This company here those shady business they sell you bad engines and transmissions with a 30 day warranty, and by the time the car is out of the shop your transmission is no good and your warranty is up. Please stay clear of this company
They don't have a set price, every time I called them for a hub assembly, they said different prices. When i told them the exact item w/ the same stock number posted for half of the asking price. And the first guy said he can match with the online price, and second guy said online price is only valid for multiple orders, which don't really make sense.
CarBones had exactly the window I needed to be replaced in my 2007 Elantra. After a thief smashed it in I thought I'd have to wait for weeks. But Dave at Carbones was very helpful, holding the window for me until I could get there a few days later. And at an excellent price. Dave was very efficient, professional and friendly. I will keep CarBones in mind for auto parts and tires.
The engine was extremely affordable and was one of the best pull jobs I have ever come across. That made installation infinitely easier. You can definitely trust these guys.

What a scam, online they have a set of seats priced under $300. I called and was told the set was $650!!!! When I called back I was discarded. Also online they had two front seats, which were listed for 150 for the pair, then I was told the headrest was $30 extra each!!!! Really?? Too bad because I run auto shops and am always looking for used parts, thought these were the guys from reviews, but obviously not.
They had a clean lot and good arrangement of cars.The prices are rigid in my opinion and they will take another time to get the part for you. I returned and got better service from Shay and company
They commit credit card fraud. I bought a part from them, then later on they kept using my credit card info to keep charging me for parts I never authorized purchases for.
Shipping was a bit slow but the parts I needed where large and awkward to ship on a pallet, otherwise they answered all my questions and didn't charge me until the parts were actually shipped which is awesome!
I live in Utah. I tried ordering parts and they asked for a copy of my credit card and drivers license. This isn’t unusual but I still thought it was odd because most companies in the US usually take payments over the phone. I sent them an email with those copies and suddenly I got a fraud alert from my credit card company. I got charges from an airline in the UK and multiple attempted charges from a clothing company, also in the UK.
Now, I dont usually use said card. its rare. So either this company’s email got hacked and everyone who has sent their information to them was stolen or someone in that company stole my information for such purchases. Now I have to set up a fraud Alert and I will be filing a police report. I have also contacted these companies in the UK to get a name of whoever tried using my card and bookings under my name, using my ID.
Great salvage yard! Great selection on newer vehicles especially Subaru’s and there parts are never junk, and they’re price is always fair. I always call Joe at Car Bones first.
I've called a couple of times and they are always very rude over the phone. Then the one time I did purchase from them it was the wrong item and they got mad at me and said it was my fault it was the wrong part rather than trying to fix the issue.

I was looking for windsheild wiper arms for my car, called a couple places and wasn't able to find anything, until I called this place. They came out to 50 dollars for both, new from the dealer they were 160...so yeah. The staff was friendly and they were helpful.
I recently bought an instrument cluster from Car Bones for a Toyota 4runner. I had Toyota install the instrument cluster and an airbag light was on. It had a "Roll Over Cut Off Indicator" fault and Toyota was unable to reset the code. Went back to Car a Bones and purchased a new instrument cluster. Got it installed and everything was good. Called Car Bones to see if I am able to return the part and was told by Joe that he can only return it for store credit. What a bunch of BS if the part want good in the first place why sell it!
