What clients say about Envision Toyota Service Center in Milpitas (CA)

Brought my car in on 10/10/25 for 4 new tires, oil change, alignment, and requested a battery check. Towards the end, I was told my battery had failed and was quoted $450 for a new one + cleaning. This morning I popped my hood to inspect the battery and to my surprise there was Toyota 08/2023 sticker on it. Went over my records and saw that on 09/2023 my battery had been replaced at the service center. Called to see if it was still under warranty and was quoted about $50 for a new one. The biggest issue is that this wasn't informed to me while my car was being serviced? Due to warranty I was expected to take my car in and now it doesn't want to start. I've been a loyal customer since I bought my car at Envision Toyota and they really dropped the ball.

I had a great experience from start to finish. Brandon was extremely helpful, kind, and professional. He genuinely cared about both my car and me as a customer, took the time to explain everything clearly, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. It’s rare to find service like this, and I truly appreciated it.

I went in for my 20,000-mile maintenance service and specifically requested a coolant system pressure test. After waiting about 2.5 hours, I was told the service was completed. However, when I received my car, it was very clear that the coolant had not been topped off at all — the coolant level was almost empty.
My vehicle is still under warranty, but I was informed that the pressure test would require an additional charge. I accepted that and decided not to proceed with the pressure test.
After that, I was asked to wait another 30 minutes while they finally added coolant. At the same time, I was told there were “rats in my car,” which felt like a strange and unconvincing explanation.
What concerns me most is that after I got home, I discovered an issue on the left rear side of my car, which I did not notice at the dealership. This was very disappointing and raised serious concerns about the quality and care of the serviceDec 23, 2025 -
Charged $50($28 for labour) for a rear wiper blade change, when checked after the service it wasn’t replaced at all! It was exactly the same it was before. Now I doubt do they really work on car , they couldn’t get one simple thing fixed!

I am very disappointed with my recent service experience. My service advisor, Brandon Kodani, told me that drop-off service was not available because there was no driver, but I saw another customer receive a normal Lyft drop-off during my visit. On the phone, I was told the service would take about 30 minutes, but in person Brandon said it would take 3 hours with no clear explanation for the change. This felt dishonest and inconsistent, and it has damaged my trust in this service department. I expect honest communication and fair treatment, and I did not receive that here.

I have been coming here for almost 8 years now , and every time I’ve been there they are friendly and take care of my car issue as fast as possible . Also they explain the pricing well in case an expensive repair is needed . A shot out to Jazz, Ahmed, and all the wonderful people who care for the customer in this enterprise !

Alex at the service center is absolutely legendary. Had to shake his had TWICE because he's such a good guy. 10/10

They did what they were supposed to do with the service of my car, but what I dont like is why did they unplug my dashcam? I know that they were probably having fun with the car. It is not professional at all to be unplugging my dashcam and down right disrespectful because who knows what they were doing with the cameras off smh

I had a great experience working with Ali Alkhafagi at Envision Toyota of Milpitas. I came in to replace my tires and take care of a few recommended services on my Toyota, and Ali made the whole process simple and stress-free.
He walked me through the options, explained the pricing clearly, and made sure the work was done right. The turnaround time was exactly what he promised, and he kept me updated so I never had to guess what was happening with my car.
It’s rare to find someone who combines professionalism, honesty, and great customer service, but Ali delivers all three. I’ll definitely be coming back for future service needs and highly recommend working with him.Nov 05, 2025 -
I paid $6,000 to purchase the Toyota care plus extension warranty when I bought my Camry 2023.
The dealer charges around $1,400 for 30,000 miles service package which already removed the items that extension warranty covered.
Service is pretty good, but price is insane. The item in the receipt show that the component charge around $500, the labor charge around $900Oct 20, 2025 -
When I first walked into this place, I immediately noticed another customer arguing with the service desk — she was upset about being overcharged. They were asking thousands for a repair that probably should’ve cost only a few hundred. I remember thinking, that’s not a good sign.
I had come in just for a multipoint inspection, an oil change, and a fluid flush — simple maintenance work. That part alone was already more expensive than other shops I’ve been to. But after the inspection, they told me I needed another repair that would cost $1,500 — for a job that normally runs about $750 elsewhere.
To make things worse, a few days later I started hearing a high-pitched squealing noise coming from my truck. That noise wasn’t there before, and I’m convinced they messed with my drive belt, which was in perfectly fine condition when I brought it in.
This morning, I took my Tacoma to Akins Auto Repair for a second opinion. The mechanic there literally shook his head and laughed when I showed him Toyota’s quote. He told me I was right — the work should’ve cost far less.
I used to take my Tacoma to Pasadena, where a friend of mine works in the service department. They always treated me like family — honest pricing, no games. After moving to the Bay, I wanted to give Envision a chance, but this experience reminded me why I usually avoid dealership service centers.
Having grown up around mechanics and a father who ran service shops, I know when something doesn’t add up. Unfortunately, Envision fits every stereotype — overpriced, impersonal, and dismissive.
I’m disabled now and can’t do the work myself, so I rely on good people to be honest. Thankfully, I’ve found a local mechanic I can trust, and that’s where I’ll be taking my Tacoma from now on.
If you want to be treated fairly and not like just another number, avoid Envision. They don’t treat customers like friends or family — just as dollar signs.
UPDATE: When I got my truck back from Akins, they showed me pics of loose bolts in areas Toyota said I needed maintenance. It's almost as if they caused the problems I needed to fix. Yes, some of the fluids were dirty but not tightening bolts and messing with my drive belt is not cool and super unethical.
Will NEVER go to any Toyota service department, EVER again.Oct 16, 2025 -
Alex, Michael, and the rest of the staff that I had an opportunity to interact with provide first class customer service.

