Through AAA these hard-working heroes were super fast and efficient! From the time I contacted AAA they had communicated with me and fixed my problem within 15 minutes and I was back on the road! Keep up the great work especially Dylan!🙌

Maybe just an unlucky day but around 1pm I requested service for assistance replacing a flat with my spare tire, was given a 45-minute eta, after 45 minutes was told another hour… I finally canceled and slowly made my way to the nearest tire shop. I was told approximately 2+hrs is the normal wait these days… I’ll be learning how to change my own tire.

Great service and for a great price! I called Swinks initially because they were the closest towing company near where my car broke down. I was a little hesitant because of the bad reviews but I decided to call them anyways and I’m glad I did. They answered within seconds, arrived in 10 minutes and dropped the car off at the mechanics in 5 minutes. The tow driver was polite and friendly, he showed up with a smile and answered every question I had. Overall I am glad that I chose Swinks and based on this experience I would recommend them to anyone needing a tow in Simi Valley.

The receptionist is very unaware of the law. I had a vehicle abandoned ON my actual driveway and I called to have it removed and she told me it’s considered grand theft auto. If that were the case than that means anyone can park anywhere without a tow. This is private property. I called another well reviewed tow company, they called the police for me, got a pink slip and they took the car off MY property. If you can by pass the reception, do it, otherwise just avoid this company.

Worst Towing Company Ever!!! Do not trust them with your car because it will come back damaged and they write on your car w paint and does not come off easy. Rude customer service.

This establishment is hard to find, has inconvenient rules about when you can get your car, and is inconvenient to get into. The employees were rude and even threatened me when I asked why they weren't open. It seemed he was trying to seem "tough". He wasn't, and I definitely would rather use Roy's Towing service in Thousand Oaks. Overall, horrible experience. Employees need to go to a Personality Workshop, and learn how to deal with the Public better. Ugh! Smh.

They lost my truck by dropping it off at the wrong shop. The person I spoke with was angry and said well if one more day of rental car is gonna kill you then send me the invoice. I will request a different company from AAA in the future.

Bad service and rude staff, don’t recommend this towing company. They picked up and sold my vehicle to a junkyard with no paperwork or dmv release of liability after I pay them tow and storage fees and know I have bunch of tickets and back fees at DMV. All they said is my problem, to contact the dmv directly. All I needed from them is a latter with date the car was picked up by them and send to the junkyard. That will release my responsibility of the vehicle.

Called AAA. D'Angelo came quick like 10 min and jumpstarted and cleaned off corrosion and was very knowledgeable in all accounts . Thank you for such a loyal and friendly worker.!

I can’t thank my Swinks’ technician enough for coming to my aid today. He arrived and pulled my stuck car out of traffic in less than 5 minutes from when I requested help. I was so impressed with his commitment to helping us quickly and safely.

Brandy was extremely pleasant and helpful, we do not have AAA and they squeezed us in and Dan was also very pleasant and helpful when arriving to pick up the car. Would recommend Swinks to anyone.

The drivers of swings towing are a bunch of complete jackwagons. Rude abrasive and just downright unhelpful. And why do they have to park their trucks in the middle of the street in front of the tow yard and then jump out with their hazards on like they're doing a tow job. You're not and it's illegal parking you bunch of (@#$_&)

Called AAA and they sent this company. Guy sent said he couldn’t tow my truck, said I needed a semi tow truck. My truck is a basic 1997 ford f-250 with 1 1/2 cabin. Have always been towed by aaa when needed. Either this guy didn’t want to work or something changed within the company because I never had this problem before. Do not recommend

Beware!!! Very bad experience, my friend warned me about this place. They do engage in some unbelievable unethical practices. Friendly advice: Never have them tow your car to their location. Have them bring it to your driveway immediately. If you're unlucky you'll have to deal with both Simi PD, pay them so they can give you your vehicle release form, then also pay Swinks their rediculous storage fees. My friend told me they were originally on Madera, they moved to this new location and reset their reviews... They used to be an average of 1 star rating for these "crooks." If you vehicle is leaking, just to put a bucket underneath it, they will charge you $40-50 per bucket... For a 5 minute tow they charge 200 and upwards. If you don't have Triple A, then my friend... You're getting royally... in the rear end!

Johnny was great. Getting my car dropped right where it needed to go on my steep driveway between a boat and another parking space was no easy task. He made sure no damage came to my vehicle or the concrete driveway.

