In 2023, I brought my Dodge Avenger in because it was overheating. After running a diagnostic, I was told the oil cooler needed to be replaced, which I agreed to even though it was very costly. However, on the drive home, the car overheated again before I even made it back.
I returned the vehicle and was then told that the radiator fan was not working, even though I was assured the fan had been working prior to the oil cooler replacement. From my perspective, the oil cooler did not need to be replaced urgently, even if it was leaking. The overheating issue was more likely caused by the faulty radiator fan, which should have been diagnosed and repaired first. Addressing that issue initially could have saved me a significant amount of money.
Because of this experience, I lost trust in the service provided and will never return.Feb 08, 2026 -
5 stars - Great customer service, and very communicative.
5 stars - Car feels great. Job very clearly WELL DONE.
3 stars - (EXPENSIVE) their labor is significantly more expensive than many of the local shops I know. $150-$170/hour is the going labor rate. I only paid due to my urgent need to get something fixed.
Their labor rate is $261.75/per hour. $100 more per hour than the shops I usually go to.Feb 03, 2026 -
They did an inspection of my vehicle I paid for. They told me it was a 900 dollar fix and did the work. Right before they god done they called me with another problem they supposedly missed and got another bill for an additional 4500 dollars. That they supposedly couldn't see. I would of said no if they would of been found in the inspection. They intentionally waited to tell me after they tore my car apart. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS. I NOW WILL BE CONTACTING A LAWYER AND CONSUMER AFFAIRS

I was traveling from Ohio to Colorado in our bus that is also our full time home, when the head gaskets blew at a near by gas station, we found Saul's and right off the bat they were willing to help and work with us and give us options about different repairs. They were very thorough and transparent and helped with financing! We were in a bind because as you know head gaskets aren't cheap AT ALL! They heard our story and really were willing to work with us to get our home back! And with heart work and heart she is up and running! Special thanks the Ryan and Christian for being so so kind and answering all the calls! Truly good humans inside and outside the shop! They don't care if your female or male they treat you equally with respect and honesty We owe them everything!

