Avoid this place if you can!!! Awful customer service! Clunker junker used them to come pick up a vehicle I was getting rid of and it was an absolute headache. I scheduled pickup during a time frame of 8-12. Noon rolls around and I’ve heard nothing. I call copart and they proceed to tell me that they don’t schedule pickups. Huh? She tells me that it should be getting picked up today, if not today then tomorrow. Um no that’s not how it works. I told her that I’m not available tomorrow and it should have been picked up during the scheduled time. She then tells me to just leave the title in glove box. is this place crazy?!?! It’s suppose to be an exchange of car with title for a check.
I called clunker junker to help me out and I believe they contact this company. I get a call a few minutes later that the tow is on the way.
The one star I’m giving goes to tow guy because he was very nice and knew what he was doing.
And yes I NEEDED to be present at the exchange because of the check exchange and they require signatures.
Do NOT use this place!!! The customer service is AWFUL, these people are miserable.Dec 10, 2025 -
DO NOT BUY FROM COPART. THEY ARE SCAMMERS. I purchased a car for my son that said it "ran and drove". There was even a link to hear the motor. However, it was delivered and the motor is blown.

Forklift drivers drive like it’s a racetrack with people’s cars on them. Our car we purchased today FELL OFF the forklift and the car was damaged. We watched it all happen and the manager Steve denied it all and basically told us we were lying.

Super shady business practices.They acted as a third party towing company to facilitate the sale of our vehicle. The tow driver was supposed to give us a call an hour in advance then meet us at the dealership where we would pay off the service and sign over the title upon electronic transfer. The four-hour window came and went without a call from the driver. Suspicious, I called the dealership to make sure they knew no one had permission to take our car, but lo and behold a driver had already taken our car.
The driver who supposedly was not allowed to pay any shop fees came armed with a check to pay our particular fees and took off with the vehicle without us receiving the electronic transfer of payment. He was somehow also not the least bit confused that the owners of the vehicle were not there with the signed title to the vehicle. Once confronted, the Copart dispatcher claimed all of their drivers carry checks around just in case. You know, because business owners love paying $300 fees for other people, and they especially love sending their employees around with unnecessary checks.Jul 03, 2025 -
The forklift driver drove recklessly, causing conservatively $1000+ in damage. The vehicle bounced multiple times and almost rolled over when it fell off the forklift. The yard manager, STEVE, treated me like trash, called me a liar, and refused to make it right. I attached the photo he told me was fake, showing the car without damage. He also told us that the damage was “not $500 worth of damage”. I would love for a body shop to call BS on this one. Clueless, worthless, inconsiderate, employees. If I didn’t have to do business here I would never return.

The insurance had my pick up truck towed here. I wasn’t able to get to my truck for literally weeks because I’m busy working all the time. By the time I got there, I’d seen that all my possessions were pulled out of the inside and thrown into the bed of the truck. Seeing this sent me into a rage. I started flipping out and cussing the Copart staff. They were very scared and intimidated by me. When they started hooking me up with vouchers for free towing, that is when I started to calm down. What I learned is that Copart is a push over. The next time these people do anything that upsets you? Just get in their face and bully them until they hook you up with free stuff. They’re easily intimidated!

Employees stole items out of my car and my license plates. There are other reviews saying this, the management does not care. They should lock the cars and leave the keys behind the counter instead of just in the car. My car was sent here by geico, it wasn't even my choice. The manager said they would “open an investigation” I never heard from them again.

Very Disappointed with Our First Experience
Our first experience with Copart Denver has been extremely disappointing. We expected a baseline level of professionalism and customer service—especially when dealing with a serious issue involving a non-functional vehicle purchased through their auction.
Instead, we were met with disrespectful and dismissive behavior from one of their representatives, and to make matters worse, the General Manager chose to communicate through this employee rather than addressing the matter directly. For a company that relies on the business of its customers, this kind of unprofessionalism and lack of accountability is unacceptable.
We understand that not every situation has an immediate solution, but what is expected is respect, consideration, and proper leadership—none of which were present in our interaction. Based on this experience, we will think twice before doing business with this location again.May 08, 2025 -
Not as bad as the California DMV, but one step above. Insanely bad service - did not get past the front desk - a joke and waste of time. I feel sorry for businesses who rely upon Copart for their business. Canceled membership.

Went in to make a payment, and the girl up front named Sarai was very helpful and kind. She made the process really easy for us since it was our first time there.

This is how the vehicle was posted very minor damage the loader damaged it as you can see in the pictures rear right door have huge dent needs to be replaced front bumper damaged right headlight damaged both fenders damaged.

Got into a accident (I was rear ended by another car, my truck was totaled by this car, police determined fault was driver that rear ended me) and the insurance company sent truck to this company for the inspection. Went to gather leftover items from truck today which included a fairly expensive dashcam, multitool set, and expensive sunglasses. The mutitool and sunglasses along with $10 dollars in change were missing from truck upon my inspection. The company also cut the cord of the dashcam (for what reason, who now’s) so that is now inoperable. Spoke to manger about this, they said there was “nothing they could do without photographic proof”. $300 plus worth of items stolen after a traumatic car accident that was not my fault. Lesson learned, if using this company, get all your nice items out immediately so they don’t steal them! Or think to take a picture of them after a traumatic accident.

Took friend here to collect items from totaled vehicle. The inside office area was clean and the lady was pleasant and helpful. They brought the car out front on a forklift right away and we were able to get everything out of the car.
We came prepared with identification, VIN #, and proof of ownership which made everything much easier for us and them.
They are very busy dealing with a lot of people and issues. Go in prepared and pleasant and you'll have a good experienceOct 25, 2024 -

This Copart location is the best one because of one of their wonderful employees. Ethan was very helpful and is the best Copart worker I have ever interacted with and also the forklift people are really nice.

