Not the least bit surprised to see all the raving reviews about Rocky! He went absolutely above and beyond for me this evening after such a stressful and irritating day. It truly restored some faith in humanity for me. Though my experience with staff at Scorpion was a bit odd, Rocky himself turned around everything around! He is such a gem to your company.
LOW CLEARANCE MASTERS - had a very tricky tow to deal with in a low clearance area. Scorpion was super helpful and got the exact truck needed over quickly . It took me 6 companies to find these guys they’re the best!!!!
Insurance company contracted scorpion for us after a breakdown, 90min estimate. 2 hours later we try contacting them multiple times, no answer. Call the insurance company, they can't get a hold of scorpion either. They've received zero updates from scorpion. Had to arrange a different tow with someone that answers the phone, and shows up.
Rocky from Scorpion Towing was dispatched to help me with my car that wouldn’t start. I was prepared to spend $100+ to have my car towed back to my home, but he was able to get it started and running for me and helped me figure out what’s actually wrong with my car. He was patient and understanding and saved me money. Thank you Rocky!
Rocky called my cell within 10 minutes of putting the call in for help, gave me an ETA, and got there right when he said he would. The front wheel was about to fall off and I wasn't sure how he was going to get my truck up on the flatbed but he knew his stuff and got it up and then back down at the shop with no more damage than I already did myself. Very friendly and professional I'd definitely call him again next time I'm in a pinch.
I called these guys for a 60 mile tow from aurora to Loveland my lower driverside balljoint dropped on a sunday leaving work, headed home getting onto the 470N, they were there in 30 min the truck was super nlce and clean, the driver did his best to not cause any more damage to my truck , we made good conversation on the way home, the driver helped me set my truck on my spare tire to keep it off the ground so I could work on it sense I didnt have a jackstand, the tow was not ridiculously expensive, it was actually less than I thought it'd be, all in all I give these guys a 5 star service especially for being 430p on a Sunday when I called em ,I'll call em again next time my ford is found on road dead

These guys are THE WORST! If your insurance company calls them (as mine did) proceed to panic only if you haven't packed a tent, a month's worth of supplies, solar panels, and all your remote work gear. They texted me a wait time of 120 minutes, but it's been over five hours. Yet, not a peep from them, even after I called and left voicemail.
After waiting four hours I called my insurance company. They called Scorpion while I was waiting on the phone, got a response, and relayed a promise of 45 minutes. An hour later with no communication, I again called my insurance company. This time Scorpion didn't even respond to them. While on the phone with my insurance company, they cancelled the Scorpion order and found another company. That company called me 5 minutes later to get my location and other details and is now on their way.
In summary, Scorpion has worse than non-professional service. They seem to irritate easily and drop anyone who calls and asks where they are (read the other reviews), give nonsense estimates, and never keep you updated. No excuse by the owner justifies this behaviour. They should NOT be in business and you should not attempt to use them.
Postmortems:
The "other" towing company arrived within 30 minutes, calling me before arrival, and promptly and professionally got me unstuck.
The Scorpion owner called me several hours later (something like 7 hours after the initial call) offering excuses for his late response, and to ask for location details. Could he have already read his "new" review? Needless to say, I told him the issue was resolved.
My car rental company "placed" a call out to another towing company. After the expected time passed I called. That particular towing company was not even notified. I had my car rental reach out again and they found Scorpion. The owner himself came to get me within 15 mins after hearing I was stranded so long. Drove me all the way back from Louisville to Denver to my rental place. I am very grateful!
ETA for a towing was 2:33, they did answer a call to say they had another job at DIA and let us know it would be closer to 3:30. Then went silent, stopped answering calls, never showed up to get the job done. Here we are 4 hours after the ETA and they have been unresponsive. Based on the other reviews this makes sense. Would not recommend
Our car rental company dispatched Scorpion to switch out our 2WD car for a 4WD on our ski trip. Ron picked up the Grand Cherokee from Avis, brought it up to Keystone from Denver, and took back the Buick. He stayed in touch during the trip to give us updates etc. He was great to work with, very professional.
Never go here. Got a message from them at 10:43am that the EST was 1:27pm. Called them at 1:50 to ask what the deal was. He told me the EST was just the soonest it could be there and then when I questioned how long it would take he said it could be a few more hours so I questioned why it would tell me 1:27 was the EST if it wasn’t. He laughed and told me they weren’t an Uber. I asked him why that was funny and he said “you know what I’m just going to cancel your tow truck so we don’t have to deal with you” and hung up after wait 3 hours for them in the snow. Will make sure I tell everyone the employees are some D bags this place sucks.
I had a great experience with Scorpion Towing. The driver was professional, efficient, polite and helpful. He arrived sooner than expected, got us on the road with efficiency, and was a pleasant driver for the two hours we were together. I could not have received better service!
I needed a car towed today & my roadside assistance company contracted with Scorpion. They kept me informed throughout the process and were able to come earlier than expected. Dante was awesome & was very careful in loading the car onto the flatbed. He also texted me when he dropped the car off at the mechanic. Would definitely recommend & use again!
Had a recovery off of I-70. They were called to pick up my car from AAA. They didn’t bring it to the location that I wanted it to be taken to. They also let it sit in their lot and put my tow at the bottom of their queue so that I would rack up a bunch of storage fees. Pretty shady for a family owned company.
Left me stranded for HOURS!
Scorpion towing accepted the job through my insurance tow me home after braking down in the middle of nowhere. I called a few times, no answer, voicemail full. After waiting HOURS for them, they never showed up, never answered for the insurance company. Left me stranded for HOURS unnecessarily.
