If I could give this store -100 stars I would. I have been here at the tire center for going on 2 hours. It takes 4 employees to help one person. The employees are beyond rude. If I thought my car would have made it to another shop I wouldn't have ever came here. Now theor computers just crashed. Ahhhhhh I just want to pay for my tires and get out of this hell hole.
Extremely unprofessional! And discriminatory!!I went and got a money order from Walmart today and ended up needing to cash it same day so I went to the location near me around 6pm… they refused to cash it for me because of how I looked ( I’m a black female in my late twenties!) I look regular but they said it looked bad for them to cash a order same day from a different location and it looked like I was doing something wrong with the money because I got the money order the same day . This was a horrible experience and it didn’t make any sense! Such a inconvenience for me being that I couldn’t make it to my bank in time this day which is why I went to Walmart anyway but I won’t anymore and I advise anyone else that looks like me to except to be profiled and deal with a unwelcoming hard time when doing things that involve money service !!!
It can be really frustrating that so many items are locked up, and sometimes I’ve had to wait around 8 minutes without any help.
I understand why things are locked, but if that’s the case, there should be better systems in place so customers aren’t stuck waiting. You can tell the store is often understaffed, which isn’t the workers’ fault—they were kind and helpful when I did get assistance.
Management just really needs to improve on how this issue is handled.
Absolutely dislike requiring to hunt down a employee to unlock glass doors when im just trying to shop !! This particular store is always gross , dirty , understaffed , and im always worried if my windows will be broke when I get out ...
I bought a 10 pack of LED, fluorescent style tubes that cost $52. Upon opening the box, I found one bulb broken. It was after customer service hours had closed, so I used the nine good bulbs, and brought the broken one with the box and receipt back to the store today for an adjustment. They refused, said I could do a return if I uninstalled the other nine bulbs and put them back in the box and brought them all in. That is ridiculous.
Thank you to the employees at the self checkout! My 2 year old was given a sucker by an employee and got so sad when he dropped it. They went out of their way to replace it. It meant so much to me!!
Be very cautious when using Walmart’s automotive department for services such as oil changes, tire replacements, or any work underneath your car. On multiple occasions, I’ve noticed that after service, important clips on my splash shields or other plastic components underneath the car were not reinstalled properly—or were missing altogether.
I’ve also experienced them swapping out my aftermarket tire valve caps for standard ones, which is frustrating. This has happened on three of my vehicles, and after talking with a few friends, I learned they’ve experienced similar issues as well.
Because of these issues, I’ve had to spend close to $1,000 in total to replace splash shield covers, clips, and aftermarket tire pressure caps across my three vehicles.
Walmart really needs to start reviewing their security cameras and holding their staff accountable to prevent this kind of careless or intentional damage. It’s disappointing, but it seems there are workers in that department who don’t take pride in their work or care about customers’ property. Double‑check your car after any service here. I really thought about picking up a lawsuit. All my last vehicle I purchased my vehicle off the dealership my vehicle was perfectly fine. And I got full pictures of my vehicle when I bought it from every angle.
Walmart in Yuba City is amazing, Manager Jenn and her management crew really know how to help out customers. Very clean and organized store, tons of items for all your needs. Huge parking lot. Great prices, lines move fast, actually really, no lines, great displays.
I'm editing my 2 star review to increase it to 3 stars. As of late this particular Walmart has seemed more cleaned up/less clutter then in the past, which makes shopping here a nicer experience. But BE AWARE, and the reason I'm deducting stars, the try-on
/Fitting rooms close at 8:00 p.m. which is utterly ridiculous when considering some of us work and cannot get there before 8:00 p.m.!! I had a whole basket full of clothes that
1. Took easily 40 minutes to pick out
2. I needed to try on prior to purchasing as I will NOT buy clothing I can't try on first
3. I was forced to ditch all the clothing items because I wasn't allowed to which equals more unnecessary work for the employees putting everything back and
4. Means more than an hour in Walmart was a complete waste of my time!
But hey, at least they had the ingredients so I can make this gorgeous strawberry cheesecake!
The shoppers in here are ridiculous and you are just rushed and pushed. They have people asking for money in front of the doors and the parking lot is a pain. I don't recommend shopping here if you want to keep your sanity.
I don't recommend shopping at this center. A garden hose burst that was purchased less than 30 days of usage and Renee (front end team lead) would not allow me to return it because " it wasn't sold broken??" And apparently she was the highest manager at the time (thursday 8:00 pm) so i got nobody else to complaint to. I have never had such issue with walmart before. What an unpleasant lady! Too bad she reprent this walmart. Dealing with Renee spiked my blood sugar and my blood pressure. Thanks a lot Renee of Yuba city!
Very busy today as we went early afternoon. Hardest part about shopping there is getting around the shopping carts that they use to pull online pickup orders. They take over and don't bother to wait for regular consumers to pick their groceries. The way they handle what they pull shows little to no respect for the products and no packing skills. That's why we go in from time to time
Like most Walmart, they almost got it all. From groceries, clothes, electronics, you name it. Prices are decent but, creeping up. The place is usually pretty clean and the employees are chill and helpful. It's a solid spot for one stop shopping.
Cheap goods, nice customer service, clean store. Much better than the one over in marysville. They need to make the aisles a little bigger though. They are too narrow, causing traffic jams and tight squeezes with other customers. Also causing customers to accidentally hit items on shelfs and knocking them off, causing them to break.
This is a review for this Walmarts 4th of July decor! I was so pleased to see such a large variety of everything. I had to add on to my previous review just to do it. They have so many different sizes of American flags. The have super cute Cowboy style hats. Lots of different little necklaces and bracelets. Including glosticks that are red white and blue. They have all the party or picnuc plates, napkins, utensils,,cups ice chests and striped towels. They also have the different packs of sparklers and the small fireworks like that. There are yard games and hanging indoor or outdoor decor. Theres also a good size section for decorative things and gifts for the Graduate in your life. So for the 4th of July and Graduate sections I give Walmart of Yuba City 5 out of 5 stars.
I was very pleased when I saw this Walmart. There are so many handicapped parking spaces available. And thinking it was going to be crowed because of how packed the parking lot was really surprised me. The store is so wide open , the aisles weren't jammed and from beginning to end I had a great experience. When entering the store my friend asked the greeter ( Craig) for a sit down shopping cart. He got on his radio and then went and retrieved one for us. He was so friendly. The selection of meats at this Walmart is top notch . We bought 3 thick Ribeyes for $42. We found everything we were looking for and when it was time to check out, Kelvin in self check was super helpful and friendly. For these reasons, I give Walmart of Yuba City 5 out of 5 stars.

