Absolutely pathetic. We were in the middle of moving, in a 2 hour lot that our new apartments told us we could use for this purpose. We had only been parked for about 20 minutes, when we went up to take our last load, they swooped in and illegally stole our car. We had been away from the car for no longer than 5 minutes and when we called, the woman (that's the nicest thing I can call her) who answered kept telling us they didn't have it and would hang up immediately, even though we were also in contact with the police AT THE SAME EXACT TIME who told us it was in the system as towed. Unprofessional thieves.
My neighbors stay parking in my handicap spot and when I called they said they can only tow out of “reserved spots.” Just for them to tow me when I had my handicap placement picture. I had my father with a brain injury with me, what an honorable company. Will be reporting to BBB.
I understand that they have to charge a towing fee, but they literally charge a “after hours” fee only because it’s the weekend. As if they’re not open 24/7.
last year I had my cars taken from these people basically stolen tell me my apartment complex had told them to take my car when I found out they didn't they were still trying to charge me I couldn't afford the car to get out so I almost just had to wipe my hands clean with it I'll put a puc claim on them the next thing you know a couple days later they're bringing my car back talking about the tow truck driver said that they took my car legally yeah so definitely be prepared with these people to be predatory and just cuz they got a different name and management doesn't mean that they change their policies in the way they treat people. and the reason why I'm posting this right now is because my boy I'm sitting outside this place and he got his car taken from the apartment complex we stay at without even having a sticker on it the same thing they told me is the same thing they told him today shockingly be both never had even a orange sticker on there but then there's five or six people that's parked right around our us and they have a whole bunch of stickers on there no one no one towed their car
I don’t know how the managers of this company can live with themselves. slimiest people I’ve ever experienced in my life. I was parked in a spot for all of maybe 20 minutes while I was inside a store. Had the signage been clear and I knew it was a permit only spot, I wouldn’t have parked there. $400 for 20 mins of parking… unbelievable. They are 100% in violation of the law when it comes to signage in this lot. It’s a big lot filled with cars that had no permit, yet mine was the only one towed… apparently half of the lot is public and half private.. but there is literally no way of knowing this. $400 is not something I could afford to lose. These predators are making a stupid amount of money off of exploiting people. Do better.
I called to have someone removed out of the parking spot I pay $150 monthly for and I countered a girl that provided only the initial U S. She stated I would have to contact the property which is fine. I made sure I did my due diligence to ensure I was receiving the correct information by asking for her name in case I needed to confirm who provided me the information and she instantly became very aggressive. It’s unfortunate that she lacks proper self control. Towing operators serve as both the face of the company and the first point of contact for customers during stressful situations. Aggressive behavior undermines professionalism and creates unnecessary conflict. In my opinion this behavior should be considered before you move forward with a contract with this company. I’m surprised this company would allow this behavior. If your thinking about doing business with this company I would first ensure they are proactive in maintaining safety, reputation, and conflict prevention because her behavior was absolutely unacceptable.
My husband was a victim of theft by one of the employees of this company, when we went to pick up his vehicle we realized that his work tools were not there, the employee who lifted the vehicle said that the police had taken the tools because there was a report of theft of my tools then we called the police and they told me that they do not proceed that way and that there was no report against my tools this is so weird there are criminals working for this company, I can't believe what happened to us I hope this individual and those involved pays for the damage caused us!
During paving at my complex my car was towed into another part but placed in a reserved spot. Police on record have them towing it for that reason but I’m being told my car is not at their lot. This is absolute gross negligence from a business and I am left absolutely clues less to my cars location or if it’s stolen, wasting valuable time needed if it is. The fact I can’t get a solid answer on where my car is when the police on file have it being towed to them is absolutely pathetic
I had my brand-new 2025 Kia K5 GT towed by Elite Towing on July 23, 2025 (Invoice #33157). Not only was the tow extremely expensive ($373+) and charging an extreme price for after hours even though they are 24hr, but my vehicle was damaged during the process.
I immediately emailed the company with photos and details the next day. I never received a reply. Two weeks later, I called and was told they had my email but that “a different team” handles damage claims. When I followed up again today 8/17, they claimed they had no record of my invoice at all and told me to call the manager the next day.
This is completely unacceptable—my car was less than two weeks old, and instead of addressing the damage they caused, they’ve given me the runaround, contradictory answers, and no resolution.
Elite Towing has shown zero accountability, terrible communication, and a blatant disregard for customer property. If you value your vehicle, avoid this company at all costs.
Yeah this morning whenever truck number 11 got off of 25 and turned on to 70 if that genius driver instead of just staying in his Lane and rolling with traffic drove around me on the berm throwing rocks all over my windshield and then back in front of me into the lane because of course I guess was don't apply to your Towing company. Fantastic employees you got there. Sure would be nice if your people had to obey the same traffic laws the rest of the sharing the road with them do.

My vehicle was stolen asked if they had it was meet with sighs and rudeness I have previously had an issue with a tow yard where they entered my info wrong and did have my vehicle after saying they didn't they would not allow me to look even after seeing vehicles that look like mine on there yard and the lady was blunt and rude
Broke Equity Residential protocol and illegally towed my car out of my own spot because someone sent them an email, no proof of them having any right to the spot. They acted like they were being generous by letting me pick up my car for free, but never admitted fault.

Just a heads up that google doesn’t effect shutting down “Wyatt’s 2.0”. File an EPA report about the oil leaking all over their lot. Report them to fish and wildlife for towing your car in an unsafe manner and having brake fluid drip next to the river their shop is next to. This garbage company and the absolute parasites that work there should be held accountable by ALL the regulators we can contact.