Brought a vehicle here for a pre-purchase inspection (which was fairly expensive), and they missed a number of obvious issues, including a dented wheel, low brake pads, and uneven brake pad wear.
When we brought these issues to their attention after the fact to request a refund, we were told that they would review the details and get back to us but never did.
Would not recommend. Definitely pencil whipping the inspection process.Jan 19, 2026 -
My husband & I ran into an overheating/coolant leak while out - called Saul’s and within 5-minutes of being there they had our Lexus up and located the problem.
They were able to give us a new radiator within 3-hours to put us back on the road to Colorado Springs.
They also threw in a free tire rotation that we asked for & needed!
Highly recommendJan 19, 2026 -
Took my car here after sliding on some black ice and smashing into a curb pretty hard during our first snow this season. There was some pretty extensive damage to my car including the front passenger side axle, control arm, ball joint, tie rod, struts, wheel, and unfortunately my subframe as well. Also knocked my sensors out of alignment (anti-collision sensor, tire pressure sensor, etc., were all non-functional when I brought my car in).
I went through insurance and initially insurance gave me a very unfair estimate for my damages, not even acknowledging the subframe damage. Luckily for me, Ryan was extremely persistent with them, and got a 2nd adjuster out to acknowledge the damages to my subframe, which gave me a better estimate, which is GREATLY appreciated. I think most car shops wouldn't take time out of their day to do stuff like deal with a customer's insurance adjuster, but this kind of stuff just shows me that they genuinely care about helping out the customer and fixing things correctly at this shop.
As soon as repairs were approved, my car was ready to pickup less than 2 days later, which amazed me. I thought the parts alone would take longer than 2 days to come, not including the labor, but they worked extremely quickly on my car and had it all ready to go within 2 days of me approving the work; completely rebuilt front front passenger side suspension, new wheel, new subframe installed on the car, and they recalibrated all of my sensors for me as well. I've been extremely happy with the services, and also customer service, I received here. My car drives just like it did when I first got it, smooth as butter again, and everyone who I dealt with (Ryan, Christian, and Saul) made the process extremely smooth and easy. Couldn't be happier with the service I received at Saul's! I highly recommend this shop if you want any sort of work done on your suspension as they did a phenomenal job with my car. Thank you all again!Jan 04, 2026 -
The best place for wasting both your time and money. Was trying to get my truck checked out and after charging me $50, they offered for me to spend $8500 replacing the entire steering and front suspension in order to fix a problem they had no evidence existed. They also failed to complete the rest of the “comprehensive” inspection, including not noting that a headlight was out, discussing the intermittently working turn signals I had mentioned, or the fact that the speedometer doesn’t work when under 10 miles an hour. A free obd scan at autozone would have given me more information. Oh, and all the other shops I called estimated about $6000 in costs for the exact same parts and services they wanted $8500 for.
Lastly, while sitting there, a man came in to get help with his headlight and they charged him $50 for the same inspection just to quote him for the cost of fixing.
(Edit) that’s interesting you say you don’t charge a diagnostic fee because this is a screenshot from your website saying you do.Jan 03, 2026 -
We have had an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience with Saul’s Auto Tek Repair in Centennial, CO during the course of 12/29/25 to 1/2/26.
We paid $3,500 to have suspension work done after reporting a creaking/cracking noise on the driver’s side. When the car was returned, the exact same issue was still happening. We called within three hours of picking it up and were asked to bring the car back.
During the second appointment, we were told the part they installed was faulty and that a replacement would be ordered. They kept the car for two full days. When we called for an update, we were told the car had been ready for over an hour, but they were “too busy” to call us. That alone was very unprofessional.
Unfortunately, the problem is still not fixed, and now the cracking noises appeared on the passenger side that were not present before. We called the shop again shortly after receiving the car the second time and were advised to bring it in again. At this point—after multiple visits, days without our vehicle, and a very large bill—we asked for a refund. This was flatly refused by Ryan the Service Manager. We are taking other measures to get our funds returned as the car will need to be serviced at another shop.Jan 02, 2026 -
Brought my vehicle in to get 2 bolts replaced on my suspension, paid $500+ in labor to come pick the car up advising all was complete, checked, test drive completed and car was ready to go… all to find out one bolt was still missing/broken from my rear shock and was never replaced. Had I not noticed this before picking up the vehicle… could’ve been an accident on the road had my shock fell off while driving. Christian my service advisor was accompanying to the situation considering it was not his fault. Overall, my experience was quite discouraging as I had good experience with Saul and his team in the past. Hopefully this was just a fluke

Great group over at Saul’s Autotek! Took my now newly purchased Lexus to their team for a pre purchase inspection. They walked me through all the good and the bad and took me under the car to see for myself. Very thorough and greatly appreciated. I will trust these guys with all my future business. Thanks Saul!

I have had multiple services with 2 different cars. The service is second to none. They are upfront and honest with you even if you may not like it, which I appreciate. They have gone out of their way to accommodate. Thank you to Sauls Autotek for everything.

My car was acting up and threw a low battery sign and check engine light came on. Also needed the light bulb replaced and oil changed. I paid the diagnostic fee and got their feed back. And the prices were out of this world. I only went to them because they were so close to where I live. They wanted over $300 just to change my oil. Took it to a place I trust in Denver and only $100 for the oil change. Please be aware their pricing is high compared to other shops. Nothing got resolved there. So I feel like I'm missing out on money because I wanted the convenience of them being close to home.

From the moment I stepped in to the shop, I was so impressed. And it didn’t stop there! It’s supper clean, and everyone is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable! You almost feel like You’ve known them! You’re actually treat like a long time friend! I found my diamond in the rough! Seriously, how many times have You heard this? “Do You want to bring Your vehicle in?” You “Expect” to be put on a long wait schedule list! Not here! Instead, You hear, “well, how about now?” WHAT, YOU’RE KIDDING ME, NOW? I brought my Jeep in ON A SUNDAY MORNING!!! And they worked on it right away and fixed it within a few hours! I Love this place!!

