Waste Management skips pickups, charges me for recycling contaminants like beer case wrapping, plastic items other than soft drink and water bottles, wood, and cardboard with printing on one side.
WM is being servicing my shop for over 6 years now. We have a great relationship and never had any issues with them. Their drivers are well behaved personal and do their job very professionally and clean which it’s one of the most important things in this business. Only good things to say. And I’m sure by now that if there is ever any issue they will take care of right away.
Poor customer service! Many hidden fees! Too expensive. Not willing to work with you. Does not solve issues or billing questions. Try using private container company first. Dont recommend using WM. Only thing that was good was drop off and pick up.
WM made it very simple for me to order an extra pickup. I needed three heavy items removed including a refrigerator. I booked online with no hassle and was required to have the items on my curb at a pre-determined date. The pick up was completed in a timely manner. Your operators are always very polite and friendly.
This is a very reliable company. They keep you updated on changes in scheduling and they deliver prompt service. They have never left a spill or mess of any kind. I highly recommend their service.
Terrible customer service, website is broken and can’t get a straight answer. All I want is to transfer one service from an old location to a new one. Not only will they not cancel my old service, I have gone 3 weeks with no trash cans and no one can give me an answer or any remedy. If there were literally any other options for waste services I would have chosen them.
Service is always on the right day and on time, trucks are well maintained and clean, and drivers are friendly and professional. The added services especially large item pick ups are useful. Keep up the good work!
So tired of our rude driver scheduled to pick up trash container. He likes to start driving away while can is still on the truck. It ends up half way up street. He never fully empties it and sometimes it’s not upright. Slight inconveniences but now we’re stuck with trash another week. Do better.
I hope one day all cities within LA County would make their Recycling Bin Colors consistent and the same as almost all other states/provinces which is BLUE and not Black! This would avoid a lot of confusion and mistakes in placing the Recycles vs Trash in the correct bin. Thank you.
WM is ruining the area around Simi Valley Madera exits off the 118 with all of the dump trucks dropping off all the waste. I have had my car get damaged and no way to address it since the dump truck don't stop. The roads around are filled with debris and City and WM are not cleaning up. Just reflects a big business doing what it wants to do to make its numbers. I am not a NIMBI. I am fine with using the dump to hold the waste and fire debris, but they need to recognizing when there is step change in their volume they need to manage its bad impact to the community they live within.
Amazing service! It's a relief to know the people coming to pick up your trash aren't rude or petty. They won't skip you if your lid is barely open because its so full. And they will even come back around to check if anyone put their bins out late. Definitely the best experience I have had with a trash truck business.
Absolutely HORRIBLE company! NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT. Trash guy drives up to trash cans, empties one and leaves every fricken week and then all the company can say is oh, well get it next week. And then it happens again the week. and it takes 30 minutes to get through their automated system to find a live person to talk to.
We found ourselves needing to do massive amounts of yard work and needed a bin. We found the right size at Waste Management! It was ordered & delivered easily and as planned. One thing that I didn't know was that there may be a refund of some of the cost if the bin is under 3 tons (we got the LARGE bin). I love refunds! WM is always my first call.
Not happy with the fact that the trash cans always end up blocking my driveway after being handled by WM trucks. Often find trash on the ground that doesn't get dumped into the trucks properly.
Waste Management has been servicing our area for quite some time now. They are really good at what they do and are very safe when handling the neighborhood trash containers. Good job!
We've been living in our current location for over 20 years, and during this entire period we have been served by Waste Management (or GI Rubbish). Through the years we have found their service to be reliable, courteous, and affordable. They don't miss pick ups, and usually clean any trash that falls out of the bins and on the street.Old bins are easily replaced with new ones at a modest additional cost.Their billing is clear.Their website is easy to use, and we can set our bill payments to automatic and still receive a mailed bill that explains the charges. It is good company.
I am very satisfied with the garbage collection service. They are always punctual, and if there’s ever a situation where they can’t pick up the trash due to an obstruction or my fault, they always return to collect it. They stick to their schedule, and the staff handling the trucks are extremely friendly.
WM weekly residential pick is always on time and the drivers are friendly. Their communication about changes in the schedule are consistent. When i’ve called in, their customer service has always been friendly and helpful. Their landfill is state of the art and is pretty incredible to see.

I've heard horror stories from friends in other cities about their waste management services but I really have nothing to gain by saying WM has been nothing less than excellent.

Waste Management using city policy under organic container, wants make extra money from only our warehouse. I checked more than 200 warehouse in Canoga park non has organic container. We reported to city and channale 4 news.
