I bought a used throttle body for my 04 Chevy Colorado and put it in because the old one failed. But the used one they gave me had problems too. I actually ended up breaking down on the side of the road and this nice gentleman had a code reader. The code read the same thing as before but clearly worse. The original one is $500 and the used is $95, we'll see if they give me my money back or replace it again. UPDATE: They did eventually replace the faulty part with one that worked.!

Dirty every. where worn out.heaps of garbage inside and outside.wasnt told anywhere that our room would Not be cleaned.shower didn’t drain.guy in the morning employee room yelled at us I’m eating when we asked where the restroom was as he was walking around in there.elevator at west side don’t use it it’s vintage and gross! done here!

Bought a transmission with one year warranty had it in less than a month. Call to get it replaced. Now they tell me I have to take it to a mechanic shop and have the mechanic tell lkq that's it's broken and then they will start the warranty process. I was never told this when I bought the transmission. I paid almost $900 for them to screw me over. They took $900 of my hard earned money and gave me a broken transmission. Now I have to pay way more money out of pocket that I don't have. If I would have known I had to take it to a mechanic shop to get my warranty I would have never went through lkq. And I will never again. Lost good customer and possibly more. When a customer buys a transmission under a Warranty maybe the customer should know about the warranty process and policies. Not rip a customer off and leave her stranded

Warning to Consumers: Defective Transmission & Fraudulent Practices by LKQ Corporation I am sharing my experience with LKQ Corporation after dealing with one of the worst customer service and fraud cases I’ve encountered. I purchased a transmission from LKQ with a six-month warranty for $1,639. After having it professionally installed, the transmission failed catastrophically on the highway, dropping my speed from 70 mph to 5 mph, putting my life and others’ safety at risk. The vehicle had to be towed, and I incurred extra costs for labor, fuel, and time. I immediately contacted LKQ to resolve this issue and was directed to Jax Pérez, an employee who ignored my calls for days. When I called from another number, he answered immediately, but instead of helping, he was aggressive, rude, and evasive. It was clear he was trying to avoid addressing my issue and wear me down into not returning the transmission. Finally, after much persistence, I was instructed by another representative to return the transmission to LKQ in Redding, California. I did so on February 24 and received a receipt with the promise that I would get my refund in three business days. However, after a week of waiting and no refund, I called for an update and was told my claim had been denied without any valid explanation. The final straw came when I spoke again to Jax Pérez. He was disrespectful and tried to manipulate the situation by saying, “It’s your word against mine,” dismissing my claim completely. This is fraud. I returned the transmission, paid for a warranty, and LKQ has refused to refund me. This is what I expect: An Immediate refund of $1,639 for a defective part that failed catastrophically. I have already filed a formal complaint with the FTC for fraud and BBB. Where this company has responded saying they will “not be assisting any further”. I will now report LKQ to the California Department of Consumer Affairs. And will seek legal action for warranty fraud and consumer rights violations. LKQ Corporation, your treatment of me and your refusal to uphold your own warranty is unacceptable and illegal. I demand a full refund. This matter will not go away until it is resolved, and I will not allow you to continue defrauding customers like this. Please share this post to spread the word. i called this place looking for a part for my car, a guy answered and already sounded irritated, i don’t understand how it works so i was asking him where it would be shipped to and how it works and mid sentence he hangs up on me. thankfully i called back and a nicer woman answered but that was crazy to me. whoever hung up on me shouldn’t be in charge of answering phones.

I bought a remanufactured transmission from them for my Ram Promaster. It failed immediately and now the replacement has also failed, so I'm waiting on a third one. Meanwhile I have been without use of my van for 2 months now. There warranty doesn't cover the full cost of doing the replacements, despite these things malfunctioning immediately - error codes coming up in a couple hundred miles both times. The dealership ate the extra costs the first time, but but this time I'll be on the hook for probably over an extra $1000+ dollars and am not even confident this one will work either. How many times are you going to keep sending malfunctioning products?

