If zero stars were an option, then I would give zero stars. when my vehicle was taken there not only did they steal a couple of iPhone adapters, but they also stole my dash cam. When I confronted them about my stolen items, they told me that I had to make a claim with my insurance as if my items were not stolen on their premises by their employees disregarding all responsibilities that they should’ve been upholding on their end. Where is corporation? Why are they not doing anything about this? How are they not paying attention to the reviews and ignoring that their employees are stealing peoples property on their own property in work environments. How are these employees still employed? How are they allowing their employees to get away with theft? Where is the responsibility? Where is corporation and where the hell is corporation‘s contact information because when I asked for it, I was denied it.

Dear owners, please pay attention! There are three forklift
working here, but only one is being used for loading. This is unacceptable; there are so many people waiting in line. Furthermore, the parking lot is very small. This simply won't do! Please make things more convenient for the drivers. Thank you in advance!Dec 08, 2025 -
Worst customer service I experience in over a decade. I have written Markel Insurance. They need to find another recovery partner. Copart has not even contacted me by phone, email, or text. In addition their auto-attendant is broken, it does not reply in a timely manner and does not seem to include an accident pickup as an option and does not seem to understand English. They need to go.

Looking at available cars here is a waste of time. You will wait and wait and wait. Understaffed and disinterested.
Sep 08, 2025 -
I waited two hours before loading the car until they gave me one piece of paper title, this is not Copart, but a time waster
May 05, 2025 -
Staff were relatively friendly but the wait times were unheard of. Not sure if they’re just unorganized or simply lazy but I shouldn’t be waiting 50 minutes to pick up personal belongings.

I’ve bought from Coparts all over the country and this place is by far the worst. Inspected the car prior to bidding 2 days later after winning the auction the whole front end is absolutely destroyed. I’m convinced the employees here purposely damage sold cars

Unfriendly workers & general manager, absurd wait times in a tiny waiting area, unprofessional, and didn’t return everything from my totaled vehicle & didn’t acknowledge that they broke some items when I went to pick up my belongings. It’s super fun when you get into a wreck that isn’t your fault and then you have to deal with this afterwards. I pray you or your insurance company picks literally any other lot in the state let alone city

I've been to Coparts all over the country to pick up vehicles. This one is the worst. The lot to load is very small. It takes over three hours to pick up even one vehicle. They pile too many trucks in so nobody can get out after they get loaded. Organized process is not a strong point here. It's like nobody knows what to do. I have never witnessed such an unprofessional setup. I'll never go back to this Copart. It's funny because there are two other Coparts fairly close that actually know how to run their yards.

This must be the slowest working Copart office in the country. We were only 3 customers and I had to wait for almost 3 hours to view a vehicle. I saw 6 employees behind desks and they looked very busy - but nobody showing any attention to the customers.

Arranged to have my car picked up the next day giving me time to get home from work and empty it out of all my valuables. When I got home the car was gone and they would not answer the phone. When the phone was finally answered, it was right before closing and they hung up before even saying a word so they wouldn't have to deal with the customer. Very sad excuse of a company..

My experience with Copart - Denver Central was quite disappointing. From the beginning, I noticed that the customer service was lacking in attentiveness and professionalism. When I reached out with questions about a vehicle, it felt like the staff were intentionally difficult to reach. This made the initial stages of the transaction frustrating and time-consuming.
When I finally did get in touch with someone, their attitude was less than helpful. The responses I received were often curt, and I got the impression that my inquiries were more of an inconvenience than a priority. This dismissive approach was off-putting and made me feel undervalued as a customer.
The communication issues were compounded by the slow response times. I often found myself waiting far longer than necessary for simple information or assistance, which added to my frustration and made the process feel unnecessarily drawn out.
Overall, my dealings with Copart - Denver Central left me feeling neglected as a customer. It seemed that their focus was more on their internal circumstances than on providing a positive experience. For anyone considering doing business with them, I would recommend being prepared for potential challenges and delays in communication.Oct 03, 2024 -
I think the people here hate their lives and want to be nasty to everyone they talk to. They never showed to pick up my car after they confirmed over the phone so I called. Wow, did I get to pay the price and I was nice although expressed that I took time off to be present because they asked me to be since I isn't want to leave the keys on the seat of the car. The second person was rude too but used everything in me to stoke her ego about how hard her job is just t get them to still pick my car up another day, I am glad I am not this miserable in life or work as these people are. What a terrible place to be.
Sep 25, 2024 -
Zero star! Rude people, never notice you are here. Poor poor experience! Waited 3 hours just for them to tell me the car they called in to get pulled out can’t get pulled out because it’s past 12. Car should’ve been pulled out 3 hours ago! Terrible people, terrible place!