Got home from work and an unauthorized car was parked in the middle of my paid parking spot and my roommates. Called Elite hoping to get a tow truck to come and tow it. Woman on the phone seemed annoyed and bothered. No help whatsoever and said they couldn’t send a tow truck. Awful customer service!
Towed my girlfriend’s car while she was contracted to clean at the apartment complex. When I called the company to explain the situation they had no remorse and did not care. Also made a nasty sarcastic comment about how much it cost. Terrible company terrible people.
Just moved into new apartment in Lakewood, of course snowed this weekend. Allegedly I was in wrong spot. $400 tow bill.
I explained that spots were covered in snow. Employee at towing company disputed my claim and said she had photos saying the spots were clear of snow.

They wouldn't tell me when the car would arrive, refused to give an estimate over the phone and charged $400 once I got there for having the car for less than 20 minutes. If they keep your car for more than 30 days they'll auction it off.

My experience was fine and I think that they were as helpful as they could be in the situation. My HOA has my car towed while I was out of town. The people working were friendly and helpful. Not saying that I wasn't pissed off but it wasn't because of the tow truck driver.
I want to share what happened to me today. I had arrived at a mechanic's shop and they were full of cars so they asked me to just move my car for 5 minutes so they could put it in when they arrived and took it away, before when the guy was tying it up I explained the situation to him and he was racist with his words towards me and refused to listen to me, I arrived 15 minutes later and it was for a charge of $364 dollars
I had my vehicle towed by this company about two weeks ago now and had to pay a hefty price to release my vehicle. And when i went to go pick my vehicle up from the lot i noticed some damages that weren't there before it got towed, so i went to talk to the lady up front and she told me to take pictures of the damages before leaving the lot and so i did and sent them to their claims email , two weeks later, call after call still receiving the same response which is '' we'll send it to the manager and he'll give you a call later.'' its been two weeks since i made the claim and no response from the manager still. highly unprofessional
The company illegally towed my vehicle and my parking brake was engaged. My transmission is now slipping and it was left out in the middle of the lot blocking traffic. Incredibly unprofessional and a terrible company. Go rot
Sub contracted out to handle apartment complexes, but has a staff deemed incapable of keeping records of information for paid parking spots. For cars parked in paid parking spots, Elite towing has 'policies' in place that say in order to get your paid parking spot back from someone parked in your spot, you need to have a lease addendum with your parking space listed as well as i.d.
Clearly , this policy is outdated and makes no sense for a number of reasons.
1. This is the laziest form of keep of track of your responsibilities as a company. Shame.
2. Those that have a lease that was signed, and then bought a new car months later ,and with that, an official parking space. What lease do we have on us that would have that information? Sounds like, once again, information y'all should already have on file. Sending a copy of a government i.d. would make sense for verification. Everything else is a joke.
3. It's late in the evening.Maybe your company runs off people on meth and coke heads, but in our apartment there's just 2 people working full time jobs and just trying to park in our paid damn parking spot.
Passing this on to Better Business Bureau. Y'all are doing a terrible job.
Horrible customer service no mangers in until half day. So they keep charging you per the hour. My vehicle was in visitors areas and based off the "pictures" they can not tell if it is visitors. So they take the car anyway!!. Driver can not confirm either and still wants me to pay $352 for their mistakes. This is the 2nd time it had happened the first time the driver picked up my Chevy S10 pickup without reviewing visitors labels, I had the chance to flag down and physically remove a few debris off the visitors label on asphalt and show him that it is labeled visitor he realized his mistake and dropped my truck . POS company no attention to what they do just hook and go.
I understand this is a towing company and nobody likes their vehicle towed so the frustruation is understandable. However, it's absolutely ridiculous to tow a vehicle without a notice for the violation. In my case, I could've requested a parking permit or moved my vehicle but instead they towed it with no warning. The place that I live at, was working with a different towing company and they left 2 notice stickers on my window for my other 2 cars which I ended up getting parking permits for. Now they're working with this company that's a complete joke and clearly looks for ways to make money by not taking the correct procedures. So many towing companies out there and this one sits the lowest on the scale. I went 5 hours later to pick it up and had to pay $400 which is a ridiculous price. Overall, this company should not be in business if they disregard laws and rules. Joke.
Stole my car from private lot claiming it was unregistered when my valid permit was clearly displayed in the front windshield. No notice. No warning. $406 to recover my stolen property and you can’t negotiate with terrorists like them. Theft is illegal. You are required to give 24 hours notice for a suspected violation even if as in this case there is NO violation. This is the definition of a PREDATOR. Stealing money, time and mobility from honest hardworking Americans. You should be shut down and jailed. Shame on you.
This company illegally towed our truck on 12/28 because the tower “couldn’t read” the license plate number. Basic reading comprehension should be a requirement for your drivers, maybe make sure that they’ve got a basic GED or high school diploma before hiring people.
So, when they realized they were wrong, we let them know that we would not be paying to pick it up as it was towed illegally and that they would need to bring it back. The driver left our truck sitting in the driveway of the front office, not even in a parking space, and left without even contacting us. We found the truck sitting there about an hour later. Needless to say, we’ll be following up with city of Aurora on this matter. Thank you TYSON for being helpful and having the company release our vehicle back to us. Good to know there is one honest person working for Elite.
If your car is illegally towed by Elite and you have proof like we did, DO NOT pay the fee to get your car taken out. Call the police if need be, but DO NOT pay them. They are responsible for bringing your vehicle back to you.
Car towed from the front of my home during an emergency. When I came out my car getting towed already had to chase them with a baby in my arm. The dispatch keep telling me there is fire lane but as you can see by the pictures there is nothing stating or showing a fire lane and please note the signed that’s not legible and burnt out
