Pay attention y'all SA recycling misclassifies metals. I brought in number one aluminum and they only gave me the price for aluminum clips which is about 50% less. Be aware, I even tried to State my case and they refused to honor my number one aluminum nor offered to return my aluminum
The female staff were extremely rude and made me wait an extra hour for another employee to assist me. In the end, the original person I spoke with ended up helping me anyway, which didn’t make any sense—especially after being told to wait for someone else. When the other employee finally arrived at the window, she served the person behind me in line, and both workers laughed about it. At first, I thought I might be overreacting, but after reading other reviews, it’s clear this type of behavior is common, as many people have had similar experiences with rude and disrespectful staff.
They didn't even weigh my plastics. They eyeballed my glass and gave the incorrect number. They know their barrels are improperly weighed. They don't even know how t tare the bins before putting your aluminum/plastics inside (which you should do). A number written on the side of a barrel does not weigh that weight. I dare you to take a scale with you next time you go. Have a nice day.
Google said they closed at 12 pm on saturdays. I arrived at 11:40 am and there was a worker at the door saying they weren't accepting any more customers and this isn't the first time this has happened there. I would not refer anyone to them, they are rude and inconsiderate

Do not go here. They will manipulate the tare so that they don't have to pay you as much. Their big blue bins weigh about 18m per bin, I brought a tiny half size trash can that somehow weighed in at 151m. My bin was extremely smaller than their blue bins and they weighed mine to about 8 times as much as theirs It was an obvious rip off. I mentioned this to the paypit lerson that the tare was incorrect and she denied it. Will never go back and I'm going to report this.
Went in with the expectation that the "weigh master" didn't know what he was doing,(Alberto Mendez in this case). He didn't sign the receipt, got the type off metal wrong which gave me less money for his idiocy. I go to this location because it's close by but won't return if he's working.
There is no customer service, female employees are very rude and act above us, the lady near the scale, is rude, and was yelling at myself and one of her co-workers, as she sits in air-conditioned place. How can anyone be so obnoxious, she is the reason why Oxnard has a bad rap. Learn customer service skills!!!!
Had an old sailboat mast I didnt need so called here...Mrs hernandez was very helpful over the phone and had me send pictures so she could get idea of what I had...every time i called about something each person was nice and helpful and a few hours later a guy called me back to let me know average price they pay per pound...everything went well with drop off and everythings seems well run and went smooth...all the emplouees I came in contact with were nice...I wasnt so worried about max value so I cant speak about recycle return rates but instead of paying for disposal I at least got a few dollars feom the aluminum...they were going to work with me to bring in full mast but I decided to cut it into 7ft segments and it made everything much easier..
Poor customer service. We have a bin at our facility to throw scrap in as it is generated. which I got a call today stating that the bin needs to be picked up. apparently there is a 2 week maximum that you are allowed. This was never disclosed upon bin delivery. My last company used to use SA Recycling and we always had a bin on location weather it be for a day or months. I will seek out a company that does not have a time limit on the bin and happy to have the business.
Don’t understand why people are upset or getting upset… the people who work here are nice and welcoming even though they work fast paced they never seem rude; they are just doing their job… all they ask from you is your name and what car you drive because they wanna make sure that your car is yours and not stolen, also the cashier ladies are super nice and friendly, they dont have to talk to you all they have to do is tell you were to sign on the paper the drivers gave you and give you what your owed and thats it… to me this place is great i just come and go collect my money and leave… ive never had a bad experience always good
Okay first of all, the place overall was okay and the workers were nice, me and my daughter earned $99.32 worth of recycle we had, worst experience btw, and everything was going great until I met the counter lady with fake eyelashes and nails the person below me from a month ago was right they don’t even talk to you they just look at you like there’s something wrong with you. worst experience ever x2 , no wonder people don’t recycle anymore HELPME
I’ve been coming here with my family for a long time and the only complaint and biggest one I’ve had is the window females. They’re always very rude and today I had my money thrown on the counter. All they do is talk and talk with themselves and they can’t even manage to say a word to the customers. If you hate your dam job so much why don’t you look for another one? You guys seem miserable anyway.
I did The CAP PROGRAM Retire my car everyone there was so helpful they said it would take 45 mins i was done with in 25 mins!!Plus i got my check RIGHT THERE!!Thank you SA RECYCLING!
Bad costumer service! No reason to start yelling at people and not pay an individual the money… when trying to fix the situation I have never been treated like so and have been coming here for over 18 years, my dad for over 30 years and I don’t recommend coming here
Bad experience!!! Went there to drop of material for my company 15 mins before 4pm. Only for them to waive me off saying we have to still clean... Really? then change your time to 345 not 4pm... waist of time thanks very little
The gentleman who work here, are awesome . They watch over their customers, when other customers are rude. Treat people good, n get good back.

I took my car to this location for retiring it , the workers are lazy and careless for customers' time , it took about 80 minutes , I retired a car at Tujunga location on 2013 and it took less than 8 minutes
Everything was good except for the lady at the scale because she saw me doing something by the rear license plate- she assumed (wrongly) I was trying to take the rear license plate off which apparently is not allowed- and then instead of JUST asking me what i was doing she told me to go stand over there and "open my book" where I had put my personalized license plate FRAME (which i had forgotten to take off- & had to break off at the last moment b/c nobody would kindly allow me to borrow a screwdriver for 30 seconds) . she talked to me like I was some kind of criminal or something . all you need to do is ask lady- or look at the vehicle itself - the plate was still there. show some respect. NOT ALL of us are criminals just because we're recycling our vehicle via Bureau of Automotive Repair program. Being poor is NOT a crime- & recycling a vehicle does NOT mean you are poor & dishonest- it might mean you're smart. I just bought a new car & this one was having engine problems & i couldn't fix it or resell it - that's what this program is good for. Also they need to put up a number for the gate next to the scale. I know it's a wrecking yard but you don't have to live in it like you're a hobo. You can make it look decent.

Treat the staff well and in return they are courteous and treat everyone with respect. #3. For a Recycling waste management place they are extremely clean. #4. THEY PAY EXTREMELY FAIR MARKET PRICES AND TAKE A WIDE VARIETY OF RECYCLING PRODUCTS. I would highly recommend this place to those who are recyclers with class.
I've been here several times. Staff is always polite, efficient and friendly. I live one mile from another recycling plant but I choose to drive to this one. The yard always looks clean and we'll organized.

I hauled @$$ to get there by 5, someone pulled in right in front of me, but they only tell ME that they're not doing any more recycling. Thanks guys! Won't be going there again. Obviously they don't know how to help a customer out. If they were done, the gate should have been closed.