I was vacationing from out of state when someone attempted to steal my truck. They ruined the ignition assembly and left me stranded. Saul’s Autotek Denver saved me! I was driving home by 5pm the next day. The shop was efficient, affordable, and communicated wonderfully. I was extremely pleased with how quickly they got the job done!
I’m forever grateful for them.Nov 24, 2025 -
Dealing with mechanic shops it was the worst experience of my life. I brought in one of multiple estimates from other shops and RYAN, at Sal's Automotive in Centennial, CO, said he could do better than the other companies. I end up paying 60% more ($3,199.00) for the pitman arm, torsion bar and trailer plug. My truck was damaged in their care. The running bar was completely destroyed and Ryan refused to take responsibility or pay for the damage. I plan to pursue my property damages through a law suit. Unfortunately I can do nothing about the rude, disrespectful, unprofessional manner in which I was treated.

Tried to upsell work I had already told them was recently done “strongly recommended” for an “open boot” NOT OPEN, slightly over greased by me.
Along with quotes for about $6k of other work that doesn’t need to be done. $3800 for all body mounts because one is lightly cracked?!
Couldn’t provide proof that the $330 alignment they did is now in spec, the two reports they did provide showed that only 1 of 3 measurements is IN spec, and was IN when brought in! But NOW my steering center position is off to the left! Wasn’t when brought in. Other concerns asked about not even mentioned. DO NOT RECOMMEND!Oct 28, 2025 -
Saul's is friendly and willing. We paid their $50 diagnostic fee to determine why our rear camera did not work. Only to have them tell us that we needed a $298.00 dollar battery and a $ 100.00 installation fee to complete the diagnostic. We declined to pay for a new $298.00 battery + $100.00 installation but were charged the $50 and send on our way with no real resolution or satisfaction. Friendly does not always mean fairness. Buyer beware.

This was my first time going to Saul’s Autotek. They were the only auto mechanic shop near me that was open in my area late on a Saturday. I was surprised to hear that they are even open on Sundays. I had an amazing experience working with Ryan. He was very personable and friendly. I love that they offer a free Uber service to their customers if you have to drop your vehicle off. They were very communicative with photos and explanations of the work that was recommended. My only complaint would be the prices were a little high, but you get what you pay for and their professionalism and quality of work and awesome staff made my auto repair experience seamless. Thank you Ryan!

Saul’s has probably got to be the worst auto shop in the Denver metro area, incredibly over priced, poor turn around times, and to top it off you will drive off their lot without a working vehicle. I was charged thousands of dollars, only to come back with the same issue days later and being forced to spend hundreds more on the same issue that should’ve been taken care of the first time. Didn’t have an operating vehicle for almost a month while it sat in their shop, not being fixed, being charged almost four grand, and then drove my car off their lot with the check engine light still on. If I worked at this establishment, I would genuinely be embarrassed about how bad I am at my job and how poorly the customers are treated.

