I’m a homeowner, and Heritage Salvage was recommended to me by my designer who has worked with them often.
I purchased a slab of Parota wood from Heritage and ordered five separate pieces to be built, including a live edge desk, fireplace mantle, and various floating shelves. I worked with Cup at Heritage who prepared sketches based on my ever-changing requirements and started building once I signed off. Cup was great to work with - professional, responsive, and with a problem-solving approach for challenging installs. Heritage delivered all the items on schedule, if not earlier. The quality of their work was excellent, and the items look fabulous in my home.
Heritage Salvage owner Bug has a great selection of slabs and salvaged wood items and employs experienced artisans/craftsmen. The team is great at communication. They were a pleasure to work with and with a client service orientation that I valued as a homeowner. I would recommend them highly for custom woodwork projects.
My experience every step of the way a mis-step.
After coming on site to pick out wood, design and finish. Caup & Christian lost my information and asked me to come out again.I was told 6- 8 which turned into 12 weeks
only to have a photo sent of a brown high gloss finished mantle when I asked for grey rough finished mantle.
Cup & Christian even admitted they made a mantle not to agreed upon simple finish. when I asked if they could fix it it was just a simple NO.
After 12 weeks , 50 % down I have nothing.
I dont think these know what they are doing.
Absolutely the best place to buy slabs/ reclaimed wood. All the staff make you feel at home. Great selection of wood other than the normal redwood and walnut slabs you would normally find. Definitely worth a visit. Very fair pricing as well.
Found beautiful redwood 2X8's. Everyone was super nice and helpful. I'm not very experienced with woodworking and they were amazing and gave me some advice with the wood that I picked out. My L shaped desk turned out amazing!!! Thank you so much for the help and beautiful wood.
When you show up to a lumber yard driving a Prius with a 4 year old along, you're never quite sure what reception you'll get. But these are just the nicest people and were happy to let us explore their lot even though we obviously weren't buying any beams today. Super neat place if you like recycled timbers and slab cut wood. Will be back!
Heritage salvage is an amazing place, with wonderful people who make amazing things. I was able to get a small slab of Parota from costa rica and make my Greek mother a small table on top of an old Singer base for Christmas. She about cried over it and said it was one of the best presents she has ever received...All thanks to Heritage Salvage for making available such a vast collection of beautiful reclaimed woods.
Great salvage yard. I found a great antique screen door there.
Purchased Spring 2016. Finally installed July 2018! I’m quite pleased with the result, and can heartily recommend anyone interested in vintage items and building materials visit and see what gorgeous finds they can acquire.
It took a lot of hard work but I feel it was worth it.

Heritage came through! Chris Cupp at Heritage Salvage donated a piece of lumber to a group of Sinaloa Middle School students, making a totem pole. The beautiful piece of Doug Fir will be carved into a totem pole telling the story of plastic pollution in the oceans. Thank you Heritage Salvage Lumber for supporting our students.
This is amazing, quite literally right up my alley since it's right down the street from AMF bowling. Driving up to their facility you can see that they have some amazing finds for the person that's trying to put that Perfect Touch on their project. Slabs of wood rustic everything Galore. This place is definitely worth the stop, even if you just want to stop in and see what they have to offer.
