2026 Honda CRV Hybrid Sports-L AWD I was recently referred to Anderson Honda by a colleague, and while I was able to complete my purchase successfully, I wanted to share some constructive feedback with the intent of supporting process improvement and recognizing exemplary employees—not to place blame. Due to the urgency of completing the deal the same day to keep a discount, I drove over two hours in traffic and my co-signer traveled from the opposite direction. I even confirmed with the sales manager near closing time if I should still come, and was told to continue driving. We arrived close to closing and moved quickly through the process. Before arriving, I had clearly communicated multiple times (both by phone and in person) that this would be a two-person transaction. Unfortunately, when I was sent to finance, my co-signer was not included on the paperwork. The finance agent appeared frustrated, and after multiple attempts, the documents still were not completed correctly. I understand everyone was tired and it was late, but it was not our choice to come that late—we felt rushed to finalize the sale that same day. I also had to rearrange my own responsibilities, and my co-signer missed his night shift to be present. What concerned me most was the visible tension between departments. The frustration seemed to fall on my sales representatives, Sofia and Abdul, who remained professional and courteous the entire time. At one point, when Abdul stepped in to assist with adding the co-signer, he was told he was “too slow” and to “call Sofia because she is faster.” I could clearly see it discouraged him. Employees who work this hard should be treated with respect, especially when they are doing everything right. The next day, we were asked to return to the dealership again to redo the finance paperwork because it was still incorrect. Fortunately, Sanjay resolved everything and provided free all-season carpets to make up for the inconvenience, which was appreciated. Despite the challenges, I want to emphasize the positive: the car is excellent, and Sofia and Abdul were outstanding. They even convinced me to upgrade to the Sport L model, and stayed with us past midnight to go over features. Their customer service, patience, and professionalism were the highlight of the entire experience. They are the reason I would refer friends and consider future purchases from Anderson Honda. In summary: • The vehicle and deal were great • Sofia and Abdul delivered exceptional service and should be recognized • There is an opportunity for improvement in process coordination and interdepartmental communication • Employee respect and morale should be a priority My intention is not to criticize, but to help. Anderson Honda clearly has great people—ensuring they are supported and that the process runs smoothly will only elevate the customer experience further. I bought a new Honda HRV EXL from Anderson Honda. So far all great with the car but as a first time buyer, I felt other dealers clouded me with unclear information. Haris at Anderson was efficient and helpful, I made it clear I want key information before I come to the dealership and he helped out. If you are considering Anderson, go ahead and, ask for Haris. UPDATE: My driver’s side seat is now sagging and showing significant wrinkles. Do not assume a “brand-new” car is flawless. Inspect every inch inside and out before driving off, because once you leave, you’re on your own. Here’s what happened: I initially inspected a different Honda Accord Sport L Hybrid 2025 valued at $40,000 with slightly more test-drive miles. That car was fine. But because I wanted fewer miles, they brought out another vehicle and I made the mistake of not inspecting it thoroughly. Big regret. The car I ended up with has: • Two scratches on the windshield (one extremely visible) • A bubble in the leather on the shifter • The driver’s leather seat already showing premature wear with heavy creasing, while the passenger seat looks almost perfect. Today (8/31/25), I noticed significant sagging and wrinkling on the driver’s seat. I believe the dealership removed the original driver’s seat and placed a used seat into the “new” vehicle. This is not what anyone expects when paying for a brand-new car. When I raised these issues, I was essentially dismissed: the sales manager said the windshield isn’t covered under warranty, and since I drove off the lot, it’s my problem. He even said, “if you drive off the lot and your car has problems, it’s your fault, like if your car tire pops, it’s on you.” He also suggested I may have caused the leather bubble with my jewelry, despite it being a clear fit-and-finish defect. I was also told the leather issues are “normal wear and tear” because it needs to be broken in. This vehicle does not have real leather it comes with aka leatherette on this trim. The leather surface is puckering and pulling near the perforation lines. I will post a photo so anyone can see for themselves. To make matters worse, no one has contacted me, not the owner, John Anderson, nor the store manager, John Schafer. Dealerships should be responsible for the condition of the cars they sell, not just focused on moving units. This experience has ruined the excitement of buying a new vehicle, my Labor Day weekend, and the overall buying experience. They should cover all of this through Honda’s manufacturing warranty as everything above is a manufacturing defect. I will be contacting the corporate office and my local state attorney general/consumer protection office regarding this matter. Bottom line: Don’t let the excitement of buying a car (like me, after losing mine in an accident) cloud your judgment. Always do a full inspection of the exact vehicle you’re handed, not just the one you think you’re getting. Don’t assume the dealership has checked it, and don’t expect them to document any issues you notice. If this happened to me, it could happen to anyone.