After working with LKQ for over 10 years , I just had the worst encounter with one of the worst service employees. I’m leaving this review from my dealership. We have ordered over a hundred thousand dollars of parts over the years, this will be the first review I’m leaving because of the worst employee I have dealt with, Christopher Wright ! Christopher hung up on my face twice because he “did not want to steal someone else’s order.” I even spoke with Carlos, the original guy that helped me with the order he had three callers ahead of me and said that if was fine for someone else to help; because I did not want to wait 20-30 minutes to be helped. I let Chris know that and explained hey I can’t be on hold for that long I have work to do. he said “I have a lot of work to do too” and hung up in my face. Christopher was free but it was obvious I was in bad luck to be connected with him. The customer should NOT be affected because of your commission !! FIGURE IT OUT.

Horrible customer service. I ordered parts from a specific vehical with 2600 miles. Instead they sent me parks with 100k. They didnt even ask if that was ok. They will refund the cost of the parts but not the $160 i paid for shipping.... if i wanted 100k parts i could have gotten them from yards where I live. I called 3 times got the run arpund by 2 operator's. Then the 3rd finally listen but still wouldnt do anything about it. I asked for a manger all she would do is tell them and they may decide to contact me back. This has been going on for weeks....

A good place to find what you need but if you are out of state and waiting on them to ship it you will be waiting. Make sure you have them ship it your way because they don’t pick the best trucking companies and you might be waiting for a while.

Delt with Frank at LKQ and bought an engine for my wife's car. Great man to work with accommodated all of my wife's concerns and won her over and made her feel comfortable with the purchase. We recommend working with LKQ for peace of mind and great service

Got a transmission put maybe 10,000 miles on it in 3 years and a month after 3 years was up the transmission went out..... Also bought a used transmission installed it did not move at all they told me I had to take it to an ASE certified mechanic to diagnose it. Pretty rude if you ask me because I am a better mechanic than half the shops that overcharge and misdiagnosed things anyway.

Ordered a door with the wheel cover and discussed it on the phone with the worker, not naming names. I drove 2 hrs to get the door to find out it came without the wheel cover that we discussed, I was very specific about needing it. They wouldn't knock the price down when I could have went 2 hrs the opposite way to get one 300 cheaper without the wheel cover. They had me on hd 3 different times for thirty minutes at a time, very unprofessional, don't recommend at all.

I have been dealing with gene in LKQ for years and his customer service is superb. He is knowledgeable and goes above and beyond. When you talk to him you feel like you are talking to family. In my first career I sold auto and tractor parts for over 10 years. I can not call LKQ and get someone to help me in a reasonable time frame. I always have the details ready and know exactly what I want. I have sat on hold for extended periods of time. I have started email chains that were never fully answered. They do not seem to want to sell me anything. They also seem to be tailored to businesses not end users. Luckily there are alternatives but they are the big provider so it is disappointing. I would love to buy things from them.

Well, thay surely had the part I was looking for and it was a nice experience once the man at the desk got his bearings on what I was talking about, he kept asking question after question trying to figure out how he was going to find my order in the system not letting me finnish one answer befor asking another, at first I thought he was joking but lol, no! He wasn't. Genuinely he was trying to do a good joband All in all thay did a great job..... Thanks guys.

Very nice guy working at the desk. I needed a very specific part for an older van and they took care of me even though I didn't know the name of the part. I really felt like this company has focused on their customer service to create a good experience for those just needing to take care of their vehicles. I will definitely be buying from them again should I ever need parts.

I give LKQ three stars they have great service and they tend to always have the part and if they don't have it . They'll order it for you. Regretfully I have to give them only three stars cuz their prices are just ungodly expensive (depending on) what you're ordering or buying....some things are not. And they won't let you in the yard at all ! which sometimes is a problem cuz sometimes you just need to look at the part. Sometimes going to the other wrecking yards in town is less of a hassle and cheaper. but for hard-to-find parts that's where LKQ comes into play . if it's hard to find these people will generally find it and get it for you . so definitely put LKQ on your list . just make sure to do your homework.

I was actually going to pick and pull across the street but when I found this place it was kind of nice because they pull the parts for you. Easy customer service they look up your vehicle and see what they got right away.

Why would you go anywhere else for replacement auto parts. See Rich, the guy knows his job and is quick. I won't go anywhere else, especially one of those you pull it places.

Horrible customer service, jacked up my order tried to refund me then it didn't go through. Then chraged me the full amount again even though the refund hadnt gone fully through. Extremely unprofessional