I recently brought in my wife's 2014 BMW X3 to Saul’s Autotek. I was seeking expert level diagnosis and repair work for a loud vibration issue on the car.
WHAT A MISTAKE!
THE DIAGNOSTICS:
A representative from the shop called me the same day I dropped off the car. He was certain that the issue was a result of a drive shaft that needed replacement. The amount was approximately $1,600 for parts and labor. I approved the cost of the repair over the phone based upon your expert diagnosis and the representative clearly stating that it would fix the issue. On the same call, the representative said it would be fixed in 24 hours.
I did not receive any calls as promised. When I called the shop, they said they replaced the drive shaft, but the vibration was not fixed. They proceeded to tell me that maybe it was the bearings, maybe the tires are off balance, maybe it was the CV axles, and offered a whole bunch of unnecessary services with no commitment to resolving the issue the car was brought in for.
A couple of more days passed and there was no indication that the shop was going to be able to fix the vibration. There was a total lack of communication; I was told that the team was looking at it currently but when I drove by twice, the car was sitting in the parking lot without a technician looking at it.
I went to pick up the car with the intention of taking it to another service center or trying to fix it myself. They would not release the car without me paying for a part that did not need to be replaced! A representative moved my wife’s car into their facility, not with intentions of fixing it, but to prevent me from taking my wife's car back.
I was forced pay for the bill to get my wife’s car back even though I had not signed any documents or agreed to any terms allowing this shop to legally hold my wife's car and prevent me from accessing it.
THE FIX:
This shop replaced the front drive shaft (transfer case to front differential) when the issue was the main drive shaft (transfer case to rear differential).
Once I got my wife’s car back, I was able to view/diagnose where the vibration was coming from within 10 minutes by using a $20 borescope (camera on a semi rigid cord). The main drive shaft (transfer case to rear differential) was off center due to a missing bolt ($4) and a worn "guibo" (rubber spacer $20). I replaced the guibo and installed the bolt, and the car now works with no vibrations. How did the shop miss this?
A kind formal letter and email was sent requesting a refund. No response was received.
I would not recommend this shop to anyone. Here are the reasons:
*Improper diagnosis
*Replacement of part that did not need replacing and charging me for it
*Lack of communication / transparency
*Lack of urgency
*Lack of professionalism
*A disregard of the Colorado Motor Vehicle Repair Act C.R.S. 42-9-101
I found out this shop has many complaints ranging from Yelp to the Better Business Bureau. The owner “Saul” responds to some of them. He might respond to this one with an excuse, but it is just that, an excuse. I have the drive shaft the shop wrongly replaced in my possession, and it is in perfect working order. I have recorded evidence of the actual problem and the fix. This shop should have been able to easily diagnose and fix.
Update as 10/8/2025:
Saul's Autotek responded below with some fake positioning statement for you all to see. I contacted them and got "Saul is out of the office" response from them. Of course, no call back or resolution.Oct 08, 2025 -
I took my car to Saul's to find out my transmission was bad. They were able to tell me what was wrong with my car a lot faster than the dealership. They got me in on the same day I called too. The diagnostics price was more than reasonable.

I took my Acura in over the fourth of July for a battery issue. and was told we would have it back within one day. Three days later the owner called, apologized that it had taken so long and had us come in to explain that Alternator and battery needed to be replaced. After a short discussion where I simply said why was I told 3 separate times it would be ready by the end of day and wasn't he offered us a 100$ discount on a 1600$ charge if we left a positive review. I have not left any review to this point. This past week I had to take my car into a different mechanic to find out that alternator was not installed properly and was now going to cost another 1500$ to fix. Not only was the car not delivered on time, the over priced repair was not done properly. Do not take your car here.

I found Saul's in a roundabout way, i do uber and picked up several customers from them and i of course asked each passenger if they were happy with their dealings and all were very happy so when i had a rear bearings issue i asked them to fix it. They did a great job! The growling noise was gone and i felt as I felt when i purchased my Dodge 1500 new! So quiet! Dealing with their guys at the front desk was enjoyable they were honest with me and explained how they came to the conclusion it was my bearings making the noise. I dont give a lot of reviews but if you are looking for mechanics you can trust and feel proud of the work they have dont to fix your vehicle i say give them a try! You wont be dissapointed.