They are so slow. Had appointment at 11am. Now 1pm and I still waiting.
Very disrespectful!Jul 29, 2024 -
BUYERS BEWARE!! I purchased a vehicle from this place, of course after paying my membership fees, was unable to pick up my vehicle (that supposedly "runs and drives") right away and was caught totally off guard by all the fees I was assessed that ARE NO WHERE TO BE FOUND on the website. A car I thought I was paying $575 ended up being $1100!!! Ok, I can get over that, I've agreed to buy this car that "runs and drives" so I will honor my end of the deal even though when I asked for an explanation of these fees I got not one not two but three different ladies treating me like I'm stupid because I have no knowledge of their process or fees, again that are not listed anywhere, anyways cut to towing the vehicle off the property and being dropped about a mile away, my choice not theirs....here's the fun part. Vehicle doesn't start. Doesn't even light up. I stay positive, add some gas, get a jump.....car still wont start. Ok, maybe it's my alternator? I'm no mechanic. One alternator, one starter, one new battery, new spark plugs, fuel pump, oil and air filter later I'm finding that there is coolant leaking into my engine.......tell me how this car gets a "runs and drives" rating with a gosh Damn blown head gasket?? Of course, I've called and left several messages with no response, well I wonder why? I'll tell you why, because each and every person I came into contact with, looked an obviously disabled woman right in the face and told me I was buying a great car, knowing damn well I wasn't. Shame on this company, and more so shame on the Staff , for not offering any kind of guidance, for clearly lying about the condition of their vehicles and for not blinking an eye when being so deceptive. My next step is to report this company to whomever I ha to report to, in order to recoup my money.

Terrible customer service online. I have waited a week in-between responses online. I've both paid for a membership and provided my I.D. I have been waiting since the 23rd of may and have been told to follow the same process that doesn't work, and just provides me with an error and no upgrades are available. I was told on the 31st that IT would be fixing my issue and it would take 1 to 2 business days it has been 7 business days. No updates, no refunds no solutions. Terrible I would recommend using another Service. The cars I wanted to bid on have already been sold and the main purpose in me creating an online account and paying for my membership has failed me. 0/10 site and customer service for said online service. Rollerauctions was drastically better in terms of cost and use.

What are these people's attitude problems about? I kept getting automatic texts about where to pick up my title Copart and the person who is working on customer service had a real attitude problem. She treated me like I was the idiot when it's obvious that they have a communication problem both internally and externally. Highly unprofessional communication. At the very least I'd suggest some training on treating their clients with some courtesy and respect. This is unprofessional experience.

