I had to get my car towed and this buisness is the ones that towed it.
They took it to their yard and I called first thing in the morning when I could go get it and they said they didn’t have it. I called AGAIN because I know they towed my car. They didn’t even have it for 24 hours and they charged me almost $500 to get my car! And they towed it from a gas station where I had just put a half tank in it. When they brought me my car they said I’d need to get gas cause the fuel light was on. It was mentioned that they towed it from a gas station where I had just fueled it up. The guy shrugged his shoulders and repeated that I need gas. So on top of lying about having my car, charging me an absurd amount of money, they also stole the gas out of it.
Very friendly couple came to my place extremely fast and moved my 61 healy sportster with the greatest of ease and professionalism. Would easily recommend their service to anyone. They didn't even mind my crazy-ass dogs running around them. Lol
Gary did single-handedly what I thought might be impossible. Anyone can tow but these guys go above and beyond and their ability to recover is insane. Five stars for same day service even on a Saturday and got the job done cheaper than I'd have expected with the skill of a master
This business was an answer to prayer literally! E had moved onto our property (that was apocalyptic condition) 5 years ago and were basically stuck with 3 inoperable cars/truck without vin numbers. They came the next day and got one after the next until they were finally gone for FREE! Such a huge blessing!
This was some of the best service I've ever had. The front desk was great with scheduling and communicating, and the driver worked fast and efficiently. The company is marked with conscientiousness and excellence, plus they are very reasonably priced. I highly recommend Lake City Towing and Recovery for your towing needs!

My motorhome broke down in Yreka at the Walmart. I was waiting for parts to fix it when it was towed by Lake City Towing out of Redding, California. I'm from Grants Pass, Oregon.75 miles north of Yreka. They towed it 90 mi south of Yreka to Redding, making it impossible for me to pay the $4000 ÷ tow bill to get it back.It had everything in it. My birth certificates, clothes , fishing poles , golf clubs, wallet, safe with my jewelery in it. When I tried to call them they wouldn't answer the phone, or even call me back. There's nothing but Crooks. I tried to call at least 30 to 40 times ,nobody would ever call me back. They suck.
Needed a tow after a flat tire. The young man ( Bobby?) was prompt, professional and friendly. He was very patient and accommodating and the price was more than fair. I would absolutely recommend them.
Lake City Towing not only saved me immeasurable time, money, and hassle, they've managed to restored some faith in humanity. They went the extra mile for me and severely mitigated what could have turned into a crisis.
While driving home to Oregon right before New Years, my truck's transmission died on I-5. Most places were closed and I had very little time to secure a rental car. I was scrambling and frantic, but was lucky enough to get a hold of Lake City Towing. The tow truck was already dispatched elsewhere, so Gary and his fiancée Shannon personally came out to meet me and grab my truck's keys to ensure I could get into a cab ASAP and secure a rental car to continue my trip home. Without their proactivity and help, I would have been stuck for days instead of merely hours. I'm so grateful for all their help. The world needs more people like Gary and Shannon.
Excellent service! Truck broke down along I-5 and they showed up in less than 20 minutes. Gave me a tow to the local auto parts store, replaced my alternator, charged my battery, and I was on my way. All in less than 1.5 hours. I would highly recommend this company. Good hardworking people!

The owner Gary went above and beyond to get us and our motorhome safely off the highway. He and his mechanic came back the next day and put a serpentine belt on our motor and got us on our way to Oregon. Gary's the greatest. Thanks buddy.

Tow truck driver Mr. Smith went above and beyond to help us in our time of need. His cheerful demeanor and can-do attitude, even at midnight, was a great help and a relief to us after sitting on the side of the road for 5 hours (due to insurance company ineptitude)! His follow through and willingness to go the extra mile to drop out keys off at the tire location the next morning was much appreciated. Highly recommend !
I can never thank this family-owned business enough for coming to our rescue after a motorhome that my husband and I recently purchased became disabled along busy I-5 on a Friday night. Gary, Jose, and George went well above and beyond what they had to and our expectations to ensure that we would be able to arrive at our final destination. After being towed to a safe place, they worked with us over the weekend to find a temporary solution to our problem and get us back on the road to deal with it later. Gary went out of his way to do everything possible for us and truly cared that we would be safe the whole time. On top of that, beyond the towing, which was covered by our insurance, he charged us a very reasonable amount for their time, work, and effort and did not try to take advantage of us in our time of desperation and need.
I want to say thank you Gary and the team for helping our family get our rv to storage late in the night. Your staff was incredible and caring to make sure our rig was safely park.
They were at my location within mins after I called. Super easy to deal with and the tow operator knows his job well.

