Hotchkiss Auto Repair is amazing! They’ve worked on my Audi a few times now, including replacing the control arms, and every experience has been great. This is by far the best mechanic shop I have ever been too!! As a single woman I did not feel taken advantage of. They are not pushy. They don’t push the most expensive repairs. Both my daughter and I have been here and will continue to use them! Don’t let the address scare you away from them! Jasmine, Tara and Kyle are wonderful!!
Great experience, and just getting an alignment I had to share how good this place is. Kudos to Kyle for being accurate with everything he told me, pricing, timeframes, etc. Very affordable. I just relocated back to the Park Hill area and cannot figure out how I missed this place before I left the neighborhood. Think I was being robbed by the local Big NO Tire shop.... The best mechanics I’ve ever used. After every inspection you receive a link with pictures, notes and quotes on exactly what’s being done. Jasmine, Cody and the rest of the team are delightful people and very competent.
Brought my RAV4 in for an oil change and tire rotation — great service, done in about an hour, and fair pricing. Staff were friendly and straightforward about future maintenance. My only wish is that they reported to Carfax, but otherwise I’ll definitely be back.
Every time I come to Hotchkiss Auto Repair it’s the best experience. The people here are always wicked nice and the customer service is amazing!!! They actually take the time to explain what’s wrong with my car and never try to push something I don’t need. Instead, they tell me what they think should be done and why, so I can make the decision myself. You can tell they care more about being honest and helpful than just selling you on work. I always leave feeling taken care of and confident my car was in great hands.
Hotchkiss has been fantastic for general maintenance on my old Honda; always communicative, fairly priced, and easy to schedule with. They also helped me replace and reprogram my broken key fob basically for free, avoiding the proposed $350 price tag at a dealership. Very happy to have found them as my go to repair and maintenance shop!
What can I say to express my gratitude to Hotchkiss?! They replaced my turbo a year ago and just this week fixed another issue with my car when it went into limp mode. They fixed the issue under quote and got me back on the road! I know the issue was frustrating for all…but they stuck to it and found the fix! I am very grateful….and would recommend this shop! I came into the store for tires getting a good deal on those I then asked to see if they could fix the alignment of my car (it had been pulling to the left recently) not only did they fixed my alignment they did a free assessment of the whole car and broke down what I should be looking out for and how I can prevent certain disasters from happening. The best part of this experience was easily the customer service they actually let me speak before assuming and explaining something else before a diagnosis they talked to me like a human and not like someone who didn’t know much about cars. I’d would give 10 stars definitely will be coming back here!
I’ve always had a great experiences with Hotchkiss auto repair. Cody, Jasmine, Kyle and team are phenomenal. Always taking great care of me especially the last time I was in with an electrical issue. They had me in very communicative about the repair and had me out within a day or two always great working with this team and I will continue to.
I had a terrible experience with Hotchkiss auto repair. They took my hybrid Volvo XC 90 into their shop, knowing that they did not work on hybrid vehicles. This was the fact that they did not divulge to me until much later. They kept my car for a week after which they allegedly felt that they had repaired the vehicle. It took me five seconds behind the wheel to know that they had not. I went back within minutes of getting my car returned to me and made the man working there sit in the passenger Seat with me as I drove my car. He refused to acknowledge that there was still a problem with the acceleration of my engine and still charged me full price for a repair that was not performed. "Seems fine to me". I called back with the complaint because I was so irritated with their lack of customer service and they reluctantly agreed to give me a $90 gift certificate for future services at their garage but declined to reimburse me any part of the fee that they had charged for doing absolutely nothing to my car. I ultimately took my Volvo to Rickenbaugh And they were able to fix the hybrid engine fairly quickly. After my car was repaired by Rickenbaugh, I called the folks at Hotchkiss and informed them. The gentleman I spoke to said, "you mean the Volvo has a Separate hybrid engine, and a separate gas engine?" This seems like something that someone who does car repair should know without being informed by me! I feel that they took advantage of me by taking my car in when they knew they had no business working on Hybrid cars. In addition, I feel that the nominal gift certificate they offered me was deceitful and a complete scam. What they should have done was to come clean about the fact that they could not provide the service i needed and let me just take my car somewhere that could help. That's what an honest business would've done. The fact that they charged me anything seems rather unbelievable, knowing what I know now (Namely, that they don't work on hybrid vehicles). Never again. If you are a woman coming in by yourself, prepare to be taken advantage of and taken for a ride, both literally and figuratively.
Honestly, I first chose Hotchkiss because of their Google reviews, and I’m so glad that I did. Their customer service is wonderful, and their method for communicating diagnostic results and costs makes it convenient to approve/deny work orders. I plan on using them so any repairs, moving forward.

A few months ago, I took my car to Hotchkiss to get the brakes fixed and have the team perform an inspection for other potential repairs.They provided thorough notes of what I needed to get done ASAP, what could wait a little longer, and what didn't need any attention.The team, Jasmine especially, was very honest and communicative.
Most recently, I needed to change the battery in my key fob, but the screw was stripped. I stopped in to see if they had any suggestions and the man I spoke with spent the next 15-20 minutes fixing it himself and replacing the battery free of charge. Hotchkiss has a level of customer service that I haven't experienced at any other auto shop. I'll continue to return to them for repairs and would recommend them to anyone.

They did my pre-purchase inspection and were so through and helped talk me through all the vehicle issues. Really went above and beyond. On top of that it’s a great place to have to wait for your car to get repaired - good wifi - desks to use had coffee and water. I highly recommend!
Started my 4th weekend with my engine overheating, called the shop and they were super friendly and able to take my car in on the holiday weekend and back on the road by Monday. Super appreciate of all the staff here and would recommend to anyone in need of service on their vehicle. Prices were fair and pictures were provided to show proof of diagnosis.
Brought my Honda in after it started making weird knocking noises. The mechanic took a look and called me later that day to explain everything clearly. It was the timing belt going bad. They had the part ordered and fixed it within 2 days. Car’s been running perfect since. What I liked was they didn’t try to add on a bunch of extra stuff like other places I’ve been. Straightforward, fair price, and no surprises. Waiting room was nothing special but I wasn’t there long anyway. The staff was chill and honest. Only thing I’d say is they could answer the phone faster, had to call twice. But overall, this place knows what they’re doing. Good work and trustworthy, which is hard to find these days. Will bring my wife’s car there next time too. Glad I found this shop.

Jasmine worked so hard with the warranty adjusters to get things sorted and even dealt with my attitude from time to time ;) Had my struts done on top of the warranty work and super impressed with the results! Grateful to have stumbled upon Hotchkiss Auto a three years ago! The entire team is super helpful, responsive, and attentive to customer concerns. Each time my vehicle was inspected, a list of approve/deny mechanic tasks were sent to my phone, all tasked based on level of concern. Genuine, honest and professional auto repair service. Did not try to sell us a bunch of repairs that weren’t needed at the time. Brought my truck in because I had a bad shake/vibration coming from the front suspension. They diagnosed and did a good job of explaining what needed to be replaced and got me back on the road quickly. Everyone was very friendly and I thought they were very reasonably priced. Hotchkiss is the best! It’s stressful to trust a new place with your car but this team is so helpful and communicative that it makes it so much easier to know you’re leaving it in good hands.
When they do their diagnosis they send you a full report with photos of your car’s issue as well as a breakdown of cost to actually see what you’re paying for before you agree to them doing the work.
I had a big project done and a few days later I accidentally got my back hatch lock stuck so I ran it over just before closing and Kyle came out and fixed it for me. They all have such a positive attitude which is so nice and sometimes hard to come by these days. Thank you for all your help!
