Great place. I had my stuff already separated and it was simple to dump in their cans. The guy looked through my crushed cans, I guess for weights crushed into them or something, and then made sure to show me the weights of both my bins, which matched the receipt he gave me. Then I went to the window and got my money from an unknown lady talking through a blacked out window. The guy before me had to scan his finger print for some reason. I just had to give her my name and sign the receipt. Good haul $29.01
Recycling place that takes almost anything metal, not just cans. Scrap is 6 cents a pound. Good for cleaning the backyard and making a few bucks. Prices on the board change
Called before i went and asked if they buy 200 gallon water tanks from custom car detailing car washing they said yea but when i got there it was just a long waste of time because the told me they dont accept it
Oh, there’s someone comes with a little small bag of cans of plastics or whatever worth one dollar you don’t matter you pay whatever you have to pay even though it’s a dime I felt humiliated this guy on the forklift just one dollar worth for that radiator the other guys just standing around talking.i think they don’t even have legal docs to work there. And the driver just ignored me when i offer to polish his headlights of his car same as mine. Like always i enjoy my time at this place ...they're very friendly an humble workers at this place ...i think that's why i keep going back to them ....loyalty is always their with me
I've been taking my recycling (water bottles, alum cans & beverage bottles) to AAA for the past few years. It's usually pretty busy, but not too crowded that I have a long wait.
Hint - Just avoid going on Saturday if you don't want to wait a long time to unload and get your barrels weighed. Going on a weekday, I'm usually in & out of there in 20-25 minutes or so.
This is a scrap yard. It is a small scrap yard no doubt but it is hands down the best paying and the customer service is excellent. Great staff and for being a scrap yard I love it.
Yeah it's dirty and looks sketchy, but once you grow up and put your big boy/big girl chonies on, you realize they're good people providing a good service. Also, they have the best prices for recyclables.
Had a very nice experience with this place. They weighed my scrap metal, and the weight did not seem right, but I did not question it at that time. Came home, weighed one of the pieces of the metal I sold, and could tell the weight should have been more. Went back the next day, and they quickly acknowledged their mistake, and paid me the correct value and let me keep the money I had received the previous day. They apologized, and were very nice and helpful. Good place to recycle. Jim Johnson.
I loaded 2x bins of similar steel and one was arbitrarily priced way low with no explanation.
Payment at the window has you yelling through a window which is completely obscured by tint. The attendant at the other side had so thick an accent that it took 3 tries just to understand that she was asking "first time" and wanted my ID.
To top it all off, I was shorted $5 from the receipt stated value.
So only go there if you are fluent in Spanish and want to get ripped off in not one but a number of different ways.
Love this place we took our girl scout troop there because they were saving their recycables to earn money for their troop. Everyone there was helpful & friendly they took the time to talk to the troop about recycling and gave our troop a great rate for their recyclables. We will definitely be back!
The lady was very nice. But the yard is mega cluttered dangerous looking and one of the filthiest I've ever seen. Definitely do not bring your kids. Pricing signage is on a piece of card board, beat to hell and barely even legible. Common HDPE the'll take, but at .02 per pound what's the point.
Best recycling place ever! They take ALL kinds of plastic..i drive from MoVal to this place..well worth it! Plus friendly and nice peeps helps too I'd give 10 stars if i could!
It smells, and i know the guy that was weighing my copper, that #&*:!$% ripped me off. Because i had watched how much it weighted and the print out ticket was less. He skimmed off the top.