I've been a very loyal customer of Anderson Honda for many years , so therefor have referred many friends and family to Anderson Honda ., now I must say that these folks are as crooked as most low class used car dealerships I have visited throughout the years . my college student niece was looking to purchase a used car for college so I helped by searching so I found a good and affordable car at Anderson Honda . my wife and niece went to see the car , talk to the salesman by the name of artur tekiel, she asked for the inspection report , she put artur on the phone with me [I was at work] I asked about the safety of the car , being it was for a teenager college student . he immediately got very aggressive and started questioning my knowledgement about cars and how they work . letting you know how much he knows about cars . after a few insulting words by artur my niece got scare of him and asked my to hung up so I did but before that, I told him that his attitude toward a customers was unacceptable and he said ' you can talk whom ever you want , I'll call my manager for you if you want to' my niece really liked the car so I asked to them contact the original salesperson she talk to , I believe it was sobhanieth but she wasn't available the next day . so my wife , who is a mechanic by trade went to check the car out , she saw some oil around the head gasket and she asked the salesperson in turn about it and asked she could drive test the car in the freeway and she was told with a bad attitude she had to buy the car first. at that point I asked them to leave that hostile place . needles to say , I called the general manager jonh Schafer numerous times and Mr johnny Vo just so they are aware of the type sales personal they have , neither answered my calls . I really hope Mr John Anderson see about weeding out those people that are NOT GOOD for his store. for now ., if you're looking to purchase a used car or even a new Honda Go a AutoNation dealer .....in my humble opinion

I recently visited Anderson Honda after setting up an appointment to see a 2022 Honda Accord Hybrid. I made the drive all the way from Sacramento with the serious intention of purchasing the almost $28,000 vehicle. Unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing and left me feeling like my time and interest weren’t valued at all. Upon inspecting the car, I immediately noticed that 3 out of the 4 tires were extremely worn—between 2/32 and 3/32 tread left. For those who don’t know, tires at that level are well beyond the point of needing replacement. When I brought this up, the dealership insisted the tires were still “safe to drive” based on their inspection, which I found concerning. I asked if they would be willing to replace the tires or work with me on it, and the answer was a flat-out no. Instead, they claimed they were already “losing money” on the car at the current listed price. There was zero attempt to negotiate, no effort to ask what they could do to earn my business, and no flexibility at all. To make matters worse, they tried to upsell me on a vehicle that was way outside my stated budget. When I politely told them that the Accord wasn’t the right choice for me due to the condition of the tires and that we’d be heading back to Sacramento, they didn’t even try to salvage the sale or offer any solution. It was as if they couldn’t care less. In the end, I felt like my time was completely wasted, and I left feeling undervalued as a customer. If you're traveling from out of town or expecting any level of professional customer care, I would suggest thinking twice before choosing Anderson Honda.

I purchased a new 2026 CR-V Hybrid Trailsport from Anderson Honda, and the experience was great compared to many other dealerships. They provided the out-the-door price when I asked, whereas other dealerships do their best to avoid it and just try to get you over to the dealership. They also had the best prices in the Bay Area that I could find. Shout-out to ARTUR for being a very knowledgeable and attentive sales rep, guiding me through the process, answering questions and helping me to drive out of there with a brand new car. Opportunity for improvement: have more finance guys work on your busy days. A lot of time was spent waiting around for the finance guy to become available.

2025-07-23 Update: I finally fulfilled my promise after 2 years! Same car! Still Anderson Honda! Just a more bright color! Selling a 2016 BMW could be painful but it's a good start to own a Honda. Every move will make a difference I am glad I made it now. Special thanks to Sam, Alina and Johnny! Such an efficient and smooth purchase experience as always as Robert helped me 2 years ago. We reached out to numerous dealers, asking for their lowest price. We had test driven the CR-V hybrid and knew it was the car we wanted. Most of the dealers did not reply with a number, but with a request for us to call, come in, etc. which is what we were trying to avoid. It is no secret that shopping for a car is considered a negative experience by many. HOWEVER, Henry Vu at Anderson got back to us quickly and with a great price. We came in to see him, Henry was GREAT and then we test drove 'our car' with Artur (who knows SO MUCH about cars!! He even told us about a feature on our 2018 CRV that we had no idea about). After that fabulous time with Artur, we were handed over to Steven to complete the purchase. Steven was fabulous as well. No pressure, lots of great information AND he told us about a loyalty program we'd never heard of, which saved an incredible amount on the extended warranty. In fact, it's the only time we've ever bought the extended warranty, because it truly was too good to pass by. There was not one negative moment with anyone at Anderson. A truly positive experience, start to finish. Thank you!!!

