I had a very good experience with Joe, Willie, and Steve in purchasing a new vehicle, recently. They represented Anderson Honda very well.
Joe was very prompt and direct in all early communications. When I visited the dealership to talk in person, he was very warm and welcoming, in both showing me what I needed to see in the inventory on the lot, as well as making me feel comfortable in the dealership. As I worked to conclude the purchase with others, he made sure that my new car was fully prepped to be ready for me to drive off without delay. For as long as Joe is a sales consultant at Anderson, I will turn to Anderson first if I shop for a Honda again.
Willie the sales manager was straightforward and reasonable in working out a deal that I was satisfied with. And also helped in communication with me when he was on duty and Joe was not.
Steve in finance was very efficient in working through the final paperwork with me, and I appreciated how everything moved promptly and matter-of-factly.
All three made sure I will look to Anderson if I look for a Honda again, and maybe even more likely I will consider Hondas in the future.Feb 18, 2026 -
I recently purchased a 2026 Honda Civic from this dealership and had a great experience working with Haris Shoeb. I had fantastic help at Anderson Honda. SOPHIE MOSTAKHDENIM was wonderful!! She was in the sales department one night when I was experiencing some trouble with my car and I was feeling frustrated and overwhelmed. She literally drove over to my place, jumped my battery, patient in her instructions, and then followed me back to the dealership. She didn’t have to do that, but was willing to help however she could. She went “above and beyond” what is typically expected, but what one wishes for. Completely patient and kind!

If you are in the market for a Honda, I would definitely check out Anderson Honda in Palo Alto. Nice people to work with, a good selection of cars, and a service department that has taken great care of my 2008 Honda Pilot. If you are looking for a wonderful sales person there, I just finished leasing a new Honda and highly recommend Joe Tran. He is knowledgeable, patient, worked very hard over a long time for me helping me to find the right car, and made the experience easy and pleasant.

I had a wonderful purchasing experience working with Jeremy this November. By far the best out the door prices on Civic Hybrids in the area (compared to Serramonte or SF Honda) but also the most pleasant service without agressive upsells, tough negotiating, or non-removable dealer upgrades. The Anderson team also helped me out with a small detailing issue a month after purchasing. Overall, it felt like Jeremy really wanted to make sure I was happy with my new car, and made the process as easy as possible.

I'd been looking for a particular car for quite awhile and when I saw my dream car pop up on CarMax, I immediately contacted Anderson Honda where the car was located. I had a wonderful experience with the whole team at Anderson beginning with the test drive and ending with signing the contract. From my friendly saleman, Robert, Sanjay in Finance and the dealership manager, I left feeling comfortable leaving with a price I could afford! They worked with me until I was happy with the numbers and they took good care of me and my grumpy (protective) father, who helped negotiate a great financing deal. I absolutely love my new car! Great experience buying a car at Anderson Honda! Jeremy W. is the guy to go to. Very professional, friendly, and helpful. Went the extra mile to pick me up at the car rental to take me to the dealership. Steve at their finance department is a treasure. Lets you know all your options and the pros and cons for each option. Wished all my car buying experiences in the past was like the one I had at Anderson Honda.

Such a great car-buying experience. The people here are so genuine, helpful, and never pushy. We worked with Alina and she was amazing — so patient, kind, and really willing to walk us through everything.
She spent hours with me looking at different cars, answering all my questions, letting me test drive — just really taking her time with me. When I finally chose a car, I ended up wanting a more premium model than I originally planned (nice job Alina, haha!). We sat down to negotiate, and I told them the monthly budget I needed to stay within. They went back and forth and genuinely worked with me to get the price to where it needed to be.
It was also really sweet at the end — while I was waiting to drive my car off the lot, all the employees were congratulating me and celebrating my new car with me. Just a good bunch of people work here for sure. If I buy another Honda, I’ll definitely come back here. Thanks so much to the whole team.

I recently purchased a 2026 Honda Civic Hybrid Sport from associate Jeremy at the dealership. I talked to him over several days and we agreed on a lease deal for 12,000 miles a year and a good monthly payment. I confirmed with him it was a 12,000 mile a year lease. On the day of the deal, Jeremy had the finance paperwork drawn up so me and my father can get out of there fast. I arrived at the dealership and in fact everything went smoothly. I even asked the finance person if the deal was 12k a year and that’s what we all expected. I didn’t think anything of it until the first bill arrived from Honda….
The dealership submitted a false deal to Honda who only included the 10k a year for miles and not 12k as agreed on between the sales associate and the dealership. I felt completely betrayed and taken advantage of and lied to. I reached out to Jeremy who told me that the dealership wants to “make things right” but also wanted to see where the communication breakdown was. I responded to Jeremy and then stopped responding to my texts. There was no breakdown in communication from my side as I was offered the deal by Jeremy that included 12k miles a year from the start and I confirmed it several times. No one front management has reached out to me to make it right or to give me specific steps on how they will fix this.

I really appreciate the integrity that I was dealt with at Anderson Honda. I came in to look at a specific model and year of Honda CRV that my car broker had identified; and they treated me with respect and helped me test drive and then buy the car I came for. Other dealers were all trying to upsell me on a new car with add-ons. Sam Ebrahimi was so genteel, which I appreciated greatly.