I went there to get the oil changed in my pickup truck. A nice lady came out and got my info as soon as I pulled up to their garage area. She had me leave my keys, and I went in to check out their huge store... very nice. I found a sewer hose set-up for my little trailer at a good price, I might add. It was no time at all when I got a text. My truck was ready for me. The price for the oil change was also very good low... and they gave you a printed out report of exactly what they found and what they did as well as a few remarks !! Excellent. Thank you Walmart
Flat refused to price match WalMart.com for an item on the shelf that was $31 cheaper online and available at the same store for same day pickup (4 hours later). Spoke to a manager and she refused to do it. Ridiculous.
There's a wide variety of stuff in this store; which can be useful. The problem is that everything is starting to go behind locked glass doors. That's ok; I understand why that's happening. However; it becomes a problem when there's nobody to open them for you. I wanted to get an item and pushed the red button on the glass door for assistance; after about 5 minutes of waiting with no result I saw an employee close by and went to ask for help. She told me to go and press the red button and someone would come help me open the glass doors. I told her I had already done that but she couldn't offer any more help other than say to press the red button again. So I went back and pushed the red button again. Eventually another employee walked by and I asked her for help. She told me she didn't have any keys and told me to push the red button. I'm a patient guy but after pushing the button about 10 times and half an hour of waiting I decided it might be best to order my items on amazon.
I recently visited Walmart to return an item, but unfortunately had a negative experience. The associate at the customer service desk, a woman of Indian descent, refused to process my return because I did not have the receipt. While I understand store policy may require a receipt, I felt the situation was handled in a dismissive and unhelpful manner.
I expected better customer service, including clearer communication and a willingness to assist in finding a solution. I left the store feeling disappointed and frustrated.
I hope Walmart can look into this matter and ensure better customer service moving forward.
Update 3/24/25 - curbside pickup at this location is horrible. You will see cars arrive after you get their orders and leave. You wait over 30 mins and never get your items. You try to cancel the order but the app says you can't. Don't bother doing curbside pick up here.

Update 6/30/2022: The place seems to be getting rundown. Items are broken and not repaired. AC seemed to be off with triple digit heat, employees and customers were sweating. Stocking occurs during the day making it difficult to navigate the aisles or find what you need. Grocery side is a joke due to being out of stock on many items.
Update 10/12/19 - good luck finding the items you want at this Walmart. Uploaded pics of shelving out of stock for pain relief medicine.
Past post - Store is out of stock a lot. Checkout times are long. Worse than the typical Walmart. The store is most likely out of stock of the item you want. The Linda Walmart does not have the out of stock issue line this one does.
Pharmacy is excellent. Some customer service representatives are amazing. Floor assistance needs improvement No sense of urgency. Yuba City store does not compare to Linda store as far as floor standards, in stock items and cleanliness.
(3/2/2025 ~6:30pm)- A WASTE OF MY TIME AND ENERGY. Never again will I shop here after being straight up lied to and/or dismissed by multiple check out employees and customer service when trying to purchase sweatsuits for my nieces. They were apparently unable to grant me the clearance prices that they advertised (even after I showed them a picture of the advertisement from their store) and they themselves went to check and see it. The item is showing up on clearance online and also on the sign I photographed in the store but somehow they refused to honor those prices and tried to charge me full price ($19.98) for both items despite store price match policy (see photos below for evidence). ANY other retail store with decent customer service and adequately trained employees would have fixed this without without issue.
This is a super big walmart and I really like it. You can find everything there! I used to live in another city where the local Walmart was so small and you couldn't find fresh fruits and vegetables, food, etc.
I have A Great time here!. Lots of good deals, affordably priced and easy access lanes. Staff is helpful and courteous. Remains a stable Family type place to shop and save money that competitorssuckup!

The store is large enough to carry a variety of things. It was very clean and everybody was practicing social distancing while I was there. The bakery section was stuffed with freshly baked goodies. And the produce section was being restocked with new fruits and vegetables. The deli offers freshly prepared items made everyday. They have FACE MASKS on sale.