Why accept the jobs? You’re putting lives in danger!
We are SO grateful of scorpion towing!! On the first night of our honeymoon we received a rental in Denver, drove 2 hours to breckenridge and literally our rental car broke down at midnight in the middle of a town on the moutain. It was so cold we tried walking to the city but we're literally dying with the wind and freezing temperatures. We called the rental company and they said we would have to drive all the way back there with a towing company to get another vehicle which would be +5 hrs in the middle of the night. We were starving and ready to check in. Plus we had skiing in the morning, needlessly to say we were feeling stressed,
cold, and hungry! The rental company connected us with Scorpion and we spoke with a gentleman named Eric. We told him about the unique situation and he got a new rental car to us quickly and then said go enjoy your honeymoon we got the rest. I couldn't believe it! He got an extra teammember to come and get the broken down rental and another to bring us a new car. He was able to get the rental back to the airport (which got towed so they had to deal with that), we received no additional charges, and we were able to move forward and enjoy our honeymoon... I know they didn't have to do that and I can't say enough great things about this company and Eric! You assume the worst in these type of situations and Eric's actions say a lot about the type of person and company they are. Thanks for everything we are forever grateful for helping to make our honeymoon so special.
I got a flat tire today. After I filled it, Several passerby's assuredly told me it was low just bc it’s been so cold and we had a big snow/bad roads. I wasn’t going to risk it, so I called roadside and Scorpion Towing. Eric communicated the timeline throughout the wait and let me know when he was on his way. I really appreciated the communication, especially on days when tows are in high demand.
When he arrived, Eric went aboveh and beyond to help me get my tire issue solved, including offering some very helpful advice regarding services the repair shop might up-sell to me as necessities. It was advice that I actually used a few hours later.
He was courteous, knowledgeable, and he saved me $$$ on unnecessary services that the tire company said I “needed.”
A tow company that communicates frequently, knows about cars and how to maintain them, AND shows up on time??? Yeah, I’ll be using them if I (hopefully don’t) ever need another tow!
After getting stuck at the top of Berthoud pass without brakes, the insurance company scoured their resources to find a tow. Many other companies refused to come up the pass even in sunny/dry road conditions. One company said 5-6hrs. Scorpion was ultimately called and I had my truck off the mountain in 90 minutes. The driver was professional and efficient. Couldn't be more thankful.
Eric Brunner from Scorpion Towing & Recovery LLC did such an awesome job when he showed up to tow my car. I had two other towing companies refused to tow my car when they showed up and left me hanging. Eric showed up and did everything possible to get my Mercedes on to his truck. He was professional, friendly and very respectful through out the entire process. I will recommend Scorpion Towing and Recovery LLC to all my friends and family. Great job Eric.
I called to arrange a towing at 8 AM. I was told in 75 minutes my car would be picked up. After sitting and waiting I called at 12:30 to ask when my car would be picked up and I was told someone was on their way right then. Fast forward 4 hours and I get a call from my dealership asking where my car is. I call the company and the same guy answers. after I told him which car was mine that I’ve been waiting on he put me on mute and kept me on mute. I called back about 4 times with no luck, an immediate voicemail. I called my warranty company to see if there was a miscommunication but they told me my car should’ve been there by 10 AM. The warranty company wasn’t able to get in contact with the man who kept answering the phone but after I told him at 4 that I was still waiting on my car he has been radio silent ever since. How childish, unprofessional and outright embarrassing. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone in this lifetime
Our car broke down a little before dark on i70 and USAA called for us. We were told that the truck would arrive in an hour and 15 minutes. Not only did the tow truck not arrive after 3 hours, but they were impossible to reach when we tried to call. The sky was dark at this point and we could have frozen to death. We ended up canceling after waiting 3 hours and after reading more negative reviews that I could stomach. I have never written a bad review in my life because it's not my nature but I'd get 0 stars if I could. We called a second towing company that picked up our car in 30 minutes
Very impressed with Tim at Scorpion towing! If there is such a thing as an “excellent towing experience” this was it. Tim was friendly, helpful, and very thorough in getting my car out of a busy parking garage, working quickly and making easy conversation while he got my car ready to go. He also went the extra mile to call me after he’d dropped my car off at the dealership letting me know it had arrived safely. Thanks Tim!
Drivers will try to scam you for extra money.... Don't trust Drivers call the office if they ask you for money.
I have good and bad about this company. Bad- the driver of the tow truck tried to scam us for 60 dollars right after my first accident ever. I had to call the company and get the receipt. Then they tried to charge me again that 60 dollars. Had to get them to fix it and show the correct numbers.
The good thing was the owner and the office staff that helped me get this fixed. Yet, they employee shady shady people.
Had a SCHEDULED pickup for my vehicle from another tow yard.Not only did they show up 45 minutes early, they also did NOT call me when they arrived. I called the office an hour and a half prior to pick up to specifically call me when they are on the way, which was promised, and which I never received. I only received a call to say they waited and already left. Since I was taking time away from work to have this done, this was extremely frustrating and had to wait another 3 hours for a separate tow company. Not to mention there was no apology for the miscommunication, nor any BASIC customer service skills. Communication within this company is non existent apparently, and I will not be using this company ever again.
Do not use this company.
Our car broke down and we contacted emergency roadside assistance via our insurance company - they made arrangements with Scorpion Towing to get us towed.
An hour and a half after Scorpion's ETA, they still hadn't arrived. When we called their number to check, they hung up on us. And when I called our insurance company back to let them know what was going on, even they could not get a hold of anyone at Scorpion for an update or to cancel service.
