Some of these reviews on here are suspect. I took my truck there for oil leak. The guy took a look at it, gave me a price ahead, told me what was wrong, straight up. He fixed it and I couldn’t be happier. I like supporting the local shops and this guy was great.
Couldn’t be happier with B&J! They helped me out so much when I first arrived to Boulder. Excellent prices, quick turnaround on mechanical repairs and courteous on top of it all. Great spot for storing vehicle/camper as well. Thank you again!
No free check-up. OE Parts are more expensive, of course, of what you can buy them online on your own, and the labor rate is a little high. Also, the time charge to do a simple maintenance repair such as changing a hose or belt is a little expensive. However, he is honest with his estimates and gives you pictures as well. One of the repairs I had to go back again, but Bill fixed the issue without charging me labor again. I just paid for the part that he purchase from the dealer (always cost more then parts bought online).
The response to my review that he didn't give all details and his response on the phone I would go back. And he lost another star.
To sum it up he said he could do anything and everything. I own a 06 330i and didn’t know what had to be done, just wanted the car fixed and over with. Called him up dropped my car off and waited about a week before I heard anything… after blowing up the shop with calls and voicemails I finally get a call and tell me to ask for a refund. (It’s a copart car and sales are final you know the risks) told me he wouldn’t charge me anything as long as I got him a 12 pack of bud lights and I’m barely 18 lol. said he couldn’t do anything about it. Anyway went to pick up my car and he was very flustered the whole time. Told me the rear passenger wheel assembly was shot when all it needed was an alignment… I ended up recently finishing the car in 2 hours. It needed new front shocks, driver side control arm and the tierod assembly and I’m no mechanic plus it passed state inspection. This chumps good for stuff he can see that’s wrong and overcharge you with. He’s a part changer when he feels like it and not a diagnose-r. Wouldn’t recommend, find someone else who actually cares
I needed major repairs done to one of my vehicles and they were able to get it done in less than 2 days. Also very communicative about exactly what parts they would need to get the job done.
Billy and Al give you the true, traditional relationship with a mechanic shop. They care about creating relationships and they want to earn your business. If you give them that opportunity you will not be disappointed. Giving your business to this shop is a “no-brainer”. Do it!
Made reservations to puck up a uhaul vehicle. They closed for 2 days and didn't call me to tell me that I would have to drive to 2 different uhaul locations to get the equipment I .
