Retro camping under gorgeous redwood trees right on the river. Convenient from 101 and nice grocery store to walk to.

We have been coming here for years and look forward to our stays every year. We try and come up every weekend during the summer and Laura and fam are so much fun. We don’t even consider staying somewhere else and won’t as long we Mirabel still stands.

Cool camp spot. Literally in the woods, lots of shade. Flushing toilets, showers, electric outlets, picnic bench and firepits at most every site. Close to water, small creek runs through on the group side, throughout half the campgrounds to the join the Russian River. Water is relatively calm. Fishable from the banks. Canoe rentals available next door, within 200 yards. Location is just off River Road, close to Forestville for local small town shopping. (Safeway in Guerneville, 10 minute drive) 30 minutes from the ocean. Staff are friendly, firm but fair. Attentive to the grounds, they make rounds.

Beautiful location right on the river, horrible staffing. There's a sense of professionalism and hospitality that misses the mark. It's a shame, we normally love coming up to Santa Rosa to visit family and camping in our camper. The front desk worker brushed us off in a hurry when we came in and said to go ahead and take any spot, so we did. When we went to pay she said there was a reservation on the spot we chose and we had to move. Not a great start but we stayed a couple of days and my partner left for work and flew back in late on the last day. The park is completely empty at this point. (and was never busy to begin with) We ask to extend one more day to which she responds that we have to move again. Im guessing maybe she's never set up camp in a Camper before and doesn't know it's inconvenient to constantly move, possibly just a miserable person.(think 'meet the parents' airport scene) It should have been easy to move the other reservation over one spot, there were many many available spots; it was almost completely empty in fact. Either way this place has potential, but front desk person sucks, be warned.

This could be a great campground given the beauty, however they allow music and there was a group of classless individuals who played music into the midnight hours and the park personnel did nothing to stop them therefore if your looking to listen to nature then this is not the place to visit but if you want to listen to your neighbors obnoxious loud music, then come here. Bottom line is this is the fault of the park and park host Because it could be prevented if they enforced their rules therefore we will never be staying at this what could be a wonderful place.

The owner was so polite …. It’s a family environment campground ,clean close to the river…(not that private if you wonder)

The host is really nice. And the campground was open, inviting and had water and electric. It was also affordable to stay. Would visit again. Downside was the showers and bathrooms could use a better scrub. Warm water and no tokens - so can’t really complain because they give free showers.

This Camp place was great. They have all the necessary things to Camp. Including electrical plugs, water, near bathrooms and showers. They also sale wood to do your own fire. They respond supper fast. They are lovely and friendly. Love the customer service. They are strict, regarding the rules but the rules benefit everyones safety... I will definitely Camp here again.

Overall, a great place for families with kids or laid back groups. All the amenities you’d want, granted they aren’t in the best shape. Realistically, on a summer weekend this is a hotbed of massive families that absorb several adjacent sites to create one large one. There is noise, a lot of noise. The main road is right there, cars coming and going all night, kids and families and get togethers until very late. In the morning, kids running around screaming and playing just as the sun comes up. Old trucks driving through the lot with vagrant looking men picking up beer bottles to recycle. In hindsight, we should have gone elsewhere. I’m confident families with kids will love this place, I saw so many kids running around making friends, but if you are looking for a respectful, quiet place, this isn’t it.

First part of this land is permeant residence (trail park) but the camping area is near by , each section is very spacious not crowded. Direct access to the Russian river , water is murky but after 10 min of floating the water current picks up & you end up at Steelhead Beach after 26 min of loafing. You can easily walk back to camp in 12 min. Staff was helpful and accommodating. Showers had good pressure and hot water, toilets were clean.

A wonderful surprise of a campground! This place is divided into two spaces. One is the upper level where RVs are parked in people live in them, there is a side section set up for camping and the spaces have numbers. The other place is down below and it's a grove of Redwood trees and it's just for tent camping or small trailers. (This place is called the club) The sites here are labeled with letters. We stayed in campsite S which was small but pleasantly perfect. Each campsite in the Grove has a fire pit a picnic table and seem to be close to a power outlet. There was also a water tap right at our site. The Grove is next to a little creek where they sometimes have canoes that you can rent from the site and canoe out to the river. The canoes were not up and running when we stayed. We drank our coffee in the sunshine by the creek and listened to all the birdsong. Overall, a lovely surprise to have a camping getaway on the Russian river without too much planning.

I am not a fan of car camping, yet I stayed here because of poor planning on my part. The 1st night there was a very loud group. At 3:30 in the morning they went around the campground trying to break into cars. When I complained to the management, I was expecting minimal support. Fortunately, they told me that they had my back, and evicted the problem campers. They demonstrated that safety for their patrons was a priority for everyone.

We were lucky to have found the Russian River Campground. What a blessing. The best team, clean showers, great trails, the space is nice. The location is near the shopping center in Windsor, champagne cellars, Armstrong Grove Redwood trees, and of course, the gorgeous Russian River. We are so thankful to have stayed there. The beach is thirty minutes away in Jenner, California.

Nice view of the river. Was loud when we were there, a lot of noise from the road as it's alongside the main thoroughfare and there were loud campers nightly. The kids 1st time camping and we kept it close to home for convenience. Each site had power & water which we didn't expect. Washrooms were basic but overall pretty clean.