This place has the worst customer service. Nobody wants to assist when an issue comes up. Everyone is so stressed out there and its hard to have a normal conversation with the reps. All they want to do is just transfer you to member services which they clearly know is unable to solve lot related issues. Jason, the GM doesnt even bother returning emails and hides from customers when multiple reps reached out to him about my problem. No call back no email, nothing for over 30 hours. Copart in general is a mess. Their policies dont make sense, the procedures for certain things like relists are unnecessarily difficult, and there are always huge obstacles to resolve simple issues. This company is too big and inefficient. Auction fees are ridiculous and vehicles are almost always in much worst condition than described. Missing parts or catalytics are very common. Not going to deal with this nonsense anymore and taking my business elsewhere. I luckily have other places to get my junks at so cancelled my membership and have no plans to renew.

My first time getting anything from here and honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had. The first time coming out here was to look at the boat I just purchased through my credit union. The guy at the front counter was so disrespectful talking to my mother and I making us go to the Walmart down the street to get pants down to our ankles and closed toe shoes (I completely understand if it was policy) meanwhile people in shorts and flip flops were going out into the yard in what they were wearing. We went back today to get the boat and everything was going okay and the lady at the desk told up it would be about a 10 minute wait which is okay but we waited 45 minutes. Then the guy escorts us to get our boat since they can’t bring it to us after they said they could and everything is going okay until we see him drop the trailer and run the landing gear into the ground causing damage to the landing hitch, his bosses eventually come and look and then proceed to tell us that it could be because their lot floods of even tho we saw it literally a couple days ago and it was perfectly fine. Then proceeds to tell us they can’t do anything about it and that it’s not their fault during loading even though we watched their worker do it. I don’t think I’ll ever come back to this atrocious place. Also we watched the employees go out to the vehicles and take things out of peoples cars so if you come to get your personal belongings and things are missing there’s your reason.

Used to be a great place, recently 3 of the last 5 motorcycles I've bought had lots of expensive parts ripped off them (speedometer, ECU, power commanders) new damage after the pics were taken. The wait times have become far greater and anymore 90% OF EVERYTHING SOLD GOES OUT OF COUNTRY, all shipped out of country with outrageous bids????

One of the best Copart facilities I’ve been to. The staff was friendly and helpful, there were plenty of loaders, and I was loaded and gone within 30 minutes of my arrival. Very good service compared to other lots.

Worst Location ever! Alex the manager is incompetent, lack of work ethic , no customer service, forklift employees are Rude and aggressive . Save your Time and stay away from this location, they always have problems with titles and documentation and really long time to process.

In general, I’ll tell you about the situation at this copart, the girls sitting in the hall are pleasant and friendly, there are no questions to them, they work great But the work of the forklift drivers is very interesting, I arrived, checked in and went to load, there were 5 car transporters in the queue, While we were waiting, towing trucks arrived and they were loaded without a queue, and the toving drivers handed the forklift drivers money for it, and the guys who stood on the car transporters waited for several hours. Management should pay attention to this Terrible loading experience at this auction, you stand and breathe dust for several hours waiting while others who arrived much later after you are loaded for bribes

Copart is a scam. You buy a car. They give you 3 business days to get your vehicle picked up but they only take appointments. But only have a limited number of slots available for pickup. So I end up getting storage fees because they can't have more slots available for pickup. Just buy from iaai. Way better service and don't have to deal with this garbage.

This place is the worst ran auction I’ve ever purchased from. If you’re like me and enjoy buying from auctions do yourself a favor and turn around to search elsewhere. Apparently having a title,bill of sale, drivers licenses, and a purchase agreement isn’t enough to show who you are or that you own something. Can’t tell you how many time I was told “sir it’s almost 3 I’m unable to help you we close at 5” waste of my day off work, 4hr drive and a trailer rental. But don’t worry the on site customer service informed me my scheduled apt time and all my documents were good to go. What a joke

My insurance company set up a tow for my vehicle for an estimate..... and cancelled it less than 5 minutes later because I planned to take it for an estimate myself. These people will not stop calling despite being told multiple times that don't need it towed. Daily calls. Multiple times a day. Don't they have actual work do to? This has moved beyond annoying to outright harassment.

By far the worst auto auction I have ever been to. No appointments available. Wouldn't release vehicle to transporter. Charged storage even though its their fault vehicle wasn't picked up in the first 3 days. Vehicle had damage from forklift at the pickup time. Customer service was absolutely terrible. Will NEVER buy from here again. Hope this branch goes out of business. Wish I could give them -10 stars.

Would give ZERO STARS! Worst place ever! We’ve had to get 3 cars before from other Copart lots but NEVER had to make an appointment and especially when they are 5 days out. So now they can then charge for storage because you can’t make an appointment anyways. To even make an appointment you have to do by downloading an app. The app is stupid.. trying to set up and appointment but my options are only as a transporter when I first enter information nowhere can I select owner.. all around awful.

Had to use them a few years back. I live 1000 miles away so I’m not here often. Hated it the first time. Waited hours till they got to me. The second time was worse. I came here recently to pick up a truck. ZERO customer service and respect to their customers. If I could give no stars I would. Would not recommend, go get a better deal elsewhere you are gonna save time, money and your sanity. They don’t care that you are running a schedule and are 24+ hours from your home. This place is horrendous.