Swinks is Under New Ownership.You do not get the quality serviceThat the family provided in The past. I ran out of gas And called Swinks Direct, Let them know I was a danger,They told me to call AAA, swinks refuse to do a DMC. Calling AAA,And going through the channels took 40 minutes I was almost hit several times with cars hitting the brakes hard!,All could have been prevented if Swinks would have sent a trucks immediately.I stress to Swinks our lives were in danger and they did not seem to care And just told me to call AAA again. When I called corporate the next day to complain ,AAA told me they should have sent a truck and done a DMC like i asked ,, So I went ahead and filed a formal complaint against Swinks with AAA.It is very apparent people do not come first with this new owner,And I speak from years of experience Of being friends of the Swink's family and work for Bill and Colleen,I know the way things should have been handled,So be very wary relying on the new owner of swink's to help you in a Emergencies

I tried to message through the website but there was no send button. I have never used Swink's but one of the drivers was just tailgating me so badly on Alamo St that all I could see was bright light through the rear of my car. No one was to my right, so he could have passed me. I was traveling 45 mph with two small children and a service dog. I needed to make an immediate left, so I stayed in the left. Seriously, please drive courteously! You are not emergency responders. You do not need to be speeding.

Swinks in Simi Valley, rescuing me from car emergencies for 25 years! So glad AAA sends Swinks. This time, the driver arrived & got my keys out of my locked car in under 20 minutes. Sorry, I forgot to ask your name, Mr. Friendly and Efficient...it was the Honda in front of the Aldi.😄 🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅

I've had a lot of cars & trucks impounded here within the past year, and obviously those experiences are not very pleasant and extremely frustrating at times. I wanted to thank the staff here at Swinks Towing for being so patient, kind, understanding, and willing to go out of their way to help me when they had no obligation to. I don't understand why other people in these reviews expect sympathy from tow companies that do business like this when they are just doing their job and following policies and procedures. I've showed up to pick up a car here plenty of times and occasionally in a bad mood, but I still understand that this is business and they owe me no sympathy or validation for my choices & consequences. Customer service is always top priority for me both as an employee at my job, and a customer myself. Keep it up guys, you are very appreciated!

I was driving an unfamiliar car, missed my guess about how far I had left before running out of gas, and got stuck. AAA sent Dean from Swinks Towing in Simi. The Swinks office was very helpful and kind on the phone when I spoke to them. Dean was knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. He put in enough gas to get me to the nearest station and advice on the best way to get there. And then when I was filling the tank I looked up and he was going by in his tow truck, looking over to make sure I got there. Couldn't ask for better service.

Customer Service was outstanding. After being helped by battery service man, we tried to drive car and it broke down at a stop light and another AAA driver pulled over to help us. Everyone was so helpful and kind.

Yesterday, in the heat of the day, my alternator went out. AAA sent out Swinks driver, Billy. He was a true professional. Really great young man and very knowledgeable. Thank you for making my sad moment manageable.

First off, I want to start out by saying that my wife experienced a very pleasant interaction with the driver, including politeness, A smooth drive, and charging the exact amount that I was quoted on the phone. I called and asked for a quote and then they politely and quickly asked from where to where. They were the only company to answer the phone on the first call and provide a reasonable price. From Fillmore to Simi Valley, $185 flat. Now I want to address the negative reviews that all seem to be flawed and for the most part irrelevant. The conspiracy theory, or in other words, professional partnership of a police department and a tow truck company is standard practice. If you feel things are being done shady, simply tell your friends. Should not be giving a one star review if you've never actually used the company. For someone trying to contact a tow truck company through a website, I want to point out that another standard practice of establishing a towing appointment is to have a phone conversation between the tow truck company and the owner of the vehicle. Also, it is rare that a car can be towed at the behest of a citizen without being present for your vehicle. Contacting through a website is generally an email, which in a professional environment is considered secondary communication. Professional reviews should never include all capitals for anything other than acronyms. It makes most other professionals consider your review very childlike, and will probably not take your comments to heart. And finally, if you're going to preface your review about how your family has bad luck with getting in accidents, but then finish it off by stating that super car owners should not use the service, you can pretty much assume that your bad luck can be tied to your bad driving of your super car. I would drive fast as well, but do not blame the police department or the tow truck company that they called for your accident. It was likely that your car was damaged in the accident. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Kia no longer running. Had to tow it home from the dealer. Erick was great!!!! Really super nice and professional. Picked up at dealer and dropped our car off at home quickly so it didn’t impact my day at all. Fast and efficient! Wish I could give him 10 stars!

Just had the best experience with a driver by the name of Erik. Erik's service was nothing less than very kind and absolutely professional. Erik even took the time to check under the hood to see if the problem could be identified before the long tow from Simi Valley to Sylmar. If I ever need a tow again, I hope I get Erik!