2026 Honda CRV Hybrid Sports-L AWD
I was recently referred to Anderson Honda by a colleague, and while I was able to complete my purchase successfully, I wanted to share some constructive feedback with the intent of supporting process improvement and recognizing exemplary employees—not to place blame.
Due to the urgency of completing the deal the same day to keep a discount, I drove over two hours in traffic and my co-signer traveled from the opposite direction. I even confirmed with the sales manager near closing time if I should still come, and was told to continue driving. We arrived close to closing and moved quickly through the process.
Before arriving, I had clearly communicated multiple times (both by phone and in person) that this would be a two-person transaction. Unfortunately, when I was sent to finance, my co-signer was not included on the paperwork. The finance agent appeared frustrated, and after multiple attempts, the documents still were not completed correctly. I understand everyone was tired and it was late, but it was not our choice to come that late—we felt rushed to finalize the sale that same day. I also had to rearrange my own responsibilities, and my co-signer missed his night shift to be present.
What concerned me most was the visible tension between departments. The frustration seemed to fall on my sales representatives, Sofia and Abdul, who remained professional and courteous the entire time. At one point, when Abdul stepped in to assist with adding the co-signer, he was told he was “too slow” and to “call Sofia because she is faster.” I could clearly see it discouraged him. Employees who work this hard should be treated with respect, especially when they are doing everything right.
The next day, we were asked to return to the dealership again to redo the finance paperwork because it was still incorrect. Fortunately, Sanjay resolved everything and provided free all-season carpets to make up for the inconvenience, which was appreciated.
Despite the challenges, I want to emphasize the positive: the car is excellent, and Sofia and Abdul were outstanding. They even convinced me to upgrade to the Sport L model, and stayed with us past midnight to go over features. Their customer service, patience, and professionalism were the highlight of the entire experience. They are the reason I would refer friends and consider future purchases from Anderson Honda.
In summary:
• The vehicle and deal were great
• Sofia and Abdul delivered exceptional service and should be recognized
• There is an opportunity for improvement in process coordination and interdepartmental communication
• Employee respect and morale should be a priority
My intention is not to criticize, but to help. Anderson Honda clearly has great people—ensuring they are supported and that the process runs smoothly will only elevate the customer experience further.

I bought a new Honda HRV EXL from Anderson Honda. So far all great with the car but as a first time buyer, I felt other dealers clouded me with unclear information. UPDATE: My driver’s side seat is now sagging and showing significant wrinkles. Do not assume a “brand-new” car is flawless. Inspect every inch inside and out before driving off, because once you leave, you’re on your own.
Here’s what happened: I initially inspected a different Honda Accord Sport L Hybrid 2025 valued at $40,000 with slightly more test-drive miles. That car was fine. But because I wanted fewer miles, they brought out another vehicle and I made the mistake of not inspecting it thoroughly. Big regret.
The car I ended up with has:
• Two scratches on the windshield (one extremely visible)
• A bubble in the leather on the shifter
• The driver’s leather seat already showing premature wear with heavy creasing, while the passenger seat looks almost perfect. Today (8/31/25), I noticed significant sagging and wrinkling on the driver’s seat.
I believe the dealership removed the original driver’s seat and placed a used seat into the “new” vehicle. This is not what anyone expects when paying for a brand-new car.
When I raised these issues, I was essentially dismissed: the sales manager said the windshield isn’t covered under warranty, and since I drove off the lot, it’s my problem. He even said, “if you drive off the lot and your car has problems, it’s your fault, like if your car tire pops, it’s on you.” He also suggested I may have caused the leather bubble with my jewelry, despite it being a clear fit-and-finish defect.
I was also told the leather issues are “normal wear and tear” because it needs to be broken in. This vehicle does not have real leather it comes with aka leatherette on this trim. The leather surface is puckering and pulling near the perforation lines. I will post a photo so anyone can see for themselves.
To make matters worse, no one has contacted me, not the owner, John Anderson, nor the store manager, John Schafer.
Dealerships should be responsible for the condition of the cars they sell, not just focused on moving units. This experience has ruined the excitement of buying a new vehicle, my Labor Day weekend, and the overall buying experience. They should cover all of this through Honda’s manufacturing warranty as everything above is a manufacturing defect. I will be contacting the corporate office and my local state attorney general/consumer protection office regarding this matter.
Bottom line: Don’t let the excitement of buying a car (like me, after losing mine in an accident) cloud your judgment. Always do a full inspection of the exact vehicle you’re handed, not just the one you think you’re getting. Don’t assume the dealership has checked it, and don’t expect them to document any issues you notice.

2025-07-23 Update: I finally fulfilled my promise after 2 years! Same car! Still Anderson Honda! Just a more bright color! Selling a 2016 BMW could be painful but it's a good start to own a Honda. Every move will make a difference I am glad I made it now.
Special thanks to Sam, Alina and Johnny! Such an efficient and smooth purchase experience as always as Robert helped me 2 years ago. Appreciate Alina's patience & professionalism sharing experiences & benefits of owning a Honda and stay quite late to get my car delivered in the weekend.

Robert is a very nice and easy going person. He assisted me to order a 2023 Civic Hatchback efficiently. But I finally decided to keep my current BMW X5 for another 1-2 years due to family considerations and the bad selling price quote right now in the market. Robert helped me get back the deposit quickly and friendly. I love that Civic Hatchback so much personally god know how much I wish I could own it lol. I had a great experience purchasing my Honda Pilot with Anderson Honda. Staff was very friendly. Sophie was great. She helped me in the whole process replying to my emails on time and given me the best pricing in the bay. I also exchanged my older Honda Accord and got a good deal for that as well.
