Experienced some transmission and exhaust issues, and were thankful to have broken down right where Milo’s is located. They were incredibly helpful and were able to turn the situation around. The guys were personable and honest, and were thorough with us about what was going on. They helped us turn a scary situation into something manageable. Huge shout out to these guys!!
This man has completely ruined my life by keeping my truck for 37 days. He returned it because he didn’t know how to finish the upper radiator support, he installed new tires that rub, screams and yells at you and steals your money. My truck was street safe when I dropped it off, now the front headlights aren’t on it, and I still can’t even drive it legally.
I complained that he had the truck for over 30 days and hadn’t installed my back tail lights, or fixed my driver side mirror and he screamed at me telling me it only takes 30 minutes! There’s over 720 hours in 30 days and he couldn’t even take 30 minutes during that time? I had to have my boss call him and ask him to fix the driver mirror, and back tail lights before I got it back, in horrible conditions yesterday.
I disputed my $1700 cc charge and sent all these photos in, and I’ll also be calling the BBB.
Do. Not. Trust. This. Man. Or. Company.
The guys at this shop are awesome! Super knowledgeable and have helped me swap some tires a couple times. Highly would recommend and don’t forget to give the shop dogs some love!
Don’t trust Milo’s. After our car was towed by Milo’s…from 10 miles above Georgetown, to Siverplume, CO, they charged us $500 to tow it 12 miles. Unfortunately we didn’t notice when we picked it up that Milo’s had pulled our muffler off when they towed it and then jerry-rigged it with a thin wire so that it was barely hanging on underneath our Honda pilot. If they had any ethical standards at all they would have told us what they did instead of us realizing it several miles down the road. When we saw that it was loosely hanging low we had to find rope and tie it up more securely until we got home. It cost us over $300 to have it repaired. We’re so disappointed in them. What happened to honesty in business?
We are so lucky to have been able to use their services! Our alternator gave out and if they didn’t have the part, we would have had to have been towed to the nearest auto repair shop that was open. The guy who helped us was an angel in disguise and got us a new alternator and installed it. We are incredibly grateful to have met Kevin!
Milos speed shop was great. On a road trip driving I-70 toward Denver we had a vehicle issue that left us stranded at an exit not near anything on a Saturday late afternoon. After several phone calls we finally found Milo's Speed Shop which was open. Chris made sure that we were able to make it to a safe place to wait for our ride to show up and delivered our vehicle to the shop near Denver.
He was very considerate of our situation and very helpful.
I cannot speak highly enough about Milos. Chris went above expectations and figured out a problem I was having for quite a while with my car. I am so appreciative of the work he did and to have a trustworthy mechanic is awesome.
We had a blowout on I-70 just a few miles from Milo's due to a pothole. After calling around to different shops to find a replacement, I reached out to Milo's, and Chris was incredibly patient and understanding while I explored my options. Once I decided to go with them, I explained our situation—traveling cross-country with pets and a packed vehicle—and they went above and beyond to help us out.
Not only did they arrange a tow to their shop, but they also offered to take us and the car to the hotel we booked for the night so that we could unload the pets and our belongings. That level of service was a huge relief in an already stressful situation. Chris kept us updated every step of the way and let us know as soon as the tires were expected to arrive and when the tires should be on the car. True to their word, by the afternoon of the next day, they were placing the last tire on as we walked into the shop.
Milo’s offers fair prices, quality work, and exceptional customer service. A huge thank you to Chris and his dad for getting us safely back on the road. Highly recommend!
They had my vehicle for 6 months. Left the truck in worse condition than it was when I dropped it off then offered to meet up with me so he could fight me after the conflict of him being called out. So if you like getting into fights after not having your car fixed this is the place to go
I can’t praise this place enough! I hit ice on I-70 on Christmas night and unfortunately a road sign went through the front of my bumper and into my engine. Milo’s Speed Shop left their family to drive my car personally for me to their shop and made sure that I got home safely. The next day, they had already examined the damages before I got there that morning and was ready to communicate with the insurance company. Best Auto service I have ever had and truly caring and wonderful people! Highly recommended!
Had a issue with my car on I70 was able to pull over and found this mechanic nearby was excited and thought could at least get it checked out at some point in the day to see if I needed to get something major fixed or just something small. The guy in the store freaked out at me when I came in and told him my situation(leaving colorado for 6 weeks wanted to check if it was safe to try back to denver with my issue) he told me he had 4 cars in the shop already and would be at least 4 days before he could even look at the car.
Asked him if he could at any point today take a quick look to see if it was at least safe to drive back to denver, he still said 4 days minimum to even look at it, and instead of trying to help offer me solutions he started freaking out at me telling me how ppl called out of work and about the 4 cars under repair and how they also wanted to go home, I felt like I was being extremely calm considering my car had just broken down yet his attitude towards me almost caused me to freak out, very unprofessional and made my day worse,
horrible customer service had to wait for nearly 10 minutes at the counter just to be yelled at by a employee for asking about potential solutions for my car
Overall horrible customer service would much rather tow my car then go back into that shop with that employee would not recommend.
Drop my tire off at 1:00 in the afternoon guy called me at 3:55 said he's been trying to get my tire off the rim for 40 minutes he's closing the shop early what a joke this place is now stock on side of the road over night I asked for my tire and rim back the guy said we talk tomorrow what bad business this is
Should have at least gave the rim and tire back when asked you wood not be getting a bad review cuz I would have had it fixed by now and back to my freedom and happiness
This shop was incredible when my vehicle broke down on I-70. They towed it promptly and efficiently, getting me out of a tough spot. Their service didn't stop there; they fixed up my car quickly and did it for a very fair price. The staff was friendly and professional, making a stressful situation much easier to handle. Their quick response and excellent workmanship truly impressed me. Highly recommend this shop for their outstanding service and fair pricing. They turned a bad day into a positive experience with their reliability and skill.
We got a flat on 70, we called Chris at this shop. He told us to come on over. 10 minutes, $40 later, and we were on our way! He was very quick and very kind. Plume is full of kind people, we always have good experiences in this city.
Has a vehicle towed in to get an estimate. Was lied to repeatedly about time, then weeks later told my car was salvage with bad transmission. They also had the nerve to store my vehicle along a road and threatened me with it being impounded. Finally had enough of this nonsense and had my vehicle towed to a dealership to confirm the transmission was fine and it needed cv driveshaft and seal only. He also offered to scrap my vehicle free of charge, it was obviously a hustle from the get go. Many vehicles parked along a road at this shop, I’m sure I’m not the only person whom has been stranded due to this liar. DO NOT BELIEVE HIS LIES!
Terrible customer service. I called and told him about a break fluid leak coming from the master cylinder. A pretty simple fix. He then told me I could have it towed over and he’d take a look at it but that he didn’t like vans so he probably wouldn’t fix it.
Stopped by Milo’s in a pinch and his shop was like an oasis on my way out through the mountains. He helped me replace an odd part in a pinch and was super helpful in getting me back on the road quickly.
Locals are lucky to have him nearby and anyone passing through should keep it on the map just in case.
I love all the antique collectors items as well. Very cool place to have a near breakdown 😂

Our “vintage” 1999 Jeep Cherokee overheated on the way west on I70. There’s no service repair in Georgetown as of March 2023, so we brought it to Milo’s in Silver Plume. Chris was great with communication via text, labor and part prices were better than in the city, and best of all we got our beloved old Jeep running.
