A quick ring to the guys at Car quest confirmed they had a part I needed in stock, and was able to pick it up right away, at a reasonable price. No waiting on Amazon! (and twice they helped me check the OBD codes to confirm and clear an idiot light for a "very small evap system leak" P0456 that keeps coming back every few months.). Great service from our local guys.

I bought them and when I wanted to return them they said they don't return installed parts, which was clear since they were installed even before they were taken out of the box, so the only explanation is that they sold them like that.

The most helpful car spot in the valley! They have helped with our cars various times over the past few years and always have what we need in stock. Today, they helped me trouble shoot and fix my trailer wiring issue on the spot, rather than waiting over a week (which other nearby shops quoted). This shop always goes above and beyond - 10/10 experience!
Absolutely amazing people! I've done more part repairs/replacements in their parking lot than my own shop and they've always been incredibly helpful and had everything I need. Just last night I was doing an axle U-Joint replacement and had the wrong part and the manager personally helped me find and get the right one, despite it being closing time. Overall great and knowledgeable and highly recommended
My daughter’s van broke down after driving out from Indiana. I spent 8 hours fixing it in their parking lot. The guys were awesome! Lent me countless tools so I did not have to purchase new tools, gave me advice and had every part I needed. Cannot thank all of them enough. Without this place we would have never made it back. Very helpful staff! I was on vacation in the Vail Valley, and my car battery died. The staff at CarQuest helped identify and install the correct battery in my Subaru. So the other morning when I needed to leave Avon at 630am my check engine light came on. The owner of CarQuest unlocked the door 5 minutes early (I think because I was broke down in front of the store). It was -11 at 7am and I had to change a coil pack and sparkplug I purchased but I was having problems getting the plug off the coil, he came out in -11 degrees and was able to disconnect the plug.
I have never had any auto parts store help me in such freezing temps! If you are ever in need of auto parts while in Avon, GO HERE!

Classic Auto parts store, like before big chain stores(though it’s a chain), very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Smells like a classic auto parts store too! My dad was in the auto parts business in the 20th century. They even put my wiper blades on for an all the time, great service‼️
Today my heater core went out on me , and dan at the parts counter helped get the parts I needed for a temporary fix to get back to Denver. I really did and still appreciate his time effort and patience with the ordeal. DAN THE MAN!!!!
poor customer service he had an attitude about a return i didnt like that.pay them more so they can smile at least .karl had to help him with the return it looks like he knows a lot nice guy. and the older gentleman he is nice also is just this guy the one with a attitude i didn’t catch his name.
clearly labeled, well organized, ready to sell. Exactly what you want in an auto parts store, we found this place in a pinch, and it gave us what we needed. No complaints.
My wife and I are moving across the country and I am in a different state than her but the snow was getting bad up there I called and they had chains available. They showed her how to use them topped off her wiper fluid and installed a new wiper blade for her and really took care of her made her feel safe.
This is the best auto store I've ever been to. The staff was super friendly and we found everything we needed. They even came outside in the snow to install our new windshield wipers for us. Would definitely return.

On a long cross-country car trip, I stopped at a Colorado I-70 rest stop near Vail. There, I noticed that my left headlamp was out. This is a safety issue, as I was going to continue driving through the night on this high-stress mountain freeway. So I checked google for nearest auto parts shop, and I learned that I had only twenty minutes before 6pm closing time to get to Avon Carquest to buy a replacement headlamp. I arrived there with only five minutes to go before closing time. The counter staff volunteered and walked straight to the correct replacement part with no prompting. I purchased. The same helpful sales guy then came out to the parking lot and then performed the actual replacement, right there in the cold dark, to change it out in less than three minutes. I am bad, so I failed to get the dude's name. Thank you for this spectacular customer service.
I highly recommend this Auto Parts store. Visiting out of state, my rental car had a small cracked windshield, which Carl was able to help correct in 30 minutes, saving me hundreds of dollars in rental car fees. Extremely knowledgeable and helpful staff!
The check engine light came on during our trip from Oregon. We lucked out that this CarQuest was the closest parts store around because the people there are so helpful and knowledgeable. They diagnosed the issue and we were back on the road in no time!
These guys were fantastic. Helped me pull a code and even though I didn’t end up buying anything they were helpful and friendly. Just waited for a tow but they pointed out the bathrooms and some local restaurants in walking distance.

Our alternator went out as we were driving through town on our way to utah. Carl was amazingly kind and helpful. Helped test it out, checked to see if they had the parts, loaned us the tools and even came out several times to check on us and help with the replacement. If you have to break down in the parking lot, this is the one to do it in and you'll be back on the road in no time!
Friendly and knowledgeable. I needed a simple check engine code to be read. Every one behind the counter was ready to help. Took less than 5 minutes. Non-issue ID'd and done. Guy across the street heading west said it would cost $40 and take about an hour. Great guys at CarQuest!!! Happy to recommend them.

I'm from WI, my daughter lives there in CO. I have been doing business with part stores for 30 years and the customer service and assistance was by far the best ever !
When I went to visit, needed some parts ordered, right on time with the greatest assistance and knowledge. Also in the latest distant help, I called from WI, ordered the part and Karl was gracious enough to help my daughter out and install it. You only get that kind of service from small business' who care about customers.

Over the years I've visited every parts store in 30 miles numerous times. Without question I call this part store first. The staff are helpful, know a little bit about every car I own, and sincerely want their customers to succeed. You can "rent" speciality tools, they take old batteries for free, they have scan tools and will pull codes for you and everything I've ever inquired about was in the next day. Highly recommended auto parts store if you want a quality part at a reasonable price and want to be treated like a respectable human.
