This is my son's favorite holiday event he has severe autism and he cant believe around a lot of people so this is just perfect. Slightly bummed that the person behind me had the headlights on but adjusted my mirrors and problem solved. Thanks to everyone out in the rain we totally appreciated u.
As always, coming to Alliance Redwoods is a blessing. Beautiful facility in the redwoods. The staff is always warm and welcoming. The teaching is solid and the accommodations in the cabins is very comfortable.
My dad came here for a church retreat and he said it was beauuutiful, he really enjoyed his time and the whole scenery as well as fellowshipping with some
fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, i hope to come see it someday !
It’s peaceful, quiet and mesmerizing . Lots of activities to do . You’re in the beautiful redwoods. They have tree. Houses, zip lines and never run out of things to do.
Absolutely incredible place. The facilities were top notch and the hospitality was second to none. We were so blessed to have a little taste of heaven here.
A very serene, quiet place to be able to connect with nature. Our stay was restful and amazing! Staff Alexis was extremely helpful and patient, answered all our questions, and was able to book a second room at the last minute.
I had a wonderful time of fellowship, fun and food. Really enjoyed the speaker Matthew Sleeth. Greatly appreciated the Saturday night under the stars too !! Can’t wait to see you all next time !! Now get some Rest ? God Bless
Treetops Zip-line was fabulous! Tallest, longest, and fastest in CA. Best view of the Redwoods is from the top. Staff was great, food was good, conference speaker was captivating. ??
Such a great experience as a guest. As camps go, it’s nice, with plenty of swag to grab, and a good hang out spot near the office and snack area. Dining room food was really yummy. Beware of gaps in pathways though, in places it’s a little uneven.
? ???Super fun and great people working there! It is very high off the ground so be prepared for that. Also seems to be run by a Christian no profit if that matters at all to you. ???
This is a student science camp. The location and facilities are gorgeous. The food is institutional. Decline since covid.
Counselors don't sing camp song or make connections with the students.
Words to describe this place: Beautiful, fun, exciting, informative, restful and all around awesome. I got to zipline for the first time and join the banana slug club. The staff were wonderful and so helpful.
Great experience. Staff was there every step of the way for any who weren't sure. And if you get a chance try the longer higher line will be worth every penny.
It is absolutely beautiful with quaint little cabins are peaceful secure environment They have a lot of activities like archery basketball horseshoes swimming with theater rooms pool room and more It's not the Hilton, it's a campground Some cabins have bathrooms and showers other areas have public ones They have a mess hall for meals which minimizes the wild animals vandalizing cabins for food I haven't seen any areas for tents or RVs But the cabins have heaters and electricity It's well lit up at night and there are many hiking trails
Attended their Homeschool Camp with my family and I can't say enough good things about this place. The naturalists were amazing, friendly and wonderful with the kids; the grounds and cabins were clean and beautiful; the program and activities were first class. We would definitely go again!
So glad I came with my son as a Chaperone for his 5th Grade Science Camp. Wouldn't trade the moments we had for anything. Camp ground was Epic. Huge basketball court, nice gift shop, cabin were decent and there was lots to do and see. The kids are going to remember this place for the rest of their lives. Hats off to the Naturalists that made this place fun for everyone.
This is a great camping place. The staff were friendly, food was great, cabins were like hotel rooms with shower, toilet, beds, etc.
We spent 3 days and 2 nights here for a 6th grade camping trip and the experience was great. The staffs Jackal, Rocky, Feather, and many others were very friendly with the kids and definitely love what they do. Much time was spent on educating campers for an in-depth camping experience.
Food was always served on-time. WiFi is available if you decide to connect back to work. Playground and rec room is available as well.
Rooms could be a bit more nice. Not having beddings made my luggage super heavy! Rain got in to one of the yurts, but the staff provided towels to block water in timely manner. Basketball court was nice.
This place is an absolute nightmare?! Bed bugs in our cabin. When asked to moved to another cabin, staff refused to accommodate. After seeing the hives and bumps all over the kids bodies, they reluctantly agreed to move us into another cabin in the middle of the night at 11 pm.
As a parent leading a group of school kids, it was absolutely horrifying to see these kids suffered from bed bugs scratching all through the night and develop hives all over their bodies.
The counselor was treating these kids like booth camp. It was raining like cats and dogs during our stays and the counselor refused to let the kids to back to the cabin. Many kids in my group got sick afterward. Definitely will not allowed my kid to go this camp grounds again.
Amazing experience! My Dad, cousin and I had an adventure flying through the redwoods here. We felt safe with our guides. Zipped along on 7 lines. Weather was ideal. Group was great. The view on the "long line" was my favorite. Felt like Tarazan at times. Loved the wind blowing through my hair on the faster lines. Very fun and memorable!
I would expect better food and free fresh coffee for chaperones and volunteers, and also more activities.for the amount of money that is being paid for our children to go camping there.
I was fortunate to be one of the chaperones of my daughter's sixth grade science camp trip. The staff there was extremely friendly, helpful, and wonderful guides during the week long event. The sleeping locations were quite nice and the bathrooms where in good condition. The food was the only thing that was lacking. It was not bad it's just that I've had better mass produced camp food.