absolute trash - have spoken and interacted with multiple people from this organization over the last week and it's amazing to me that they are still in business. Eric Schleeter runs this location and my interactions with him and his staff have been more than disappointing. Pray that you never have to interact with anyone from Copart, regardless of the location because I've dealt wtih several and spent entirely too much time chasing them down to try and resolve my issue in a fair and balanced manner.
My vehicle was in an accident and my insurer had it towed to Copart for damage assessment and repair estimate. Fine.
Copart sent a tow truck same day and about a week later they followed up with estimate. I completed my claim with my insurer and wanted to keep my vehicle at the end of it. This is where the problems started. I don't think Copart ever planned to return it. First I was told it would be returned in a week. A week later after no vehicle, I inquired with Copart and they told me someone still had to pay for the initial tow before they would return it to my house. Not my problem, imo but I wanted the car back and so I played middle man and got my insurer (AAA) to talk to Copart to return my vehicle.
A week later after numerous follow up calls and emails to my insurer and Copart I still don't have my vehicle. Call my insurer and they talk to Copart and tell me it will be delivered "tomorrow". Tow truck man shows up with my vehicle but the license plates are missing. I ask him abotu this and he says "oh we remove all license plates and destroy them after 60 days. It's our policy at Copart"
I need my license plates so I call the Brighton location (where Copart told me my vehicle was taken initially) and they tell me no, we don't have your plates, your vehicle was taken to Denver Central. I call Denver Central and they finally agree to Fedex my plates back to me via 2 day mail. That was on 2/9, today is 2/14 and guess what? I still don't have my plates. I call again today and Stephanie tells me that my plates were never sent to me. Wonderful! She agrees to check personally on my situation and ship the plates out via Fedex. Fingers crossed I get them.
The best part of all of this is that they absolutely trashed the interior of my vehicle with grease stains and garbage while moving the vehicle around the lot, sometime after it was taken from my house. When I approached Eric Schleeter about this with photo evidence he compared it to two photos his lot lizard took from the exterior of the vehicle upon receipt of the vehicle and said "nope not from us". Can't even see the interior of the vehicle from his photos and he just straight up denied any wrongdoing. Fortunately, my insurer agreed to cover the cleaning costs on behalf of Eric's gross negligence but here we are.... my car was taken on December 21 and it's February 14 and I still don't have my license plates back.
Literally every step, every interaction, every part of this process involving Copart was botched, fumbled, mishandled and chock full of misinformation by none other than Eric Schleeter and his upstanding employees at COPART.Feb 14, 2024 -
What are these people's attitude problems about? I kept getting automatic texts about where to pick up my car from but the car lot told me it was picked up by copart this morning. So, I called Copart and the person who answered had a real attitude problem. She treated me like I was the idiot when it's obvious that they have a communication problem both internally and externally. Highly unprofessional communication. At the very least I'd suggest some training on treating their clients with some courtesy and respect. I wouldn't even do any business with them if they weren't the only option offered by my insurance company and I will tell USAA about the unprofessional experience.

This place was very frustrating. Noted they came very quickly to pick up my totalled car with is nice but I had forgotten to take my plates off or asked the guy too (shame on me) but I called and they said they keep them and to call back in a few days to see which location they would be at. I called 2 to 3 times a week for 6 weeks before I finally got an answer and then went in to pick them up and waited for an hour to tell me that they couldn't find them but would call me later if they did or didn't find them well yet again, I had to call the next day and no even though they had told me they kept them for 3 months they didn't have them anymore. The Assistant said in that case they would refund me my $ and to send the receipt when I got new plates. I thought that was more than fair but when I sent them the email they said the only pay for the plates themselves none of the other fees almost $600 since I didn't have my other plates (and thats with a discount since I had a lot of the year left on my previous plates) I thought that should have been explained 1st and here I am more than a month later no $ at all. They say stuff to get you off their back. I was very polite the whole time and very thankful that they offered to pay as I had renewed my tags weeks prior to the accident. I also offered to wait longer in case they found my old plates. I work in retail and always thought people made stuff like this up when they would tell me stories. I feel they lied about paying me back so I would stop calling. I want to also note the brighton location had some very kind people on the phone when I finally was told where my plates were supposed to be.

Yes, there is a need for process improvement, yet most of the people I’ve interacted with at this location have been kind and helpful. Tiffany helped me out today, she knew her stuff and worked with a smile. Working with someone who is knowledgeable and kind is especially helpful when having to deal with the transactions this type of business is handling.

