Had a bad experience, parts not usable. But to be fair Several years earlier I was satisfied with and engin purchased by Ace Master Transmission for me from LKQ.
I have ordered multiple parts from LKQ, it’s a great source! My wife got rear ended and was able to get parts from different yards (matching color)and there is no shipping cost to bring them in to Sacramento.
Yes it’s not perfect but if you go to any other yard there are worse problems, overall considering what line of work LKQ is in I think it’s a excellent source for parts
I needed a rear differential for my Mini Countryman. LKQ had what I needed and was able to ship it to my nearest LKQ branch without an additional cost. When I picked up the parts, Mike was very helpful and personable. He is a credit to the organization.
I strongly advise caution when considering doing business with LKQ. My experience has been extremely disappointing. Although they advertise parts as being under warranty and in good condition, my attempts to resolve issues have been met with poor customer service and a lack of accountability.
After receiving an incorrect part, I’ve spent over two weeks attempting to initiate a return, only to encounter repeated delays, unhelpful responses, and unprofessional behavior. Their policy appears to shift responsibility to the customer once the part is installed as there’s no way to verify its functionality without installation.
This experience has been frustrating and time-consuming. In contrast, I recommend considering alternative suppliers such as Jasper Engines & Transmissions, who have demonstrated far better customer support and reliability.
very bad experience with this company: first - I arrived at the address, spent a lot of time and heard that I had to order on the website and then arrive, second - I called the number listed on the website for three days - no answer.
Reps are ok but the people delivering have no respect for the reps and their notes . Delivery drive for merced barely has any drop off items and comes and 8am and leave at 8:30 and goes back to base . 3 deliveries already had to wait three extra days each and they still wont come when we open . We been here for 5 years now and i tell you we have never seen such a bad delivery person . They can do what ever they want when ever they want and no one can tell the driver a single thing ! Maybe the driver owns LkQ i dont know what is going on but the guy does not want to work nor likes his job
LKQ sent us a junk engine and refused to take it back or issue a refund. $3000 out the window. 2013 2.4 Hyundai engine with metal chucks/shaving after first oil change.
I ordered a part and came to here to pick it up NO ONE in front desk and I asked two people for help they said someone will show up I waited 30 minutes and no one show up . Very unprofessional service
I want to share my impressions of this company. I bought spare parts here for the first time and thought that if the prices are higher than in others, the service will be better, but what was my surprise when I bought parts from them and I needed to return them, they not only refused to do this, but also started arguing with me. The worst company I have ever worked with, never buy spare parts there
I bought a spare part and it didn't fit my car and I wanted to exchange or return the spare part but they told me it wasn't possible. They also started arguing with me that I was wrong. I don't recommend anyone to buy spare parts there!
I will never buy anything from LKQ in my whole lifetime because they are ripping you off. I bought transmission from LKQ with 6 months warranty and they send me a defective transmission and now they don't want to replace it or refund it.

If you trying to get some used parts specially engines or transmission AVOID this Company! They will sell you a lemon and they warranty will do everything just do not cover the bad part ! Go shop with onest company!

ordered a third raw seats for 2014 Kia Sorento. first they deliver a different color, then after a week they send the right seats but come to find out they took the seat Buckles out of them where they are attached and part of the SET to begin with. I called them asking why the buckles are not attached to the Set, and their answer... its sold separately and they are charging extra (the price of the Buckle is as much as the price of seat). So they want to double up the price without letting you know. Not only you get the SET without the Buckles, then you have to buy the Buckles separately. all dismantles sells them in a SET, meaning the Buckles come with the seats already in which i have asked 3 dismantles already and they will not sell me the Buckles. why lie to the customer from the beginning and deceive them. LKQ has become worse by the years and untrustworthy.
Came to pickup small engine and worker there decided it is ‘unsafe’ to place in the back of my hatchback prius. Refused to be helpful. Had to cancel order wasted a trip there.
Poor customer service and waste of time. I drove over 50 miles to pickup a fender and they tried selling me the wrong one and telling me otherwise. Will not be coming back here.

Great parts and have had no problems with them until I encounterd a Sales representative from West Sacramento name Iris who is rude and very unprofessional.
Waste of time all they want is your money and sell you bad parts. Dont recommend they played out so much money including a warranty and they did absolutely nothing to help.
