Pay to park. Incredibly narrow and small parking stalls. Other than a couple picnic tables, there are no other amenities at this park, Just the river bank.

Cool spot. Wish it had more parking as it can get pretty busy and full rather quickly.

Lovely spot for a lazy day by the river. Parking is limited, so carpool if going with friends.

Beautiful public park. Remember to arrive early for good parking (pre-paid though). We liked how there were communal life jackets available down by the water, which was a surprise for sure and greatly appreciated. Would come back for sure.

Nice beach, nice river, too bad the toilet was over flowing. This was 3 weeks ago. Maybe clean now.

Parking is $7, portable toilet, small amount of parking, and closes at sunset (~5:10pm in Jan). Beach is full of a fun mix of river rocks. A few picnic tables up top in the shade.

Parking in Sonoma County Park Recreation areas are first come first serve. We arrived just after two other cars pulled into 2 of 3 vacant parking spaces and came to find these girls holding a parking space for their friends that were not there. We tried to find a place to park on the street, however it was too far to walk. About 15 minutes later we circled back and the girls were still standing in the parking space. This is when I took the photo. For those that don’t know, it’s a violation of Sonoma County Parks Rules to hold parking spaces. Please respect our parks and abide by the rules. This is so that we all can enjoy these wonderful public places.

Beautiful scenery, pristine river. Brought back so many childhood memories.

At first glance, I fell in love with this beautiful park. clear water, romantic atmosphere, plenty of places for total privacy, A great place for meditation and admiring the beauty of nature. Make sure you carry enough water to avoid dehydration. I personally suggest watermelon. finding parking lot might be a challenge. pay attention to the signs to avoid having your car towed. I didn't see any restrooms around me. do not forget suntan lotion. Arrive earlier to avoid parking distance. I recommend this place to all nature lovers. Go there!

Beautiful day to walk along the high water after the rains. Lots of places to plant your chair and enjoy the view.

Cool park to enjoy the river. Water flow was really high, may not be ideal for swimming. Paid parking $7 per day.

Very clean with lots of potable water. The porta potty was well maintained. The river is beautiful with a rainbow assortment of rocks for your kids to fill their pockets with and insist you bring home.

Beautiful little rocky beach, but exercise caution if you go there solo during the weekday: I encountered a man who wouldn't stop hitting on me, and once the family near me left, I was suddenly all alone on the beach with him. I did not feel safe! I was able to get the attention of another woman who was much further down the beach (alone too) and we left together. We need to all look out for each other. No one should feel unsafe at a public beach in the middle of the day. Just be aware of your surroundings and send someone your location...even stay close to the noisy families ?

Small parking lot that fills up by mid morning. Parking is $7, machine takes exact cash or card. A few steps down to the beach. Prob not good for a wheelchair but stroller could make it. Beach is rocky. Water is beautiful. Area is dog friendly, which is great.

Del Rio Woods is definitely one of the hidden gems of the regional parks system. Getting there is a bit difficult- the South Fitch Mountain Road route is a bit kinder than the North Fitch Mountain Road route. Keep your eyes out for lots of cool creatures, including tiny fish, cool birds, and butterflies

Free regional maintained park, hard to find and its the Russian river people, underwater is unpredictable , unseen underwater debris changes constantly so keep a close eye on kids even if they arent yours who knows you just might end up a hero one day ! I suggest floatations or lifejackets for all inexperienced river swimming , Be safe not sorry

A very quiet park with a lot of houses and residents nearby. Good for families with small children, very limited parking with towing on private property strictly enforced.

It's a very nice river to swim and just hangout. There a two porta potties and water to drink or fill your water bottle back up. There's a $7.00 fee but worth it. You can eat and drink your sodas , beer ect.... also there's some benchs to have a lunch or something if you would like. But check it out for yourself.

One of best places to have a fun family time, yet few things you need to know before going, the fee it's 7$ per car, there's just one porta potty and it's closes at 8pm.

That spot is awesome ? very little parking space. Be prepared to unload and park down the street and walk. Fast current but not too deep.

Nice place for your dogs to swim, while you skip rocks, spend some time with your woman.

Love this beach. Hard to find which results in less people using it. Great place for a peaceful river experience

I went here today December 14th, and first of all I was so bummed to realize I had to actually get out of my car to go down to the river. I mean COME on, why don't you have a road going down all the way to a parking lot at the beach so I can blast the heat and listen to Jimmy Buffet while I wax nostalgic about the days I could wipe my own butt. So after I walked down stairs to the bottom I have to walk over rocks! rocks! And they were not even colorful or shiny, just regular old gray rocks. I mean we could at least get a people mover in there so we can streamline this whole unpleasant experience. Finally after my arduous voyage through the mineral monotony I made it to the river. Nice and all, so I strip down and go for a dip... woah COLD. How do you expect people to swim I this thing? I mean let's get a diesel generator here, heat up this bad boy to 83 degrees and just pump the water up to the parking lot and save us all the misery of an honest and natural experience. I'm giving this place 5 stars for potential, but really folks let's get some modern development in here so we can destroy the inherent beauty of this place.
