This is the new go-to shop. The team at B&G Automotive diagnosed and were able to fix my car’s issues quickly and professionally. Connor was knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything clearly and was excellent to work with! The honesty and fair pricing were appreciated. The team kept me in the loop and ensured the job was done right. It's refreshing to find a team that truly takes pride in their work.

5 out 5 stars all around. Had a great experience with BG auto. I needed a pre-purchase inspection on a used car I was hoping to purchase from a dealer that day. They saw me on very short notice - got me in within a couple hours. The entire staff was helpful and friendly to work with. Not only did Jesse give me a thorough inspection report, but he took the time to explain to me in detail what each inspection point was and why the car I brought in ultimately did not “pass inspection.” For someone with not a lot of knowledge and a limited budget, Jesse helped me avoid buying a lemon which would’ve been a devastating financial pitfall. Would highly recommend their shop!

I had my rear shocks go out while visiting a friend in Longmont. It was Friday afternoon of Labor Day weekend, I was 50 mile from home, and I wasn't sure if it could be fixed that day. The gang at BG not only found all the parts, they got the car fixed and all the the original price they quoted. They also kept me informed every step of the way, so I knew what was happening.

Brought my 1993 Toyota Previa van into BG Automotive to get them to do a diagnostic on it and get it working after it has been sitting in my driveway for the past 18 months without running. Each time I bring a vehicle in to BG they have accomplished exactly what I have asked of them. This time they went above and beyond to get my van working again. Turns out the Fuse Box was very badly corroded and the fuses were so brittle they shattered when trying to remove them. Conor and Justin kept me informed and completed the diagnostics and repairs in a timely manner and with success! Thank you for your patience and skill. Its rare to find someone to keep my 33 year old ranch van running!

Brought my car into BG Auto during a road trip after alternator/battery failed. Explained my situation and they started checking out the car at 5pm. Work was done by 2pm the next day, and I was back on the road! Very thankful for their high quality work and efficiency.

Good experience here, though I did have a relatively major hiccup. Super happy with the work and timeliness. Advisor walked me through all the recommendations and wasn't pushy about extra services. Did have an issue where I asked to do the struts, and they ended up doing the struts and shocks. I wasn't planning on doing those. Really just a miscommunication. Recommend advisor and customer confirm both the services AND the costs before the work is done so there are not surprises. In the end my Highlander is riding better than ever. Staff are clearly knowledgeable. I had two major surprises though. First, the estimate for needed service was $4100. Shocking and ultimately caused me to trade my 10 year old car because I’ll never recover that money and there are other bad things coming. Not their fault and it is what it is. The surprise that bothered me was an unexpected/ undiscussed bill for $200 for the evaluation. If you are serious about transparency, you should consider a brief written estimate for the evaluation. The quote was shocking enough. A surprise charge adds insult to injury.

Excellent shop! In addition to the window issue that prompted my visit to BG Automotive they did a quick check for other maintenance issues that required attention. Before any work was started, we discussed each issue and decided on a plan of action. They completed each agreed upon action quickly and I was able to have the car back on the driveway at the end of the 2nd day running and driving much better than when I brought it in.

I'm so glad I found this place! Travis and Kiley were so nice and knowledgeable to me. They were a joy to work with and explaining what was going on with my vehicle and recommending things that needed to be done. Being up front with the cost and showing pictures what they found. From now on this will be my new service facility for my vehicles. Thank you so much. I can't say anything bad about BG Automotive. Thanks again to all of the team at this facility.

They were open and honest about my car's needs, went above in beyond in providing a detailed/written breakdown of my issues, and worked out a plan of action for my car's future care. Very happy with the service I received here for my Subaru. I had an ongoing electrical issue for about a year and the dealership kept trying to charge me $200 to tell me to get my battery replaced. Two batteries replaced by warranty and I decided to try these guys out and they persisted in trying to figure out my issue. They had to drive it around a lot before the issue would present itself, but for me with my daily driving it was a huge hassle. They were able to fix it and I am very pleased.

Last name Draper. BG Automotive came recommended by a friend and I was in need of a shop ASAP. Luckily they were 7 minutes away. I am a very skeptical person when it comes to mechanics but I can say when I walked in the door my instincts told me I was in the right place. Jess was ever so helpful , and what told me I was in the right place is when he told me they would do a full safety inspection on my car along with the issue at hand and whatever my car needed he would put in priority as if it were his family that he was looking after to be safe. And that he did , with no pressure and explaining in detail what I needed. I was offered a loaner car so I could go about my business ( which was a blessing in itself as I had no idea and figured it would be days before the repairs would be completed)However I took it in on a Wednesday morning and had it back by Thursday early afternoon! Now that’s service! The communication was on point and was treated with utmost courtesy. When he told me it was taken on a test drive and purs like a kitten he was not kidding! All of the above being said I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BG Automotive and the professionals that work there from front of the house to the back! If I could offer more stars I would!