Recently I took my 2016 Subaru Forester to Saul’s with some electronic problems. There were four specific issues.
1. Key fob stopped working
2. Door lights stopped working when opening the door.
3. Infotainment system screen was completely black even during reversing the car camera display was not showing in the screen.
4. Top display with clock was resetting to car’s manufacture date.
I had issues with 1 and 3 few weeks back and from Subaru dealership they changed one or two fuses and things started working.
When I again started noticing this issue I took the car to Saul’s and specifically asked them to check the fuses.
I kept my car for the diagnosis and they mentioned the body control module(BCM) which is a computer needs to be replaced ($3200). I agreed and we got the parts after a week or so and they replaced and reprogrammed the new BCM. I was told the car is ready to go and everything is working except for the key because the key is physically/mechanically damaged. I was surprised to hear that as the key was perfectly working before the issue started. They I did provide them my other original key I had from the date I bought the car. They check that too and then said the receiver of the keys are damaged and the receiver needs to be replaced ($1200). But I decided to wait as this key fob was not a pressing issue for me. When the car was delivered to me at their pRking lot after changing BCM, I started my car at their parking lot and all the original issues were still there. Nothing was changed from the time I dropped off my car and was taking it. I double checked, triple checked and when I was convinced that nothing has been changed even after spending $3200, I went inside and called their front desk technician. I decided not to take the car and kept it unless the issues are fixed.
3 days later I received a call and they said my car is fixed and there was an issue with FUSEs. So they either replaced or did something with the fuse which actually resolved the issue. The car is running perfectly fine after that.
So what we found out is they lack experience in diagnosing electrical issues and because of that there is a high chance taht the customer willl be misguided and will spend thousands of $ eventually just like me. I still doubt that there was issue with BCM as even after changing BCM car was exactly like it was before. The issue was resolved after changing rearranging fuses, which I insisted you check from the beginning.
One of the positives is their customer communication.
If you are coming to Sauls’s for any electrical issues please make sure to ask them to start from the basic. What I felt they blindly rely on code scanner instead of checking manually the basic things in my case the Fuses even after I told them to.
Overall I am NOT happy with the service I received against the money I spent. I hope they will find this feedback useful for their learning and no other customer will go through this extra spending.Sep 30, 2025 -
Money hungry.. lying.. unreliable auto shop. Brought in my truck to get a quick and easy oil change for the convenience. I called before hand and spoke with Vanessa who said it was a first come first serve basis and that the line was not long when I called.. I brought it in right after the phone call and was told 3 people were in front of me and that it would take “a little longer” than 30-45 minutes. After about an hour — they brought me out to my truck to tell me that it needs over $3k of repairs.. I’ve had my truck looked at by two different mechanics in the last 2 months who never mentioned anything of the repairs that they are claiming it needs.
I told them to only do the oil change and to patch a tire that had a nail in it.. I asked for the quote for the oil change + tire patch and the front desk guy told me it was going to be $194 (which I thought was already high) & that it will be more time for them to actually do the oil change now. He then asked if I would like a ride home? My response was: “Will it be over 2 hours? If so, then yes.” And he replied “Oh absolutely it will not be more than 2 hours.”
For reference: I first walked into the shop at 12:00pm. And they brought me back for the diagnosis around 1:15-1:30pm & said it would not be any longer than 2 additional hours… It was now about 5:00pm and I was still waiting.. when I asked what the hold up was, he proceeded to tell me that one of HIS employees broke the oil filter cover when trying to put it back on & that they needed to order a new part for it. He also mentioned that THEY would cover this charge since it was their mistake… they were unable to finish a simple oil change and told me that they are rushing to resolve the issue and that it would be done by 7 or 8am the next day.. they did not finish it until 12pm the NEXT day.