4 stars on because the traffic on the road can get really loud! This is a nice campground with the amenities you need! It has a store $8 for a stack of firewood. $8 for a bag of ice. Good prices and next to the river. It was nice to spend the day in the water.

Best deal on the river!! Super friendly hosts! Large shaded campsites, plenty of accommodations, extremely family forward place! Kids will love it!! They even have kayak rentals..+ water and power hookups. 10/10 "Glamping" at its best!!

Love this place. I been to many places but when I came here, I have went no where else. My go to place for camping. The fishing isn't that good. But your on a river. Go up stream or down stream til you find a great spot.

These pictures were from the 4th of July. The staff is very sweet and friendly and the campsites in the club area are very nice. With the campsites up top you have a trail down to the river where you can swim and enjoy the water. When we went the water was low in parts so we were able to walk upstream and float on our tubes back to the camping area. Over all I recommend coming here if you are looking for a spot to camp!

Great front desk management. I came in as a single kayaker and was turned away from Burke's Canoes. After 43 years I was excluded for being a single women on open waters. I offered to go with another group and he stated we don't have anyone. I left and went next door where they took amazing care of me. Showed me a map, gave me very good instructions to stay safe, and gave me a ride down to the water. They exuded customer service! Will return here for all my families camping and canoeing needs. After 43 years of up the street I have a lifetime to support this business. The liven family that takes care of the place is just just so pleasant. Her boys were super helpful with the business and looked out for Momma Bear. Love happy accidents. Recommend this place to anyone coming to the russian river! And it was only 20$$$ for the day use!!

The worst experience I have ever had camping and hope that this reaches many considering Mirabelle RV park for a family fun, enjoyable trip. As a certified guest professional and a certified tourism Ambassador for Sonoma County I am by far a appalled at the management at the campground. I was treated very rudely and and discriminated against and ask to leave the campground when I wanted to stay another night. I was a quiet and pleasant camper paid on time and was very respectful to the property I couldn't understand what could be the reason for being treated in such harsh ways. I don't know how they are still in business and would like to know how many of you out there have experienced the same treatment at there's Campground

So cool here. River access and the people who run this spot are genuine. The woman that runs check in listened to my needs and met me where I was at. She renewed my faith in human kindness when my faith was tested. May I mention the prices are unbeatable! Totally adorable, the whole park is covered with redwood trees that provide shade and semi seclusion from River Road. Easy access, simple layout, affordable + good people=Good Times!!

UPDATE: so excited to update my review. The camp management really did what they said they would. We ended up having a wonderful experience, they were able to support by ensuring that other campers didn’t ruin it it for everyone else. What I can say is that this place is very maintained. Clean bathrooms, friendly and attentive staff. The weather was great, not too hot. What started off a bit rough, ended up being pretty cool. Really the issue would have been some of the other campers. But that was resolved by the management and we got to enjoy the get away...

Convenient and affordable place to set up a tent for a weekend of floating down the river. The park looks and feels better suited for RVs and trailers than tents though. Pros: river access, dog-friendly, attentive staff, free showers, electrical plugs at every site / Cons: small sites, no water drainage under water spigots in campsites, no privacy from neighbors, very dusty

Lora, the camp host was wonderful and extremely fair and helpful. You can tell she cares about Mirabel and wants it to be a place enjoyed by all and safe and welcoming for all. We (two adults and a child) and our small dog, camped, canoed and met some great people. We enjoyed our time there and look forward to stopping by again!

This campground as they call it is so dusty and just a lot of dirt. Campers are elbow to elbow close. We stayed a couple nights which were very noisy with music and loud people. We decided to stay a few more days hoping it would get better. The staff were very rude and asked why I wanted to extend our stay. Also she asked for proof from me to show I worked. Now I thought that was a bit much I have never been asked why I wanted to extend or for proof of my work. The next day she said my wife was bothering a neighbor camper two sites down and informed me that we were not welcome there and that we had to leave immediately. I asked for refund for the other two nights and she refused. Don't go there. Very rude people

We stopped the night to rest and swim in the morning before we leave , bad idea. Its summer so we knew that it was be full of kids , but their parents were drinking and not watching the kids, running and screaming in the others camping sites. Also so crowded of people parting all night up and since early in the morning that we leave 9 am so stressed . I only recomend if you wanna party if you want a quiet spot to rest don't go there.

I specifically asked for a quiet spot... and I was promised a "very secluded spot [...] No neighbors, no lights, no real noise." .... the lady might have forgotten that her campground and the spot in particular were right next to a heavily trafficked road. I would have given 2 or 3 stars but I'm not a fan of false promises.

I have stayed in many parks in tent and in an RV and I have done both at this Campground at Mirabel Park and I have always Loved this experience the best, and it has always gravitated me back to it. Not to mention the low price for nightly, weekly and for a 28 day stay. It is very beautiful with all the redwood trees and multiple ways to the river. Great for kids and adults. If there were ten stars I would rate them a perfect 10. The staff is very friendly and they even rent kayaks and canoes for a great price. They sell firewood and snacks as well. The pure beauty brings me back time after time.....not to mention the price. As camping prices sore all over the US, Mirabel has always kept there prices very very reasonable.....if not cheap. I hope to come back to this fabulous park once it opens back up. Eric