I think my favorite part of the experience was the detailed breakdown of problems and faults found with the vehicle. They have pictures and video to show you exactly what they are looking at. Let's you appreciated what is going on under the hood, and under the car in general. Staff were kind polite, and understand people are usually working on a budget and do their best for you to address the most important concerns with your vehicle. On top of that when you get the invoice for the work done, they also send you estimated prices for any of the work you declined to do so you can budget for them in the future. Excellent service all around.

Just had the oil, battery, and fluids changed in my RAV4 at BG Automotive, and as always—they did an amazing job! Needed extensive repairs on an older vehicle and BG went out of their way to work with me within my budget. Vehicle is running great now and couldn't be happier. Integrity. Service. Doing right by the customer. This shop went out of its way to assist me after my services from Way (through RepairPal) sent me to two different shops for a “free” inspection - one shop had canceled their agreement 3 months prior so they sent me away, and the second shop RepairPal sent me to the next day was not even aware of the service I was explaining they sent me for. Jesse at BG offered to speak to RepairPal, who admitted they didn’t really have an agreement per se, they just assumed any shop would love to do free work in exchange for potential service work that may be needed as a result of the inspection. Hmmmmm. I will be canceling that subscription! BG was super helpful - I will definitely go back when I do need service in the future.

We put new tires on my wife’s car and she went to BG for an alignment. They took the car back, put it on the rack, gave it a once over and said it didn’t need an alignment, no charge. That is fantastic honesty and integrity!! The car is due soon for 5 year fluids change and BG will get our business!!

Started Overcharging DRASTICALLY. We have been going there for YEARS(like 7 at least) literally through three different cars & as of the last year the quotes i have gotten are thousands of dollars above other shops - service & parts. And not only for the actual work but last week tried to charge us multiple different $200 diagnostics that wouldn't have included service/repair. IDK if they have a new owner/manager/decision maker, but the prices and customer service have been bad - not transparent & overcharging.

Called around a lot of mechanics don’t work with breathalyzers, and they offered every solution to get my car looked at. Beyond amazing customer customer service, not just for me but for everyone walking through their doors. Very thorough with their diagnostic and super transparent. I highly recommend this auto shop to anyone. Will be bringing my future cars in.

Good customer service, poor quality of work. I was assured the premium rate BG charges is in order to provide the utmost attention to detail and an assurance the job will be done right. However, that was not my experience. I took my car in for gaskets to be replaced and a turbo inlet to be installed. After adding up the costs of hoses, gaskets, and the engine wiring harness they insisted needed to be done; the total went almost $1k over my budget. None of the repairs were intricate but they still failed. Before I left I popped the hood and saw my air intake scoop was missing. They quickly grabbed it and installed it. Later I noted about 4 loose vacuum lines, one popped right off its joint. The hose directly from the turbo outlet to the bypass valve was a 1/4 inch backed off along with a loose clamp. My car came back with more problems than it arrived with, I quickly addressed each one myself. I was told only hoses that needed replacing would be done, but if a hose/clamp cannot be installed properly it raises concern for how over $1k in hoses broke during the repairs in the first place. I was assured this is not the quality of work they strive for and promise to their customers. However, I was still left with the full-hefty repair bill and nothing except apologies from their team. I cannot recommend these services to others since I cannot trust a hose to be clamped properly leaving the shop. All the concerns I found were easily visible and fixable, these should have been spotted by a shop foreman before returning the vehicle. Smaller things I noticed was my wiper fluid had been dumped and replaced by an odd smelling dark grey/green fluid with film. My alternator belt was also very over tightened causing concern it would have broken/failed if I did not adjust the tension afterwards. The customer service was good, the service to my car was not. I am including a picture of the hose from the turbo not installed properly. If this popped off while running it could have been catastrophic to my vehicle. I simply backed the clamp off, seated the hose, then moved the clamp back over. Repairs don’t get simpler than this, it’s unacceptable from a shop charging these high rates for quality work that was not delivered. Edit: after reviewing the invoice I found they replaced the purge solenoid valve without informing me before hand. All parts are marked up but they charged me double the price of the part directly from Valley Subaru. A parts markup at shops is expected, a 100% part markup without confirming with the client is deceitful.

I have been taking my vehicle to the Longmont BG Automotive location for several years now. Customer service is and has always been outstanding! Jesse & Jeff at the front desk are super kind and professional. I highly recommend this location to anyone who requires work on their vehicles. I took it in again today for more repairs and as usual the entire team was great and the repairs were completed on time. Thanks

Jess and the whole crew are wonderful to work with. Had my vehicle in several times there. Had a warranty issue they fixed it without question and fixed another issue without hesitation. Honest, upfront, thorough. Bring my vehicles there anytime.