This place is so incredibly frustrating. Obviously I am one of so many bad reviews. You should not be telling people to come when you cannot service them because you are down five people who had to go deal with the hurricane, the manager Angie and her staff were working hard, but could not keep up with the customers that were coming in, and we’re being told to come on in instead of being told to wait until another day when they had their staffing back up to scale. I waited an hour and a half before I was helped. I was given a text said that the representative was ready to receive me 55 minutes before they actually took me back to my car. They should not be checking you and telling you you’re ready and then making you wait almost another hour before you actually can get your personal effects from your car. Today is one of my few days off and I need to be shopping for a new car not sitting in Copart’s office. So so frustrating.

I see why they get the bad reviews. This place is a nightmare to work with. They were supposed to pick up my car on a Monday after it was totaled in a collision on Pena. When cars get wrecked on Pena they tow them to a place called the Sandlot. Copart sent out a tow truck to pick up the car. I went to the location to grab the last of my stuff and meet the driver. The driver pulled into the parking lot, backed out and left. They then messaged me and said they couldn't pick up the car. They refused to answer calls and messages after that. I fought with them for 3 days trying to get them to go get the car. They contacted my insurance and told my insurance I had made the car "unavailable" to them. It was sitting In a gravel parking lot ready to go, are they not allowed to tow off gravel? So my insurance called me telling me to take my rental back until I made the car "available" to them. I had to pay out of pocket to hire a competent tow truck driver to get the car for them. Then it took 5 phone calls for them to acknowledge the vehicle was there so my insurance would give me the rental back. You get a different story from them every time you call, they just make up stuff and try and tell you what you want to hear. The corporate office doesn't care either, they will probably respond to this with their generic message that they really want to do better so please contact them. But when you do you get the run around there too. If you can avoid it, just stay away from this company. You can tell your insurance you do not wish to work with the. I wish I had done that, lesson learned.

So when I spoke to the lady one the phone she was very helpful and informative. But when I went in person there was no signs telling you how what to do so I waited in what seemed like a line but then when it was my turn she didn't knowledge me and so I waited think she was just catching something up with her work for a min but they when other people came in she started working with them then after and continueed ignoring me and she knew could see me sitting there calm and nice but after the second person I got up and left so idk I do have to go back maybe in will be a better experience the next time around.

The most racist Copart in USA. Stay away from this auction, the personal are so rude and racist. Even with appointment if they want they are not going to load you. If you dont speak english stay away, they will leave you to the end or are not going to load you.

Not even 1 Star but a didn’t have the option to select 0
This place is the most disrespectful place I had ever been before. Appointment was at 8am, said that I had arrived at 8:45, 11:15 and still waiting for the car to be unloaded. Went to the front office and the girl told I just had to wait cause she doesn’t know how delayed they are in the back.
Tried to talk to the unloading guy, they didn’t even look at you so you don’t ask them anything. If you have to come here by yourself, be prepared to spend all your day here no matter how early your appointment was.Oct 07, 2022 -
So after a long battle with these people I got my vehicle back. I went in yesterday morning and they still claimed my vehicle hasn't Been released to me. However, after a phone call to the right person they then claimed it has been released to me. However, they lost my license plates so I have reported them stolen. Also another employee involved herself yesterday named Wendy. I thought she was going to be helpful as my previous situation had nothing to do with her instead she participated in the bafoonery. When I signed up in the que to be seen she called everyone else in the store up ahead of me and pretended I never signed in even though i recieved a text message that I did. This was an attempt to make me irritated but really just makes her look prejudice. The linebacker girl instead of wearing a white sweater was wearing the same black yoga pants but a red sweater instead. She was in the back getting her done by a supervisor in her office, I guess they were preparing linebacker for the next football game. I took pictures of this and the video of Wendy dismissing me. It was Eric who claimed the don't have my plates, all these people are literally clueless and I don't know how they have jobs.