They always try to sell you services that you don’t need that costs thousands of dollars, every, single, time. This time, I asked for some random service item to be scratched before the service start, service advisor claimed they did scratch the item, but price didn’t change on the invoice, huh. Asked for itemized cost breakdown, nope they don’t have it. Then later I see the same thing come up again in the final bill! If I see the material on the bill, for sure they charged labor for that item as well.
What’s unbearable was them straight up lying to your face that something is broken and needs hundreds and thousands of dollars to fix. No picture or anything for proof.
Next day I go to another shop to do an inspection, where they provided pictures and explanations and everything. Guess what, no work needed to be done. And the dealership didn’t even fill my windshield wiper fluid despite charging me for it (new shop filled it free of charge). Truly a bruh moment, irony maximus.
At this point, it’s only myself to blame for coming back again. And I will just stop doing that.Oct 01, 2025 -
Highly recommend Toyota envision - best dealer in Bay Area. I service my Toyota 1794. My advisor Alina. I have more 7 years relationship with that dealer. Best supervisor Todd F. I appreciate you guys.

Went there again recently with an appointment. It took 2 hours without a tire rotation as I just had new tires installed. Honestly, there is no reason it should take more than 1 hour. It's an oil change and an inspection. You have appointments, you know how long each task takes. Why the long wait?
Much better than my previous visit that took 4 hours and 20 minutes. But still!
The recommended repairs were over the top and exaggerated, as is the case with dealers.Sep 25, 2025 -
Very slow. For a simple 15k service, took them 4 hours. No repairs, just visual inspections.

Mike Tran was the worst. Don't trust the other reviewer. I'm Vietnamese, so I looked for a Vietnamese and found him. However, he found ways to add extra charges for services that should have been free. He even made up a leaking problem and told me I needed to fix it for almost $500. I believed him because he's Vietnamese, but guess what? After he "fixed" it, my car started to leak. I brought the car back, and he did fix it this time, but on the paperwork, he wrote, "Dealer won't be responsible for any other leaks in the future." What a joke!

KZ assisted my daughter with finding the car that she was looking for and she was very happy.
Everyone there was very helpful and assisted us with all of our questions and concerns.Sep 21, 2025 -
They said my car needed to change transmission fluid, and tried to charge almost 2k? What a joke. I won’t let it happen.
I felt like since i didn’t accept any packages/services they offered and also they saw me had a old car, then when I picked up my car, even though I already been first, they ignored me and let me wait 20 mins to get my car back. They let 4,5 people behind me pick it up first
Customer Service is so bad!!!!!!! and please, don’t up price sell!!Sep 21, 2025 -
Our service advisor, Mike Tran, is the best you'll ever meet. Always at his 100%. He's our service advisor for 15+ yrs, ever since Piercey Toyota days.
Also, all our vehicles were bought there at Piercey/Envision Toyota (from N 1st St SJ to Milpitas)Aug 20, 2025 -
Envision Toyota is top of the top! The service team went above and beyond, exceeding all my expectations. Special thanks to Fixed Ops Director T for truly taking care of my car. Grateful and highly recommend!

Been servicing my Rav4 at Envision almost since the beginning of the cars lifetime. The team has the customer service formula down and takes the extra time to make sure we have the opportunity to take advantage of as many deal as possible to maximize or meet our budget.
We have decided to move forward with Alex T, as our service advisor. He has given us a lot of confidence in have our vehicle serviced at Envision. Truly grateful for Alex's support during the most recent visits. Need a rental car for a major service or maintenance? We we were out in 30 mins with a rental. Pretty cool.
Having Envision Toyota's team on our side and empathizing with our limitations has been the best. Keep it up yall!
Note: Did yall know that you can rent a car directly from Envision Toyota? For leisure use as well. Reach out to their service center for details.Jul 20, 2025 -
I’ve always brought my vehicles here. On the recent service with my RAV4, the service and competence of this dealership is going downhill. I love Toyota this dealership makes me want to trade in for another brand

