mile trip back this coming weekend. Dutch was able to squeeze us in and found that 3 of the 4 tires were improperly balanced. Major shoutout to Bill and everyone at Dutch for taking care of us on such a short timeline. Thank you!

Again, Josh's team came through again. They found the problem that the other shop in Denver couldn't and they repaired it. All I can say about Dutch Automotive is that they have never let me down and their prices are very fair, plus they stand behind their work!

I've given myself almost a year to think about this review. I brought my 911 in for an inspection, replace window regulator, replace rear struts, tint windows, wiper blades, flush brake fluids, alignment, lube convertible top. The proposed pricing was HIGH. Nevertheless, Dutch was referred to me by someone I know and I didn't want to drive to Denver. So, I was willing to pay a premium. While driving home, I noticed a lot of wind noise from the driver side. When I arrived home, I noticed that the window was hitting metal edge of the tiny back window. It wasn't doing this before I took it to them. Clearly there was a misalignment with the windows. A few days later, when I had time, I drove back to Dutch to have them take a look at it. After looking it over, they told me that it wasn't their fault and that they could fix the alignment issue. I played along thinking that they would charge some nominal fee to fix it. They sent me an estimate via email for ~$1,500! Seriously! Recall, they replaced the window regulator on the same side, and tinted the windows. How could it be their fault?? I spoke with my mechanic in Denver about this and he said, no issue, we know what's wrong. Its' not a big deal. Bring it by and we will align the window at no charge! Based on my records, Dutch have lost out on ~$5k in annual revenue from me. Needless to say, I'll never go back to Dutch. Think twice before you work with them. It could be an expensive visit.

AMAZING customer service. This is a company with strong dedication to integrity and community. I highly recommend them. Bonus: I did not receive the woman "discount" or get talked down to, as has happened too many times at other shops over the years. It's so nice to know of a truly trustworthy and honest business in our valley.

The level of competence, professionalism and service at this facility is on par or exceeding BMW dealership. They manged to correctly identify AC damage in my BMW X5, which local shop could not find, and fixed it on-time at $500 below original estimate. They even wash your car every time you come for service, just like dealers do. I was very impressed, highly recommend this place.

TL/DR Asked to service timing, they looked at everything but. Brought in a German v8 with a busted cam timing chain tensioner and a misfire on that side. Told them that, and instead of looking under the cam seal as instructed, they looked at every other possible reason for a misfire, replacing and servicing parts I don't need. I had a little more than the amount necessary to service and replace timing chains, but they spent all of my money on other things that I was going to do at home for 1/3 the price. In the end they would not look under my cam seals and returned my car to me "fixed" and ready for pickup. I paid over a grand on that premise, to find out they did not fix my car, couldn't even drive it out of their driveway. They then said it was my cats causing the misfire and wanted to charge me another $4000.00 to service my exhaust, which was irrellevent to the problem. So I'm over 1000 in the hole and my car is still out of time. Guess I'll take the engine out myself... They did, however, inspire me to invest in a couple hi-flow catalytic converters.. less than $900 all said and done at home in my garage.. 1/5 don't recommend.

Got in a car accident and although there was loads of stupidity from other entities, Dutch Automotive was my saving grace. They were kind, knew what I needed to do, and MORE than accommodating to my schedule. Doug helped me with my estimate and went above and beyond to answer any and all questions I had and was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you all for taking such good care of my car and helping me through this whole process!

I had my new truck hit on 2 separate occasions so I know that I was a bit grumpy with the staff at times. However, they were very kind and understood my frustration. On both occasions they performed excellent work and made sure I was completely satisfied. I am very happy with their compassion and attention to every detail and recommend them. Doug was especially helpful and a great communicator.

I was shocked at how quickly my car was ready and how pleasant the customer service was! Chris was super nice and patiently explained what my issue was, hopefully I won’t need to go back anytime soon but this is definitely the shop I will be using from now on! Great people and great service!

Had my first experience with Dutch Automotive today after living in the valley for 11 years. I have always heard great things, but never converted to using them for my automotive needs until today. Chris, Josh, and Billy were outstanding. They were kind, knowledgeable, passionate and efficient. They even washed my car! If you have a high end luxury or performance automobile this is definitely the place to take it in the Vail Valley.

I came in with VSA, check engine, and traction control (!) lights on; Honda CRV '06 bucking under acceleration, limp mode. I was given a lift home and called with a diagnosis and cost within an hour. They had to order parts and the next day I got the call it was finished. They explained the process and outcome that 1 part was received incorrectly, so they tried repair without it and it was fine; the bill was reduced, the vehicle got 500 miles within 4 days and is operating GREAT. I would highly recommend this Service and I am a DIY Car guy.
