Dishonest practices. I went in to turn in a bunch of copper and ended up with quite a bit less pay than expected. But have benefit of doubt. Then I went back a month later with copper that I carefully weighted and accurately graded. The guy had me put it on the scale and the scale read quite a bit less than at home. He tried to input that weight but I interrupted him by saying straight out that it was wrong, I removed the copper from the scale and sure enough the scale now read negative 4 pounds. I pointed that out and one of the guys tried to downplay it like an honest mistake and then went to tare it out again but had empty buckets on top of it when he did, then removed the buckets when he tried to reweigh. Again it was light so I put the buckets back on the scale and we went with that weight, though it was still a bit lighter than st home and was graded as lower quality than It should have been. Once is an accident, twice is incompetent, three times failing to give an accurate weight is crooked. I'm sorry to say, and don't do so without certainty, but it seems that these guys are stealing money right out of their client's hands. There aren't many alternatives, but that doesn't give free license for thievery. Wish I didn't have to talk bad about anyone, but this is exactly what happened.

Great facility and friendly staff. I have been doing business at this scrap yard for over 30 years and they never let me down. Joel is always fast at getting your weighed. The staff will take the time to inform you of what you have or what you can do to make the next visit more profitable. This is a fantastic way to make side money on your and others trash.

Great Facility! I’ve been coming here for the past year, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. I constantly throw away scrap metal weekly, and they always have new recommendations on how I can make some more cash with aluminum and copper.

Call and ask prices before wasting your time. I checked the wire prices online. I had #1 insulated copper wire. Which should have been $2.40 a lb. I gave them my wire to weigh and then thought maybe I should ask just to make sure. The guy said $1.40 an LB. I showed him their website which said $2.40 and he brought me to a manager. The manager called the owner and they said the most they could pay was $2 a LB. Still .40 cents less than the website. They claimed the cost of metal was down. I had no choice but to accept it. Afterwards I called a place in fresno and they said $3 a LB. I emailed the owners of this place and never received a response. I will never go back to them.

Been coming here for years, even before it was 84. For a hole in the ground facility, they know their stuff, and don't play around. There aren't many scrapping facilities left, which is what makes 84 a hot commodity!

Had never taken scrap metal in for recycling I had a truck load of all kinds of stuff that wasn't separated. I started to unload and a man came and help unload as well as separate what was left. Everybody there is very helpful and put up with me for another 3 more loads. You guys and girls are the greatest.