Took my Rav4 in for a pretty good amount of work yesterday. Pulled in, dropped it off, and left in my rental 30 minutes later. The woman who helped me was polite and profession, her name eludes me but she had huge golden nails.
The next day I was called twice with updates on the work in progress and shortly after they had informed me that my car was ready. I returned the rental and drove out of there with my car in fifteen minutes.
This place is light years ahead of Capitol Toyota, though it isn't cheap. But you get what you pay for and I feel that my money was well spent.Feb 12, 2025 -
PLEASE beware!!! These people are money hungry and will scare you in any way to pay for their ridiculous prices! My car had a check engine light so I decided to come here to get it resolved. My service advisor initially charged me $298 for a multi-point inspection which I agreed upon. After 30 minutes of this “inspection”, they found out that there was 1 broken ignition coil and 4 spark plugs that needed to be replaced. With just these 2 REPAIRS, they were going to charge me $1700!!!! In addition, they also said that my brakes/rotors needed to be replaced for an additional $932. The total estimate came to ~$2600. WHAT ARE THESE PRICES?? Mind you, spark plugs are about $25/piece and ignition coils are around $100/piece elsewhere. As someone who doesn’t know much about cars, I already knew this was a complete scam. My car only had 1 broken ignition coil while the rest were fine and they wanted me to replace all 4??? We argued and I threatened to report him. He began wandering around for 10 minutes, came back, and decided to give me a “discount” on my multi-point inspection, which ended up being $149. What a joke! What does this tell you about the prices they are handing out? That it’s all a scam. I ended up only paying for the inspection and got my repairs done elsewhere for $300. My car no longer has any check engine lights nor any other issues. Save your precious time + money and take your car elsewhere.

Very bad experience with this service center. I live in Bakersfield Ca. Was on trip and my car gave me maintenance warning. So had to come here for oil change. But I found that staff here are trying to steal my money. My car had only 30k miles and they gave me attach report to change all tires for $1500. I was amazed that why my car with 30k miles need tire change and I declined to change it there. Next week I went to tire store in Bakersfield for better price to change tire and they told me my tire are good for another 15-20 k miles. And report I got from dealership is wrong.
Also they gave another $2000 quote to perform another service and advisor scared me saying if those service are not performed than vehicle can suffer serious performance issues. But their prices are more than double than what I pay in Bakersfield. I decided to drive Bakersfield and get checked in there and they recommended not doing those services.
Staff here are not customer oriented, but they are money oriented. They just want to steal your money by generating wrong reports and scaring you by wrong information.
I would not recommend doing service here.Dec 14, 2024 -
Dishonest service center. I recently paid $$$$ here for repairs. I wish I had gone elsewhere and fact checked the quotes. As one of the many recommended maintainence items, I was told the tires need to be replaced. They had a buy 3 get 1 tire free offer that I took. I did have one brand new tire already on my car which they were going to leave in the trunk for me. They did not do that and advisor said they "lost" the tire. I asked for a refund(tire costed me $250) for which he said that isn't possible. I asked to speak with a manager who he said will call me back. Haven't received a call back or a refund. Do yourself a favor and take your business someplace else.

Don't go here and do not trust these guys. My first time here and I spoke to my service advisor for 15 minutes, then I took my car and left without having any service done.
I was only getting regular maintenance done: oil change, tire rotation, tire alignment. The service advisor quoted me $390. Not only was that a ridiculous price I had never heard of, but I purchased my Toyota Corolla with a 3-year maintenance contract which means my maintenance is covered. He continued to give me a hard time and told me they only honor that contract with cars bought from their dealership. He treated me like I didn't know what I was talking about even though I had gotten service done and covered 6 months prior at another dealership. So, I left. I called the receptionist and she apologized and said she didn't know why he was giving me such a hard time because they do honor the maintenance contracts.
I brought my car to Stress Free Auto Shop because they had good reviews on Yelp. First of all, they quoted me $156 (compared to $390) for the same services and they even called the 1-800 maintenance contract for me and made sure everything was good to go. Go here instead!Aug 01, 2024 -
Dishonest Service Center - Stay Away
I had marked my oil filter before the service and it was not changed. The dealership lied about it.
90% sure that my oil was not changed as well.
Attaching pics from my last oil change and that done here.

I’ve been with this dealer for the past ten years, if not more. I got all my Toyotas here and serviced here. I had full confidence in them that I’d spent every dollar they asked me to. Unfortunately, in recent years I feel there’s a significant upselling going on here. Whatever service you do here, they’d always tell you to do more in the name of making the best of your car. Once, twice, ok. But EVERY time? Nay, I think they are money hungry and the so-called advisor has a commission on your spendings. Besides, they seem to be short-staffed that you are likely to wait a while for anything - check-in, repairing, check out, etc. Also, you’ll notice that when they pull your car out, they drive it recklessly. Well, 10+ years of loyalty, gotta say bye, especially that It’s under the management. Good luck.