My car got stold not only did they charge me for the tow but for days of storage also. They rob u blind n have no sympathy for the working class that had their vehicle stold....

I went off-roading in my Rav4 where there was some snow and unmaintained areas. I had no trouble driving out in the snow and I have 4weel drive, but my tires do not the best traction for ice. Over the course of a few days the snow conditions changed and I had trouble getting back out to the main road. I got stuck in a snowbank. I was able to dig myself out the first time but I got stuck again and the rest of the road out was heavy with snow and icy. I called about half a dozen tow places and these guys were the only ones close to the area I was in (near Lassen Park) who do snow towing and for a reasonable price. When I called, Gary was responsive and compassionate to my situation and offered to come out immediately. I could tell he genuinely cares about helping people and is in it for that reason- not just for the money like some other places. He and his partner had to come out twice because I was so far off the road and the snow was so heavy that their truck had trouble at first. They came back a second time with a small snowcat and groomed the snow to where I was and then pulled me out with the snowcat. They even brought me gas, water and a banana because I was stranded in the woods!
These guys are truly lifesavers and I highly recommend their service.

The guy that came to change our flat was incredibly amazing, helpful and just a really nice man in general! I had some questions about the process and he answered every question I asked and was so thorough and seemed happy to do his job. He's the reason I'm rating with 5 stars!!!

My car was wrecked they towed it let me get my stuff no problem but they told me that we could maybe work out a trade .... Ha ha nope they just wanted my title my cars engine was in a 2008 pontiac grand prix with under 125,000 miles... So. I told the guy this and that he wont have a problem getting rid of it cuz its hard to find this car in a wrecking yard. He said well we will probly sell it for $600.00 to pick n pull .... Well that should cover my tow fee .. If i get billed for it im going to ream them a new one
Gary was amazing. He is truly a hero. He risked his own truck and time to go out of his way and save me. Gary also brought along a great attitude with tons of knowledge at HALF THE COST!

I was called to help a friend move out of Twin View Terrace Mobile Home Park and Lake Blvd. I had my trailer attached to my SUV parked in front of space unit #8 in the park to allow us to load the trailer with the remaining property of her grandmothers since her Death a few months back in February of 2021. Twin View Terrace Mobile Home Park Manager had filed for a Court Ordered Eviction for park space unit #8 for the reason the grandchild of the deceased grandmother was only 48 years of age and not 55 years of age or older to reside there according to Twin View Terrace Mobile Home Park regulations. The grandchild did not reside there in the Mobile Home Park as she lives in her own home 1 hour away in another County. Lake City Towing & Recovery was called 5 times by the Manager of Twin View Terrace Mobile Home Park to tow any vehicle that was associated with the help of moving the remaining belongings from that unit #8. The Managers reason for ordering the tow of any vehicle was we were in the "Fire Lane". We did not block any other residence driveways nor the way to pass. We moved two vehicles that were loading property in front of unit #8 to the visitors parking which was about 500 ft down and around the corner and I pulled my truck and trailer into the driveway of the Mobile Home space unit #8. Two larger Lake City Tow & Recovery trucks came and blocked my truck and trailer in the driveway preventing me a disabled US Marine Veteran from exiting the park property with their illegal use of both Tow Trucks to prevent me from leaving and for them to Tow my SUV and Trailer. We had to call Redding Police Department in order for them to move the Tow Trucks from blocking my SUV and Trailer in the driveway of unit #8. The two Lake City Tow and Recovery trucks were ordered to move by the City of Redding Police Department. I had also called 911 for Medical Help for the grandchild for Respiratory problems due to the Stress, Harassment and the fact she did just lose her grandmother a few months prior. Two hours I was held against my will in this Twin View Terrace Mobile Home Park by the Lake City Towing & Recovery. I would not live in or recommend to live in this Trailer Park or use the the Tow Services of Lake City Towing & Recovery. Semper-Fi