I ended up taking my business to Stockton Honda. I want to thank Dave at Anderson Honda for his efforts—he was kind and tried to rectify the situation—but unfortunately, I faced ongoing communication issues with Sophie, Alina, Willie, and Jimmy. I stopped negotiating with other dealers and was ready to buy from Anderson Honda, but delays and lack of follow-up, despite my repeated calls and emails, left me without clear numbers when I was ready to purchase. I was even told "Please don't take this the wrong way but Jimmy doesn't do well with tons of phone calls, please only call once, leave a voicemail and wait for him to get back to you" By the time Dave reached out, I had already been contacted by Stockton Honda, who provided immediate quotes, excellent service, and a deal within 2 hours. I would have completed my purchase with Anderson Honda if the communication had been better but my business was clearly not important. John Schafer also reached out to get a better understanding of the problems I experienced and then after replying I never heard back from him.

Great experience! They gave me a great price that was way under other nearby dealerships with no games. When I came in and met with Alina, everything continued to be straightforward. We saw options, got to test drive, and got questions answered. When we went to purchase, there was no games and we weren't forced into things we didn't want like ceramic coating (they offered it, but it was no problem when we said "no"). Overall my best car buying experience ever.

I’m really disappointed with my experience here. I bought a car from this dealership less than a month ago, and there have been issues from the very beginning. The same day I left the lot, my tire pressure light came on and I had to go fill it myself, even though I was told the car had new tires. About a week later, I noticed my oil life was already down to 15 percent, which made me feel like they didn’t even give it an oil change. When I finally went in, they told me the oil was fine and the numbers just weren’t reset. But if I just bought the car, I shouldn’t be second guessing whether basic maintenance was actually done. I also told them my brakes were squeaky, and instead of taking it seriously, they were rude and dismissive. The manager said he couldn’t hear it and asked me to show him, as if I could somehow physically show them the issue. I let them hear the noise and they still brushed it off like it was normal. I know what normal sounds like, and this wasn’t it. It felt like I wasn’t being listened to, and I honestly felt like I was being talked down to because I’m a woman. To make matters worse, less than an hour after leaving the dealership, my tire pressure light came back on again. I just spent a lot of money on this car and I’m already dealing with problems and feeling unsafe. It’s frustrating because they made it seem like I was overreacting, when I was just asking for what I was promised. Just to add, when I first came in I was looking at a different car and it had a problem just starting. Instead of addressing the issue or talking me through anything after the test drive they brushed it off and started running my credit without explaining anything to me or asking if I was even set on that car. I didn’t feel respected or informed at all, but by the GRACE of God, one of the salesmen ended up showing me a different car, and that’s the one I ended up buying. I actually love the car itself, but the problems and the way I was treated have made this whole experience really stressful. I didn’t get this car because of great service, I got it in spite of it. They also told me I had a 30-day warranty in case anything came up, and that I could bring the car back if something was wrong and they’d fix it. But it took me forever just to get in touch with someone. I called four different times, left voicemails, and no one ever got back to me. Someone finally answered and even after all of that it didn’t even matter, because they dismissed all my concerns and acted like I was an inconvenience for even showing up. I drove two hours just to go back to this dealership hoping they’d make things right. Instead, I left feeling frustrated, ignored, and completely brushed off. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place especially not to other women. I expected care, professionalism, and basic respect. I didn’t get any of that.

I had a great experience at Anderson Honda, and I want to especially thank Ricardo for all his help throughout the process. I originally came in planning to buy a used CR-V, but after speaking with Ricardo and going through the options, I ended up purchasing a new CR-V Sport Hybrid L, and I couldn't be happier with the decision. Ricardo was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to clearly explain the differences between the models and trims. He was very accommodating with our requests to test drive different cars and made sure my family and I felt comfortable every step of the way. What really stood out was his thoughtfulness, since our schedule was tight, Ricardo even delivered the car to us the next day. That level of service really meant a lot. Highly recommend working with him if you're considering a Honda!

Easy transaction. Henry was great to deal with, first by email, then in person. Very honest process - unlike other dealerships they don’t do any add on accessories that they force upon the buyer. We did the entire paperwork process in about 15 minutes and then waited another hour for them to prep the car. Definitely recommend Anderson Honda over other Honda dealerships!

Purchased a new Honda Accord over the memorial day weekend from Anderson Honda. Worked with Henry VU. He was very helpful and straight forward. He gave me a price over the phone and i got the exact numbers when i walked in. Their price was best in the south bay and i checked with multiple dealers including one really close to me in San Jose. We were able to close the transaction quickly and drove out of there with a new car. Will definitely keep Anderson Honda on top of the list for any future vehicle needs

Recently purchased a CRV here and it was a great experience. They were super transparent and offered me a good price right after I submitted a request for info. The email offer was in my inbox right after I spoke with Isabella and I went down a couple hours later to purchase. No surprise fees! Huge shout-out to Isabella for getting me the info. I worked with Nelson for the sale once I arrived and he was amazing, chill, and made the wait fly by on a very busy Black Friday. Steve in the finance office was also fantastic and at no time did I feel pressured. After a rough week test driving and negotiating at different dealerships this was a piece of cake purchase.