When checking out — they did NOT cover the cost for the broken oil filter cover & tried to blame my previous mechanic saying that “they screwed it on too tight”… if this was the case then why was I being told that it broke when Saul’s Autotek was PUTTING IT BACK ON. I asked to speak with Saul the owner & was told by the same front desk guy that Saul was the person that did NOT approve the charge for the cover and that I wouldn’t be allowed to speak with him. Absolutely ridiculous if you ask me that I was charged $300 for a simple oil change and tire patch when they were the ones that caused the oil filter cover to break. Even more ridiculous that I wasn’t allowed to voice my opinion to the owner.
I just wanted to be done with these guys and move on but no longer than 5 minutes driving off the lot I had my oil pressure light turn on (see photos).. I took it into a different mechanic right away to take a quick look and they showed me that the oil was leaking and showed me the levels of the oil with the dip stick which was well below where it should’ve been for a fresh oil change.
I took it back to Saul’s and they proceeded to tell me that “nothing was wrong” and manually turned off my oil pressure light.. You can clearly see that the light was on and the oil that is leaking from my truck in the photos… Still no compensation for any of the troubles that I was put through. After looking at their reviews, it makes sense why there’s so many 1 star reviews. I WOULD NOT recommend this place to anyone looking for any work at all unless you want to be treated poorly and taken advantage of. I will be taking my truck in elsewhere to make sure they didn’t cause any more problems.
EDIT:
This company is now claiming that I “have the wrong facility”. And have noticed they are doing the same for all the other people who wrote similar reviews. That alone speaks for itself. Shady way of doing business.Aug 28, 2025 -
Hello, My name is Zach. I visited Saul's shop and we started off very great about our conversation. I needed my business vehicles services and after we discussed more and more he started to rush me getting my vehicles in and out of his shop. Once i was late to pickup 1 vehicle he started treating me like crap. After i pickup one of the cars i still see my oil change light is still on and the service that i needed done to my vehicle was not done after i brought the vehicle to another shop to see if they can tell me what was wrong and what i needed. It was still making sounds and nothing changed. I gave him a call and i got no answer. I showed up at his shop and he wouldn't talk to me what so ever. If you are looking to bring your car to a good shop this is not the one to bring your vehicles to. Nor should he think of taking advantage of young men because this is 1 awesome way he just backstab'd himself and break his business.
BE WARE OF GUYS LIKE HIM SERIOUSLY!!!Aug 26, 2025 -
This was our first experience with Saul's. Upon calling them, they were immediately very friendly and accommodating. This persisted throughout our whole experience.
We needed some front end work done on our 1965 Ford Falcon, plus a couple other minor things, and Saul's was able to get us in right away for a free evaluation. They had our car on the lift and invited us into their shop to see our car on the lift to explain their recommendations, as well as give us a nice tour of their facilities.
Samantha, Aaron, and Roger where all wonderful to work with. They kept us informed regularly of updates on our car via text, chat, and phone. They thought they would need our car for about a week while they ordered and installed parts, but were actually able to get our car back to us in just under a week. They kept the car inside every night for us for safe keeping.
When we went to pick up our car, they had it on the lift again so we could see first hand the work they performed, and to answer any questions.
Overall, we were very impressed with their work on our classic car. We had been to two previous shops who performed poorly and were a waste of money. The previous shops completely missed safety items we specifically took the car in to check for, but Saul's identified issues, showed us the issues, and fixed them. Saul's also came in just over $100.00 of their original quote, so there were no surprises. We definitely would bring our classic car back to them for any future work we may need.
We highly recommend Saul's for their professionalism, communication, workmanship, and no-pressure recommendations. Thanks Saul's Autotek!Apr 20, 2025 -
Mind BAFFLING! Brought my truck in on Tuesday with an eta of service being done Wednesday. From Wednesday to Friday they kept needing “new” parts which was fine but now it’s Saturday 3 pm I just got the truck back. With $1,000 more expensive than originally estimated. On top of that on the drive home the truck goes completely haywire with codes. I pull over and three , I repeat THREE sensors/hose were left UNPLUGGED! One of them being a FUEL LINE! Seriously, what is going on with this shop!?
Correction 4 sensors/hoses!!!
Update: 12/09
Upon further inspection on my fuel line sensor harness, come to find out their wiring is completely unacceptable. It is most likely the reasoning for the code being thrown. P018D. Still have not been reached out too either!Dec 09, 2024
