When I dropped my 2003 Honda CRV off to check a couple of things, I had no idea that Josh would go through the entire car, checking for other issues. The repair estimate was far above what I was able to pay. I told him that I’d sell the car, and look for another one. When I picked up my car, Josh said he might have a possible car for me, from one of his customers. If so, that would save me a lot of time and trouble trying to find one that I could afford. We really appreciated how organized and professional, plus friendly, the staff were. From the start we were pleased with how they informed us of what they thought was going on with our vehicle, and how they followed our requests, and how well they diagnosed the problems with our vehicle. We had brought it elsewhere without the issue getting resolved. Now it runs like new, and it's a 2003 Suburu! Long ago we brought our cars to the original "Noel", and these folks keep the same high standards.

Chris and Josh run a tight ship in Monte Rio. Their mechanics are extremely skilled and most everyone there has excellent people skills. Chris made concessions wherever possible to my bill, which I appreciated. I recommend Noel's Automotive.

While getting my tires rotated at Costco, the tireshop called me to say one of my lugnuts had seized (apparently this is very common for Subarus) and they would have to cut off the wheel stud. They said any autoshop could repair it, and it would be around $300. Okay fine, do what needs to be done. I drive past Noel's every single day but somehow I forgot this place existed. I called them up and the woman on the phone was very friendly and helpful. She answered all my questions (I tend to have a lot of those) and scheduled a time for the repair. I came the night before and dropped off my car. They called around 11:15 to say my car was ready to go. Boyfriend picked it up for me while I was at work. Simple fix to an easy problem. My wheel has five studs and five lug nuts again. I would definitely go here again in the future if more extensive work needs to be done.

I stopped in a week prior to see if I could get a simple oil change on my car for the next week. I spoke with one of the owners (either Josh or Chris) and he said it could be done for the date and time I requested. He asked me to write my name and phone number down so if anything changed that they would call me. Fast forward to a week later. I called the day prior to my appointment time for the next day and was told they did not have me down. The employee over the phone told me the phone number that I left could not be read so that is why they did not reach out to me. I would have come in the next day for my appointment and really had a bad customer service experience. Not even an apology that they could not reach me or an apology for the mishap. I am a local, and wanted to support local, but this was just a bad customer experience before I even received actual service. They need to do better on the paperwork/admin side of the business to ensure they have everything correct in order to reach out to a potential customer.

Josh, Chris and the whole team are stellar. I am so grateful these guys are in the neighborhood! Respectful, honest, got integrity, and know how to get it done. Rachel rocks the front desk. Love Noel’s!

Always prompt, courteous service with expert mechanics. We recently moved to the area and our realtor recommended Noel's and only Noel's as the automotive mechanic in the area. So glad we listened to her advice!

Went in to have tires mounted and balanced. After inspection they showed me my control arm bushings on my BMW were worn out. . They were able to get the parts and complete the repair the next day. Price was much better than I expected. Not the first time I've gone there and definitely not the last. Fair,timely and honest.

Held onto my van for over a month, never touched it, and never called when they said they would. Told me van needed a new engine, but after it was towed from their shop it turned out it only needed an alternator. Absolutely bogus. Will never have my business.

The transmission on our Sienna gave out on us as we pulled into Doran Campground to start a weekend of camping. Josh and his crew were the only shop of the 7 I called in the area that were even willing to talk to me about the issue and taking a look at the van. We got it towed to the shop and they did a great job in getting us back up and running again with a new transmission. They were incredibly friendly and professional the entire process, and were very flexible in working with us to pick up the van when it was ready as we live over 3 hours away. I can't recommend the customer service or actual mechanical service enough. Thanks again.

I just moved to the area and needed new rear brakes (rotors and pads). Joel’s Automotive was recommended by a neighbor. I called Monday morning, Tuesday early afternoon everything was done. Josh’s quote for the worst-case was reasonable and they stayed way below it. They even managed to get the oil change and inspection done despite a full lot of other cars. Best experience I’ve had so far with an auto mechanic! My go to mechanics now.

Great service We have always received great service from everyone at Noel's Automotive. We just had our timing belt replaced (as is factory requested/required) and now I feel we are driving a new car. We take our car for all oil changes. If you get dash lights that light up, they have always figured out why they go on. It is a great feeling to know that Noel's will be right here for any and all our "fix-it" needs. I can always trust that my car will be in tip top condition. I highly recommend Noel's for all your repair needs. They are very knowledgeable, trustworthy, dependable, reliable and a HUGE asset for our Monte Rio community and Sonoma County! I am treated well. I trust Josh and Chris to be fair and honest, that the job will be done right, and that I am safe continuing on my way. I believe the pricing is spot on, though I have not been elsewhere in more than a decade... They sell tires now too!

When you live in a sparsely populated area, finding good services is often a challenge. After a less-than-stellar experience with a previous shop, I looked to Nextdoor to find out who my neighbors recommended. That's how I found Noel's. I had one 75K service done and one tire replacement/rotation. Not huge things, but I was impressed by their professionalism and efficiency. The first time, I didn't even see anyone. All transactions were done by phone. I dropped my car off before the start of the workday, leaving my key in a secure box. Then I picked it up again after close of business.

I can't say enough good things about these guys. I took both my 2002 Chevy Tahoe and 2005 Mini Cooper in for service, and they were knowledgeable and competent fixing each. Also i found them to be honest and fair ... worth a trip out of the way to take your car or truck here for major or minor service.

Let me start by saying I hardly ever write reviews.... I was in town to visit family and live about 4.5 hours away. I was 20 minute away from Monte Rio when my engine light began flashing and the engine started shaking. Needless to say, I was pretty annoyed. I dropped my car off at Noel's Automotive on a Thursday morning and spoke with Josh. I advised Josh that was visiting family and was from out of town. Josh was very helpful and professional. He had my vehicle fixed by 1 o'clock and for a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend Noel's Automotive and am so glad that I trusted them with my vehicle.

Chris and the guys are the best in the business! They help people out of all kinds of problems on a daily basis. They are extremely professional, extremely Fair priced, best mechanics I've met through my long lifetime. They go out of their way to accommodate and help people every single day. Chris is Extremely honest, I trust them more than any other mechanic shop. Chris should be the mayor of the town! They really help me out and I really really appreciate them very much! There isn't a better place to go with your vehicle...

When the transmission on my 2015 Honda Civic blew up and left me stranded, I dropped my car off at the shop. Not only did they get a brand new transmission in it very quickly, but they were able to do it for a very very fair price, and they do excellent work. I have since brought my civic back do you have them do other work and it has always been excellent work. I have a car there right now that they’re working on and another that’s going into the shop when that one is done. This is the best auto shop I have ever found.

Chris and Josh are doing an amazing job with this place. Needed a new radiator and they hooked it up for a very fair price. Even dropped me off at home! Can't say enough good things about my experience here. You won't be dissapointed.

These guys are great. Its so hard to find a good mechanic, that i drive from San Francisco just to have them work on my car. I have a 2018 Honda Accord and Chris told me of problems the dealer did not.

Noel's was Amazing, they took a look at my car and quickly realized that the problem was damage caused by the dealership. Chris documented everything in case the dealership gave me any trouble. They are quick, kind, and affordable! He made lifetime customers out of us!!!

I've had several of my vehicles repaired at Noel's over the years, and while they aren't cheap their rates are reasonable and what matters to me is, once I get my vehicle back it's fixed and stays that way. They seem to fix modern machinery (90s and newer) faster but are quite capable with the 70s vintage trucks I own. If you want it fixed take it to Noel's.
